“Always love coming to Golden Hill! This is my fourth time coming here, l've come alone and brought friends too! The service is always wonderful and the restaurant itself is small and peaceful. My go-to dish is the Tom Kar with shrimp, it's comforting and the flavor is delicious. The sautéed string beans are a must, they're seasoned to perfection! Also got the Szechuan style sliced fish and I would recommend if you like spicy food. I’ve also went basic and gotten orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both very satisfying and flavorful! Surprisingly, I've never witnessed it being busy but they're always getting phone calls and preparing takeout orders so l assume that's where most of the business comes from.“

“My favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. I went there about 10 years ago when I moved to Buffalo from Brooklyn. I was heartbroken when they closed down a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when they reopen, and they were as good as ever! The restaurant is small but homey with a friendly staff, I especially enjoy chatting with the older gentleman. The food portion is ample, with sides. I can't recommend this place enough. I drive over 30 minutes to get my food. They have recently implemented a reward system that you signed up for using your email/phone number.I love how they incorporate a special Lenten menu with fish/seafood option for those who prefer those fare this time of the year.“

“Good crab meat rangoons; they are in the triangle shape which I prefer.Sweet and sour sauce is different from what I'm used to, it's more orange than red in color, but tasty.They also have great moo shu chicken. Moo shu can sometimes be hard to find as it's not so common, and this place even has the real wrappers (thin crepe type), as opposed to tortilla shells a lot of places use.Next time I will try to see if they can go a bit light on the sauce, because I feel it could be healthy-ish since its has a lot of cabbage and veg in it.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more things.Parking is very limited and tricky in front, but there's more located along the side.I like that they ask you if you need packets of sauce instead of just giving them to you by default. “This is a very nice place the staff here are so friendly and nice, I remember I was talking to the cashier and we bonded because my name is “Erik” with a “K” and her sons name is Eric with a “C” I remember she told me a story that when she was in Canada going back to the US the border patrol officers name was Erik with a “K” but he said apparently the proper way to spell Eric was with a “C” I don’t know but she was really nice and friendly. The sesame chicken was a little disappointing, some pieces were a little dry and some were hard and very dry. The pieces were all covered nicely with the sauce but still, it was dry. “This restaurant has great reviews and I live nearby so it's a shame it took me this long to go try it. We ordered the chicken hibachi and the bulgogi. Both meals came with a miso soup and rice, the hibachi dinner also had some vegetables with it. All the sides were amazing, the soup was really good, the rice was sticky and delicious and the vegetables were cooked great. The bulgogi was super tender and will definitely be a staple of my future orders. Only complaint about the food was the hibachi chicken was pretty dry. If it had some sauce I think it would've masked it some, but I'm going to try other things on the menu before I give this a second chance. We also had the pork gyoza appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. I tried using its sauce on the hibachi chicken to help alleviate the dryness and it worked a little bit. I unfortunately didn't take pictures of the food, but I do have pictures of the menu so I will share that since all the ones on here are very old. This menu is current as of 3/28/2023. The restaurant has no dine in options currently, they are set up for take out and are quick to make your food. Also the cost of this place may have gone up over the years, but it's a great value for really good food!“

They make everything fresh so it does take a bit longer than your room if the milk Chinese take out joint.They were doing a brisk business as I waited 30-45 minutes for my order as I never got takeout from Lin before. No weird yellow dye fried rice here, it's all very fresh.There is also a small discount for cash orders so I always stop at the ATM before picking up my order.
