“This place is a hidden gem. The prices can’t be beat, period. $6 pizza on Wednesdays and it’s GOOD! $6 subs on Thursday?! Where else can you find that? Drinks are MORE than reasonable all day everyday and the weekend specials are unheard of. Large and 20 for under $30. Only gripe is the manager, but he’s rarely around. The bar staff is wonderful!“

“I feel compelled to write this review because I've had Chinese
food before but never at this place until yesterday. Hands down the best General Tso's chicken I've ever had ! Most other places give you mostly coating where this had lots of real chicken and was cooked to perfection. The shrimp fried rice had bigger shrimp in it than most places and a lot of it and was very, very good. Also I must comment on the Wonton soup... very flavorful and fresh ... not just 2 wontons in some luke warm chicken broth but 3 big wontons in some real chicken stock with what looked like scallions and some strips of pork too. I'm sure whatever you order from this place will be outstandingly good.“

Pro:
1. It is very cheap, I mean averagely you only spend $20 or even less for one dish. And good portion.
2. It is a classic Chinese flavor, not too spicy, not overly sweet. Just good.
Cons:
1. It is quite small. You may need to wait long if you come at rush hour.
2. Not many choices, I order like 15 dishes one time and that's basically everything they have

Cheap, good taste, and really warm service. I have to say I don't usually pay extra tips. But this is an exception. I hope they have good business.“

We had the crab dumplings, bbq pork bun, chicken fried rice, vege dumplings, pork dumplings. However the service was a bit lacking and there was no ice for drinks. We got there at 1pm and were probably finished eating at around 3pm. But it took forever to get someone to take our order and then no one ever checked on us or came to cash us out. We had to get up to the register and ask for our bill.“

The honey chicken was absolutely delicious and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a perfectly balanced sweet and savory sauce. The service was outstanding, especially from the woman who helped me with my takeout. The interior of the restaurant was quite appealing and exceptionally clean, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend Wok and Roll to anyone looking for great Chinese cuisine with excellent service.

“I have been "chasing a high" of crispy General Tso's with a specific style sauce and fried rice for a handful of years. I came across this location and had to try the General Tso's. NIRVANA! I had finally found the sauce/crispy combo I had been searching for that I was used to eating growing up in Eastern Erie County. The staff are nice, food is quick and I like sitting at the table looking out the window while I enjoy lunch. It's one dish, to my preferences, but I'd recommend you trying it!“

After 3pm they serve out bbq pork ribs and a few other good meats. The ribs aren’t that tender but they get the job done, they do go light on the bbq sauce but you can ask the woman on the grill and she’ll serve you more.

“Placed a take out order about 8pm tonight, 7/23/24. Crispy sesame chicken, Beef LoMein, egg roll, spring roll, delightful three in brown sauce. The meat in both the beef LoMein and the Crispy Sesame Chicken was amazingly tender . All of the food was very well prepared, fantastic meal. It is a pleasure to pay for quality, so often meals miss the mark when you order out in general. This was an excellent, high quality meal! I will be back. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

The food comes in big portions for what you pay even the egg rolls are huge! Like whoa 10/10 and great atmosphere very homey. Will definitely be dining here again! “Just moved here. Gave them a try and was pleasantly surprised. I’d say very good on price, freshness, and speed. Fresh shrimp, chicken, and vegetables.

Chicken chow mein was clean, healthy, and had great flavor. Not the typical heavy thick and viscous variety.

Shrimp with mixed vegetables with brown sauce was plentiful for $12.43.

The wonton soup was also tasty. Their interior is not really a sit down/ dine in spot, and could use a make over if they were pursuing that business. For take out I’d come again.“
