We were immediately greeted upon entering and taken right to our table where there was a card from the staff saying congratulations as I entered a reason online as to why we're dining there that night; which was such a great personal touch. “We had drinks at the bar that were unique and tasty! I loved the refreshing limoncella drink that was made from prosecco and fresh lemon We had a party of six so there were many dishes ordered. All of them were delicious and housemade... the serving sizes were not overly generous for the price, but they were very flavorful and well presented. Our server was not overly attentive to our table... we rarely saw her... We ordered the calamari appetizer plate... it was lightly breaded and served with a light sweet sauce. Very good... the bread that was served to the table was excellent... the foccacia had a crisp outer crust and chewy interior... it was beautiful! We did have to pay for the bread... they don't give bread to each table, had to be ordered. A ravioli dish was ordered and was excellent... it did need some extra parmesan cheese to make it perfect... The shortrib rigatoni bolonese was served in a pasta bowl and had meaty flavor with a very nice sauce. It also needed a shredding of parmesan as did all the pasta dishes... we had to flag someone down to get this... The halibut was thick and flaky, served on a bed of cous cous and was fresh and cooked perfectly... The lamb chops were served with a green pesto sauce and came on a bed of cous cous as well with some raisins and carrots mixed in. Very tender and cooked perfectly to medium... Another table mate ordered the spaghetti and thought it was very good, generous portion and was completely satisfied The desserts we ordered were the house made doughnut holes with the dipping sauces, Creme Brule, and a cannoli... the cannoli was the winner of the desserts with a crisp shell, generous filling that was neither too sweet nor soggy... there were slivered almonds on one end and chocolate curls on the other with additional dollops of cannoli filling on the plate Yum,yum!!! This is a very good special occasion restaurant!“

Other restaurants bring me mild. When it came out here it was spot on. Hot, made me sniffle and I loved every bite. This is not my first visit here and it won't be my last.“

“I love Giancarlo’s! We always get the arancini for an app. For the first time we got the salad with the goat cheese and pine nuts, and the 8oz filet. Everything was perfect. The raspberry martini is my favorite drink there!!! Our server was Jake and he was exceptional! If I’m being honest this was our 4th time dining there and every time the food and service have been phenomenal! I’m already looking forward to the next time.“

“Found this place on a Yelp search for Indian food in Buffalo. One final meal before our return trip home. We got there around 4:00 pm on a Tuesday and the place was empty. The server brought us to a table by the front window, which was very nice. We first ordered a Vegetable Samosa to share. The server brought us the dish, which is two nice size samosas that were perfect for sharing one each as an appetizer. The pastry was fried nicely, with each bite starting with a crunch followed by tender inner pastry. The filling of potato and peas was ample. My partner ordered Lamb Curry and I ordered Saag Paneer. My partner liked the heat of her dish (she ordered "medium", one of the two options offered - medium or spicy.). The lamb was cooked nicely and had a good flavor. The curry sauce was nicely spiced, but not overpowering. The Saag Paneer (also ordered medium) included large chunks of paneer and was nicely spiced. I'm thinking that if I had ordered it Spicy that I may not have been able to eat it. This was plenty spicy. The orders came with a large plate of well prepared basmati rice, which we could have requested more of but it was plenty. We also ordered a garlic naan, which was a single naan bread cut into four pieces. Each piece had chunks of garlic throughout and was very good. We told the server that we were just passing through town and probably wouldn't be back in the area. So, we were surprised when he brought the check and gave each of us a complementary serving of rice pudding. I'm not usually a fan of rice pudding because it either doesn't have much flavor or is too watery. This dessert suffered from neither of those things. It was delicious.“

The breakfast sandwich was really good and had a nice bun with a really good sauce but the bacon was kinda chewy and hard to cut through. Still would recommend it. Coffee was robust but not bitter and was served at the perfect temperature one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The decor is very coffee shop-esq. It’s cool that it’s kinda out in the country side - it gives it a comfier feel. It would be nicer if it was a little less crowded and you didn’t have to yell to talk. The music was questionable. It seemed like they had enough staff which you don’t see anywhere nowadays. They were also quick and friendly.“

The portion was large and I ended up getting a take home box. Enjoyed the lamb, chicken souvlaki more than the beef. Brown rice and a side salad with blue cheese dressing. “I got the crab Rangoon’s, the miso soup, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura roll, coral roll, and the ocean roll. The crab rangoons were great, perfect filling and size, probably the best I’ve ever had. The rolls were great! Especially the coral, probably the best roll of the bunch! The ocean roll was a little disappointing, way too much cucumber. I know the excess cucumber is to fill you up with a cheap ingredient but when it feels like you are eating straight cucumber that means you’ve gone too far. For an ayce I’d say they weren’t too conservative with their fish which I do appreciate.The miso soup was also a bit watery.Overall for the price ($17) it was a good enough deal and it was better than many of the other all you can sushi places I have reviewed.Lastly want to shout out our wonderful waitress, didn’t get her name but she had pink eyebrows and did a wonderful job!“

My ride or die order is the #6 (pulled pork slapped onto a phenomenal burger) with a side caesar salad (always so fresh and flavorful). “We stumbled upon this place when heading back to our AirBnB after a long day visiting Niagara Falls. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but it’s very dark so hard to see and the booths are tight. There was also no AC. We got the Burrata for an appetizer and it was mediocre. For our meals we got the shrimp poyboy which came with delicious sweet potato fries that had a honey glaze and the salmon which came with jambalaya, which my mom really enjoyed. (She is hard to please when it comes to food) My dad got the seafood stew which had good flavors but the seafood was all overcooked. My sister had the seasonal salad which she finished. (She never finishes her meals) We also got the Mac and cheese side and it was pretty good. Overall, it was a pretty good restaurant but I’m not sure if I would recommend it“
