Went there for dinner for the first time tonight and it was excellent. Sucks they don't deliver to Niagara Falls but I get it, its far. I wish I would've had a piece of cheesecake to go. It looked so good! Might make a trip and grab a piece and eat it at home lol. Great food!
We received our egg rolls before our lunch, when I bit into mine it was full of oil, so much so that it ran down my hands and onto the plate. My sesame chicken was bland.
We heard so many good things from friends and coworkers and we were both disappointed in the food.
Had you asked me over the past 53 yrs if I recommended Happy Jack's in Ft. Erie, the answer would have been an emphatic, 'Yes!' After tonight, never again. Decided to go to Ft. Erie for Happy Jack's and a little shopping. Got to the restaurant after getting over the Peace Bridge and was seated way in the back corner. The river side outdoor patio is a highlight, providing a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Peace Bridge and the Niagara River. The service is commendable, with attentive staff taking care of you immediately and continuously. The food is served hot and delicious, and the service is #1. Happy Jack's is the best chinese restaurant in the entire Niagara Region, beating many other cities. Outstanding meals include mushroom fried rice, mixed vegetables with almonds, and sweet and sour chicken. The restrooms upstairs could use some attention for cleaning and remodeling.
