“Absolutely unique and charming. Excellent food, perfectly seasoned, a wide variety of choices, including the best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. There is absolutely nothing fancy here and that’s an important part of its charm. Friendly, helpful staff. We came upon Home Taste accidentally while looking for a different restaurant and I am glad we did. It reminds me of small restaurants in Asian neighborhoods in Toronto. “There's no better Chinese food take-out in Western NY. Great quality and quantity. Best prices. Always served hot and it's double packaged to keep it hot until you get home. We love the Sesame chicken and fantastic boneless spare ribs. We go once or twice a month. Food is always hot and ready before the promised wait period. “The teriyaki chicken at ke’s Kitchen in Buffalo was so good! The chicken was flavorful, tender, and covered in delicious teriyaki sauce. “We've been back to Golden Dragon twice very recently and were quite happy with most items. The menu is huge, so we expect we'll find a lot more to like.

Their lo mein is totally different than when they first opened and I love it now. I got beef the first time, but it comes with very little, so I opted for vegetable the second time. Not a lot of vegetables throughout (mostly on top, as you can see in the photo), but it was really delicious! Both times the lo mein noodles were the perfect firmness and had great flavor. I want it again and again!

Matt didn't enjoy his sesame beef. The batter is too thick, and the beef gets completely lost. I like that they will do sauce on the side. We like to toss it ourselves last minute so that it doesn't get soggy. Better for leftovers, too. They do charge an extra $1.50, but they give you a lot of the sauce.

The wonton soup is amazing! A small is only $3.95 and it comes with five big pork wontons. Makes me happy because I get wonton soup cravings. I'll definitely be getting this again.

The General Tso's Chicken is spot on. The pork egg rolls are good, your typical egg roll. The crab rangoons are also quite good.

Their prices are great and the service has always been friendly. I'm so glad we tried again, they're really close by, makes it very convenient.

“Miss Hot Cafe is going to be your new favorite place. This is my #1 go-to whenever I have visitors in town. The service is always fast, friendly, and we have only once experienced a wait. Our favorite dishes are the Spicy Chili Lamb, Shanghai dumplings, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. “I've been going to China Town for some years now. I used to frequent another local Chinese Take-out but an ownership change brought with it meats I was unable to identify.

I found China Town and haven't looked back. I hardly ever vary my orders, but never tire of the food. The BIG take-away from this place is first, you CAN identify what it is you are eating. That's a huge plus for me. Additionally, they provide a good proportional amount of veggies to their dishes, with generous slices of carrots, full broccoli florets, peas, water chestnuts, etc... So healthy is a thing (and yes, you can, and I have, request less sauce in the food).

Tonight I went against the grain and ordered the boneless ribs and white rice, and VERY satisfied. I usually order Cashew Chicken, which is a top notch mixture of meat, veggies and rice.

The owners may not always have time to be social, but they are hard working and seem to really care about putting out a quality dish. I've never used their sit-down area which is a bit on the sparse side, but that's no reflection on the restaurant.

All told I intend to be a customer as long as possible, and will order from them once or twice a week.“

“I don't fit the typical demographic of their customer. I'm actually a senior 60+,but I am so pleased every single visit. The workers are so very pleasant...and the food is excellent! Portions are very large. I just wish they'd remain open in the summer,but,they close when classes end. Sure wish they'd consider opening a location FULL TIME,probably off campus.“

“Very fast, very yummy Asian-American food at reasonable prices. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

“Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“
