“I was once stationed at a military base close to the Mexican border and sampled some amazing Mexican cuisine. I now live in the greater Buffalo area, and have tried many of its so called Mexican restaurant that to my mind were just a tad better than eating at Taco Bell. I recently dined at a restaurant in Cheektowaga call Taqueria Los Mayas… and let me tell you… their food is as close to actually eating in Mexico as you can get. The portions are very generous, and the prices fair. Totally enjoyed the experience.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden, and a big part of that was our server, Tina. She greeted us with a genuine smile, was quick to bring out the breadsticks and drinks, and checked in at just the right moments without ever feeling rushed or hovering. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out hot and exactly how we ordered it.

The food was delicious as always, but Tina's friendly, attentive service is what really stood out. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel this welcome. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Tina!“

Most recent, the sides were smaller than usual ( Mac salad & coleslaw) it threw me off a bit but I’ll still come here based on the quality and service! I’ve had the same meal 10x plus. “I got something very small. I got a chicken bowlito, with nacho cheese, and mild sauce! I also got a zero Pepsi as well! One thing I want to note is, I love how this is designed to look like an old fast food chain! I love how spacious it is as well! No other chain is like this! My food is pretty good! It just looks like they need to take care of some trays sitting across from me. I absolutely LOVE this place!“

Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. “The Buffalo Tikka Indian restaurant in downtown Buffalo is open despite some major construction on Main Street where it resides. And that is good news! The food is excellent. As someone who loves his curry I can recommend the Veggie Vindaloo. As with all of the dishes the vindaloo can be prepared mild or spicy. And the spicy incarnation will prompt some perspiration on one's scalp without detracting from the taste. Vindaloo is my favourite Indian dish and this mixed vegetable dish in vindaloo sauce is very, very good. My wife and kids loved the Aloo Palak and the Somosas. They also sampled the Mango and Blueberry Lassis. The only thing missing was alcohol: Tikka does not stock Taj Mahal or any other adult beverage. As a fan of Taj I would have appreciated a cold beer to accompany the food. That said, the service is very good, the prices reasonable and the food delicious. It is somewhat tricky to find parking and to navigate the construction but worth the effort. The restaurant also offers delivery for those not inclined to drive down busy Main Street.“
