“I'm skeptical that this is authentic Chinese food (but I'm not Chinese), however the food is tasty, it fills you up and you get a lot for a relatively low price. If you get the 2 entrees combo with 2 sides, that's dinner for 2 or 3 nights. The Strawberry Slushee was da bomb.“

The service was excellent and the staff were some of the friendliest we’ve come across. The Red Pepper Special was incredible — orange crispy beef and shrimp that were perfectly tender and crispy, packed with bold flavor, and beautifully presented.

“This is the place for authentic traditional Chinese food. Here you’ll find both the classic American Chinese dishes and traditional Chinese dishes. This is it. I only regret not finding this place sooner. The food is amazing. Not a single complaint with the food. Everything was perfect. My favorite is the Stir-Fried Cabbage w. Shrimp in Hot Pot (干锅高丽菜/干锅包菜）and the Cumin Beef (孜然牛). Something I’ll absolutely order again next time. The Fried Yellow Croaker in Hot Sauce (干烧黄鱼) is also great. And that’s coming from a guy who doesn’t like fish. My only complaint is that they were slow to make our food. I get it’s busy, but how are the other tables that came after us getting their food first? They have their table full with multiple dishes but I have yet to get one dish. The interior is simple, with lots of photos of the dishes and their names on the walls, which helps with ordering. Some things to note are that you’ll get a small portion of fried peanuts and kimchi while you wait, you’ll also be served free unlimited tea, and that the rice doesn’t come with the entrees and are extra. They also offer a 10 or 15% discount if you pay in cash.“

“The BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had! If you are even considering ordering Chinese food, order from Golden Wok. The rice is authentic and flavorful. The orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken are saucy with the perfect amount of spice, flavor, and veggies. The crab rangoons are crispy perfection and the egg rolls are crunchy and delicious. The portion size is enough to have leftovers and the food is so good that I don't ever want to order from any other Chinese food restaurant. “Gin Gin might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Buffalo! Even as someone who grew up working in Chinese restaurants, Gin Gin has impressed me. First impression, it's an older restaurant, the interior is nothing fancy, but older, which might give the wrong impression but I'm not one to quickly judge until I get my food. So after we sat down, we were given the menu. All Chinese restaurants have a big menu with countless options to choose from, but Gin Gin has by far the largest menu I've ever seen, adding onto the dishes not on the actual menu but posted on the walls. The cool thing is that they serve not just your typical American Chinese food but also some authentic Chinese dishes. So it took me quite some time to decide what to order. I even had to ask the boss for recommendations. She recommended me the Curry Chicken (Chop). Which was unlike the Curry Chicken my family's restaurant used to make or any other restaurant I've been to. The use bone in chicken wing pieces instead of the typical chicken breast/thigh meat. While I do prefer it the typical way, I was down to try something new. The Egg Drop Soup was also great, and it came with a side of Crispy Noodles, which you can add into the soup. But I like dipping it in duck sauce like chips and salsa. The Egg Drop Soup was very flavorful and I believe they use chicken broth/stock instead of just water, which means higher quality! The Beef w Garlic Sauce is something I always love to get when I go to Chinese restaurants, and they made it beautifully. It was full of flavor and better than most Beef w Garlic Sauce I've had. The portions were also great! We left all full and satisfied. Will definitely be back to try other stuff next time!“

“We tried Lee’s for first time tonight. It’s a small mom & pop Chinese restaurant that I think is fairly new to the area. The food was fresh, tasted great and the service was fast and friendly! Recommended!“

“I love authentic Chinese food and seek it out when traveling. So, when in the area recently I did some research and this place came up as being probably the most authentic in the Buffalo and Niagara areas, so I went for lunch. Sure enough, their menu is legit, filled with many of the recognizable delicacies you won’t find at the ordinary Chinese-American joints.

Entering the place is odd, they have a weather barrier (those plastic slats) hanging from the door after you open the glass door – very odd placement of them. Inside is rather small and simple, not decorated much, it’s truly a carry-out place that provides table service too. Service was decent, far from fancy.

I decided to try their cumin beef and an order of scallion pancakes. The cumin beef came out first and though I asked for it to be spicy, it most definitely was very mild. The flavor was a little bland overall and this is typically a dry-wok’d type of stir fry with more oil and less sauce, but mine was slightly saucy and lacking flavor completely. The scallion pancakes looked and tasted decent.

Perhaps if I ordered something different I would have enjoyed the food more. I still recommend stopping in if you’re seeking authentic Chinese, I’m sure they have some great dishes here.“

“We finally found a good Chinese Restaurant. Our menu choices were Chicken and broccoli, Egg Fu Yung, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Great taste, and great portion size for the price. Clean and friendly!“

“We've been back to Golden Dragon twice very recently and were quite happy with most items. The menu is huge, so we expect we'll find a lot more to like.

Their lo mein is totally different than when they first opened and I love it now. I got beef the first time, but it comes with very little, so I opted for vegetable the second time. Not a lot of vegetables throughout (mostly on top, as you can see in the photo), but it was really delicious! Both times the lo mein noodles were the perfect firmness and had great flavor. I want it again and again!

Matt didn't enjoy his sesame beef. The batter is too thick, and the beef gets completely lost. I like that they will do sauce on the side. We like to toss it ourselves last minute so that it doesn't get soggy. Better for leftovers, too. They do charge an extra $1.50, but they give you a lot of the sauce.

The wonton soup is amazing! A small is only $3.95 and it comes with five big pork wontons. Makes me happy because I get wonton soup cravings. I'll definitely be getting this again.

The General Tso's Chicken is spot on. The pork egg rolls are good, your typical egg roll. The crab rangoons are also quite good.

Their prices are great and the service has always been friendly. I'm so glad we tried again, they're really close by, makes it very convenient.

It was great, quick and exactly what you except. I love their wonton soup, normally I never even eat wontons, I get it for the broth but their wontons are very good. Crab Rangoons are triangle shaped which I prefer over the sharp ones that most places have. They used to give sweet tea I was never really sure why but I love sweet tea so I’m not gonna question it but the last time we went they started giving out water bottles which is still nice but I prefer the tea.“

“I've been going to China Town for some years now. I used to frequent another local Chinese Take-out but an ownership change brought with it meats I was unable to identify.

I found China Town and haven't looked back. I hardly ever vary my orders, but never tire of the food. The BIG take-away from this place is first, you CAN identify what it is you are eating. That's a huge plus for me. Additionally, they provide a good proportional amount of veggies to their dishes, with generous slices of carrots, full broccoli florets, peas, water chestnuts, etc... So healthy is a thing (and yes, you can, and I have, request less sauce in the food).

Tonight I went against the grain and ordered the boneless ribs and white rice, and VERY satisfied. I usually order Cashew Chicken, which is a top notch mixture of meat, veggies and rice.

The owners may not always have time to be social, but they are hard working and seem to really care about putting out a quality dish. I've never used their sit-down area which is a bit on the sparse side, but that's no reflection on the restaurant.

All told I intend to be a customer as long as possible, and will order from them once or twice a week.“
