We had a great time at the Wilcox Gastropub! Such a lovely patio and ambiance. We enjoyed the great selection for happy hour - the fish tacos were a huge hit - and the Dragon Seoul cocktail was a must try. The true standout was the Grilled Sea Bream. Perfectly cooked and the lemon curry with the couscous was an incredible paring! Will definitely be back.

The Wilcox Gastropub is a great place for after-work hours and weekends, welcoming everyone, including those dining alone. The atmosphere is unique, set in a nearly 200-year-old heritage building preserved with a contemporary feel, offering a wild location among towering condos. The Tuesday and Wednesday oyster special is a highlight, with 24 for $40 and half-price market price on Tuesdays. The west coast oysters are fatty, full of sea flavours, clean, and crisp. The menu also features Korean Spicey Chicken, Jerk Chicken tacos, truffle fries, burgers, and the Dragon Soul drink. The service is fantastic and caring, with staff showing teamwork, dedication, and a positive atmosphere. Servers are attentive, polite, and excellent. The kitchen staff are friendly, approachable, and committed to customer satisfaction. Prices are very affordable. The only concern noted is that the kitchen supervisor did not reflect the same positive, professional attitude as the rest of the team. Overall, the food and drinks are amazing, and the establishment is a must-visit for its history and strong positive first impressions.
