Attentive answered any and all questions and had us laughing the whole time! The young lady at the hostess stand was amazing as well. She never missed a step even as the people kept coming. Cora (oh I hope I spelled that right) was also an absolute delight! She was so sweet and friendly and just handled everything so gracefully. “Went for dinner on Easter Sunday, Staff was great and atmosphere as always top shelf. My wife had filet it was perfect, I had rack of lamb, but it was not a rack but 2 rack bones with 3 inches of meat hanging off, I could not even cut the meat with a steak knife, had to send it back to be cut. beware when you order a rack $70“

“Had the best dinner out in a very long time. Sea Bass special. Not sure I would have ordered it if the dish was written out. Too many things added in that I ultimately didn't know what they were. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. The green was a fantastic pesto tinged super flavorful sauce and the topping was a grand mix of sweet, savory and nut crunch, a fantastic meal.“

One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. “We stopped in on a mid-Saturday morning. We first heard of them via the Buffalo Cafe Passport. It was extremely busy, but the sandwiches were worth the wait. I had a Nina on a pretzel, and the wife had the Ailia on a bagel, both with hash browns on the side, and they were delicious! We also got a Giant Cinnamon Roll to enjoy at home. The coffee is Tipico, a locally roasted brew we have enjoyed before. The next time we come, we will likely come earlier in the morning, and order online first.“

“We just enjoyed a wonderful Breakfast with Santa at The Tewksbury Lodge for the third year in a row. Everything was amazing! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. Our granddaughters, 5 & 3 yrs old were so excited. Santa greeted all the kids as he entered, and then was so sweet and kind to the all the kids as they were called up, by table, to visit with him at his special chair. Each child received a bag of goodies. You could feel the magic in the air and on the smiles of the kids, parents and grandparents. The Tewksbury Lodge has this breakfast down to a science, systematic and efficient while not rushing at all. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas experience! We'll definitely be back next year! Absolutely the best food in Buffalo and our favorite hands down Italian restaurant with the best meatballs I ever had besides my grandma's, that I haven't had since she passed, so these are now the best I can get. The menu is great with something for everyone and whatever you're in the mood for from flatbread pizza to homemade pasta with the most amazing sauces, delicious salads, fantastic steak and the freshest Italian desserts. if you can save room. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. Between the original juke box loaded with the best of my memories from the 90's, to the pool table and the well poured drinks, I will forever recommend a down and dirty pop in to Essex St. Pub. I ordered the southwestern burrito with pepper jack cheese. It came out delicious. That plate comes by the side potatoes and toast. I got the rye. My son had the two eggs over easy and he said it was delicious. My daughter had the same thing I did. The portions were large enough that we could take home. As we looked up, we saw family members come in sat down and enjoyed breakfast alongside. It was a delightful experience. Can't wait to get back.“

We had an amazing experience at Downtown Bazaar trying the Thai food stall—absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The green curry was rich, aromatic, and comforting, with tender chicken and just the right amount of heat.

The service was warm and friendly, and the food was served quickly and piping hot. You can tell they care about quality and authenticity. The portions were generous, and prices very reasonable for downtown.
