“Let me tell you how amazing The Riverfield is! We had our twins baptism dinner here in the backroom and had the absolute best experience ever from start to finish! Allison made everything so simple and easy for me to plan with her to celebrate our boys with family and friends. She was extremely accommodating with all our requests, as we had some with food allergies. The room is gorgeous and perfect even better his had an outdoor space with a view! The kids loved being able to run around outside. The food was so good you have to have seconds! The slow roasted beef brisket is a dream that you will crave over and over again on top of their roasted potatoes. Don’t let that statement fool you, all the food was delish so make sure your try it all and get seconds. Hats off to the Chef! The atmosphere was perfect. Before we even left I told my husband we will be having another party here for sure! Thank you Allison and The Riverfield 865 for helping us create a beautiful celebration and memory for our family! “When in Buffalo this restaurant is a must, I am a steak lover, tonight I would say I had the best steak in my 72 years of my life. The NY 14oz was unbelievable. My compliments to the chef. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. “Visited for the first time with my mom on 1/31/26. Friendly, hard working host sat us within 10 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and chatted with the bartender, he was fluent in the menu and preparations. Our server was equally informative, she was very busy, only wished we had a bit more attention but, it was a busy Saturday. We ordered the Meatloaf Tower and the Shrimp and Scallop dinners. Both were very good, served with warm bread, salad and side. Meatloaf was a bit dense but good, Shrimp and Scallops were cooked to perfection in a garlicky butter and the vegetables with that dish were outstanding.“

“Our party of 4 went on Saturday about 7 pm. We each ordered something different, and everything was delicious. Our server, 'D', was great. One big drawback...there is no bar! Even a nice glass of wine or a cold beer would have gone very well with the meal, the ambiance, and the wonderful live music.“

“We ordered through GrubHub last night. Incredibly good food and the portion sizes are unreal. We did the BOGO deal with Fettuccini Tenderloin. Side salad, garlic bread, etc. We had a problem with the system, so I called for clarification. Whoever the gentleman was the answered last night (3/6/26 around 5:45pm) was awesome to deal with and very friendly. We’ll definitely order from here again and hopefully dine in soon, too. 🍝“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“Out of all the Chinese places in WNY this is by far the best!! The egg roles are JUMBO and packed with flavor, some of the best pork fried rice! Chicken is perfect it’s not soggy like the other places, you can taste the flavor!!!! 10/10 stars will drive the extra 8 minutes just for this place!“

Food was delicious, great portion and the price was right. Cornbread was OK but ive had better, as for the tarter sauce.... its just mayonnaise fortunately I had all the ingredients and made my own. But all in all it was a great meal. I rate them 4.3 out of 5 but thats just my opinion, check them out for yourself.“

“I went for my bday on 2/20 because I kept hearing so many good things about this place and the hype was right , everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot just how I like it 👌 . The country fried chicken wings were fried so good crispy on the outside juicy and tender on the inside. Now when I say that Mac and cheese was so beautiful creamy and cheesy in presentation 😋 boy oh boy as soon as I took a bite I almost hopped out of my seat and started dancing 💃🏽it was so good 😅 . Last but not least those collard greens were so good tender and seasoned not too much and not too little but seasoned juuust right! I'm definitely coming back in fact I need to cone back and see what that haddock fish is hitting for“

One person had the petite lobster and filet one person had the N.Y. strip and onion rings two had the short ribs. There were no complaints about the food. Everything was of perfect quality and generous portions. Our servers Shayde and Sharif were exceptional. Showed up with appetizers and entrees at all the right times.“
