Since moving to the area we’ve ordered from the closest place to us, and while it was always good it was never really amazing for the price. “If I'm ordering chinese, it's Chang Garden. The quality of food never disappoints. I ordered some takeout for my son and his friend, and everything was perfect. The woman at the register was very friendly, and as she handed me my order she slipped a small gift into the bag. It was a beautiful wall scroll calendar for 2026. Unexpected and appreciated. “Only good Chinese restaurant I've found in NY so far. The pork fried rice was actually fried in soy sauce like it should be. The general tso chicken was actually chicken instead of duck and this is the first Chinese restaurant I've seen that cooks the general tso chicken in fresh jalapeños which actually made it hot. Really hot. It was really good. Well worth the $30 I spent and I will be back on payday to do it all over again. The egg fu young was a large serving biggest I've seen. The people were friendly and had no problem answering my odd questions about the fried rice since I've had nothing but bad Chinese in NY until now. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall great restaurant this will be the only Chinese restaurant I eat at while I'm here in NY.“

Theyare the ONLY Chinese restaurant that makes beef and broccoli & crab sticks the the way I like them. ???“

“We've been back to Golden Dragon twice very recently and were quite happy with most items. The menu is huge, so we expect we'll find a lot more to like.

Their lo mein is totally different than when they first opened and I love it now. I got beef the first time, but it comes with very little, so I opted for vegetable the second time. Not a lot of vegetables throughout (mostly on top, as you can see in the photo), but it was really delicious! Both times the lo mein noodles were the perfect firmness and had great flavor. I want it again and again!

Matt didn't enjoy his sesame beef. The batter is too thick, and the beef gets completely lost. I like that they will do sauce on the side. We like to toss it ourselves last minute so that it doesn't get soggy. Better for leftovers, too. They do charge an extra $1.50, but they give you a lot of the sauce.

The wonton soup is amazing! A small is only $3.95 and it comes with five big pork wontons. Makes me happy because I get wonton soup cravings. I'll definitely be getting this again.

The General Tso's Chicken is spot on. The pork egg rolls are good, your typical egg roll. The crab rangoons are also quite good.

Their prices are great and the service has always been friendly. I'm so glad we tried again, they're really close by, makes it very convenient.

“Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“

They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

“Gin Gin might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo! Even as someone who grew up working in Chinese restaurants, Gin Gin has impressed me. First impression, it's an older restaurant, the interior is nothing fancy, but older, which might give the wrong impression but I'm not one to quickly judge until I get my food. So after we sat down, we were given the menu. All Chinese restaurants have a big menu with countless options to choose from, but Gin Gin has by far the largest menu I've ever seen, adding onto the dishes not on the actual menu but posted on the walls. The cool thing is that they serve not just your typical American Chinese food but also some authentic Chinese dishes. So it took me quite some time to decide what to order. I even had to ask the boss for recommendations. She recommended me the Curry Chicken (Chop). Which was unlike the Curry Chicken my family's restaurant used to make or any other restaurant I've been to. The use bone in chicken wing pieces instead of the typical chicken breast/thigh meat. While I do prefer it the typical way, I was down to try something new. The Egg Drop Soup was also great, and it came with a side of Crispy Noodles, which you can add into the soup. But I like dipping it in duck sauce like chips and salsa. The Egg Drop Soup was very flavorful and I believe they use chicken broth/stock instead of just water, which means higher quality! The Beef w Garlic Sauce is something I always love to get when I go to Chinese restaurants, and they made it beautifully. It was full of flavor and better than most Beef w Garlic Sauce I've had. The portions were also great! We left all full and satisfied. Will definitely be back to try other stuff next time!“
