Arguably the best restaurant in Buffalo
Our first time in Buffalo we did not know what to expect. Our first restaurant (which had great reviews online so what a disappointment) -we waited too long for the waitress to come by. We decided to try Lombardo’s and what an experience. From the time we entered the parking lot, the guy that greeted us was very welcoming, our host who I think owns the restaurant went over and beyond to find us a table as expediently as possible. Lombardo is one of the very best high-end restaurants in Buffalo, offering a sophisticated Italian menu. The service is impeccable, with an attentive maître d’, coat check, and valet parking. The dining rooms, both inside and the closed patio, have lovely interior seating. The food is excellent; popular dishes include the lobster mascarpone ravioli, the 8oz filet mignon with thin delicious potatoes, and tender scallops. A guest enjoyed the Sicilian food & wine tasting, with hearty five-cheese arancini and perfectly cooked Zuppa di Pesce with broth to die for, ending with a decadent chocolate gelato. The ambiance is top-tier, and a birthday card on the table signed by all employees is a classic touch that elevates the experience. The charming, professional, and friendly service makes for a wonderful birthday experience. Lombardo truly hosts a NYC-esque dining experience and is absolutely one of the favorite fine dining restaurants in Buffalo.
