We we're the first ones there at 4 pm on a friday. 3 other tables were seated after us, and were served before us. The waitress apologized several times and said there were a lot of take out orders and they were finishing ours and it still didn't come out. It got very busy and only 1 waitress on.“

“I was once stationed at a military base close to the Mexican border and sampled some amazing Mexican cuisine. I now live in the greater Buffalo area, and have tried many of its so called Mexican restaurant that to my mind were just a tad better than eating at Taco Bell. I recently dined at a restaurant in Cheektowaga call Taqueria Los Mayas… and let me tell you… their food is as close to actually eating in Mexico as you can get. The portions are very generous, and the prices fair. Totally enjoyed the experience.“

Attentive answered any and all questions and had us laughing the whole time! The young lady at the hostess stand was amazing as well. She never missed a step even as the people kept coming. Cora (oh I hope I spelled that right) was also an absolute delight! She was so sweet and friendly and just handled everything so gracefully. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. My wife had filet it was perfect, I had rack of lamb, but it was not a rack but 2 rack bones with 3 inches of meat hanging off, I could not even cut the meat with a steak knife, had to send it back to be cut. beware when you order a rack $70“

“The Buffalo Tikka Indian restaurant in downtown Buffalo is open despite some major construction on Main Street where it resides. And that is good news! The food is excellent. As someone who loves his curry I can recommend the Veggie Vindaloo. As with all of the dishes the vindaloo can be prepared mild or spicy. And the spicy incarnation will prompt some perspiration on one's scalp without detracting from the taste. Vindaloo is my favourite Indian dish and this mixed vegetable dish in vindaloo sauce is very, very good. My wife and kids loved the Aloo Palak and the Somosas. They also sampled the Mango and Blueberry Lassis. The only thing missing was alcohol: Tikka does not stock Taj Mahal or any other adult beverage. As a fan of Taj I would have appreciated a cold beer to accompany the food. That said, the service is very good, the prices reasonable and the food delicious. It is somewhat tricky to find parking and to navigate the construction but worth the effort. The restaurant also offers delivery for those not inclined to drive down busy Main Street.“
