Like most fast food, Chik Fil A is very consistent from location to location- perhaps a bit more so than McDonald’s/Burger King. I’m guessing corporate policy and directives makes that a point when it comes to training staff.

Food is decent. Simple and consistent. Staff is polite. For the frequent lines I’ve never seen a Fast food chain that has such a well oiled system to move said line- which is great for the customer. Maybe because it seems they don’t purposely cut labor to increase profits at the expense of quality.

“We had a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden, and a big part of that was our server, Tina. She greeted us with a genuine smile, was quick to bring out the breadsticks and drinks, and checked in at just the right moments without ever feeling rushed or hovering. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out hot and exactly how we ordered it.

The food was delicious as always, but Tina's friendly, attentive service is what really stood out. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel this welcome. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Tina!“

“My husband and I had dinner here last weekend for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is fantastic. Warm chill vibe and everyone is so pleased to be there. Our waiter Johnathan was AMAZING! Attentive answered any and all questions and had us laughing the whole time! The young lady at the hostess stand was amazing as well. She never missed a step even as the people kept coming. Cora (oh I hope I spelled that right) was also an absolute delight! She was so sweet and friendly and just handled everything so gracefully. “Good evening! I could not go to bed tonight without acknowledging the fabulous service my two friends and I received at the Acropolis on Main Street. Our server Anthony C was outstanding! All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. You are blessed and lucky to have some like him on your team. We do a monthly dinner on Main Street and are already planning on coming back to Acropolis for our September dinner (if we can find out when Anthony C is working!) “Our server, Danielle, made the night great. She was knowledgeable, gave us great service and food recommendations and is the primary reason for the 5 star rating.
We went to see the band ‘Too Yacht to Handle’ with Amy Frost and Scott Celini. The band was great, too and the venue felt intimate. My friend ordered a salad (huge!) she loved-vanilla infused dressing. I had fish tacos (though I wish I would have followed Danielle’s advice and gone with steak flatbread). Tacos were ok-sweet potato fries were super yummy.
This was my first time, but we will be back!“

“Let me tell you how amazing The Riverfield is! We had our twins baptism dinner here in the backroom and had the absolute best experience ever from start to finish! Allison made everything so simple and easy for me to plan with her to celebrate our boys with family and friends. She was extremely accommodating with all our requests, as we had some with food allergies. The room is gorgeous and perfect even better his had an outdoor space with a view! The kids loved being able to run around outside. The food was so good you have to have seconds! The slow roasted beef brisket is a dream that you will crave over and over again on top of their roasted potatoes. Don’t let that statement fool you, all the food was delish so make sure your try it all and get seconds. Hats off to the Chef! The atmosphere was perfect. Before we even left I told my husband we will be having another party here for sure! Thank you Allison and The Riverfield 865 for helping us create a beautiful celebration and memory for our family! “Everything I've ever tried at Mayback's has been delicious. From the breakfast pizza to the regular pizza. This is one of the only places in the 716 that makes good chicken fingers (the honey mustard ones are divine) and a good cheese steak. The fish fry is the best I've had in years. If you want a real treat try the turkey sub with pickles and extra meat. The freshest salads I've ever had. Food is amazing, prices are great, and everyone who works there is friendly. They've got something for everyone. Easily my favorite place to get food in Buffalo.“

“Lola’s Bakeshop at The Lunch Box, inside the Lafayette Court Building, has the best pastries, cookies, and other baked goods. They always have top notch standards, like chocolate chip and peanut butter, but they also offer creative options like London Fog Lavender cookies or Dubai Chocolate Pistachio brownies. Also amazing gluten free options. The Lunch Box makes one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had.“

“We drove all the way from Mississauga, Ontario, to visit Olive Garden in Buffalo, and it was absolutely worth the trip!

A special thank you to our server, Alexis, for making our visit such a great experience. We were a group of 11, and despite everyone arriving hungry, she handled everything with incredible kindness, patience, and efficiency. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the meal. It’s not easy serving a large group, but Alexis made it look effortless.

The food was excellent as well. I highly recommend the Stuffed Chicken and the Never-Ending Pasta—both were delicious and definitely worth trying.

“I've only had a handful of poor experiences here since the day they opened the (original) restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. Disappointing overall experience.“

Most of the restaurants in Western New York should take training from these student chefs and servers who are training to be in the profession of culinary arts. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the entire presentation and culinary experience. As food connoisseurs and travelers across the country, visiting different food establishments, I am proud and honored to call this place part of our hometown. I'm honored that my daughter is also graduating from Buffalo State College.“

“I can say enough about this restaurant! From the moment we walked in the staff and atmosphere was outstanding. We ordered our food and literally within 15-20min. our food was served fresh and hot. This place cooks all of there food with no seed oils and almost all of it is gluten free! It was very well put together, not messy and best of all the taste was absolutely amazing! Our visit was only disappointing in the fact that we had to leave. I don’t eat out often but the last 2 times I’ve chosen Olive Garden on Transit and do not regret it at all.
