“I’ve been here a number of times. I’ve never been disappointed. The first time, I expected it to be like any other American style Chinese restaurant. I soon found that it was levels above that. The owner/chef takes a lot of pride in his product. He is also extremely friendly.

All of the menu items are elevated above your typical Chinese restaurant, but I normally get the Szechuan Chicken. It has nice, complex flavors.

The fried rice is also outstanding. Tastes like a very home style version, as if he was making for his family.

On occasion and if you ask, he has a small Korean menu. The Jaampong is really good and a healthy portion.

Overall, you can’t go wrong here. So happy this place exists as a better option for lunch.“

Red Pepper Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine continues to prove why it's a standout dining spot! We went in with high expectations and every single dish delivered on flavor, freshness, and quality.
We ordered the House Pho, Spicy Beef, and the House Chow Mein. The House Pho was pure comfort in a bowl—the broth was wonderfully aromatic, deep, and rich, packed with generous portions of tender meat and fresh noodles. The Spicy Beef had fantastic kick and tender cuts of meat tossed with crisp vegetables, while the House Chow Mein was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right without being greasy, and loaded with savory flavor.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was truly excellent. They even added free oranges as a healthy dessert!

The staff were warm, welcoming, and fast, making sure our table had everything we needed from start to finish.

There is absolutely nothing fancy here and that’s an important part of its charm. Friendly, helpful staff. We came upon Home Taste accidentally while looking for a different restaurant and I am glad we did. It reminds me of small restaurants in Asian neighborhoods in Toronto. It was our first time there in a few years but this mix up was unacceptable without any offer of compensation. Our server just kept apologizing. She was also taking care of way too many tables and was not as attentive as she should have been. My water was not refilled until after I called her over, she never came to check how our meal was. With the cost of food these days I would expect much better service.“

“We've been back to Golden Dragon twice very recently and were quite happy with most items. The menu is huge, so we expect we'll find a lot more to like.

Their lo mein is totally different than when they first opened and I love it now. I got beef the first time, but it comes with very little, so I opted for vegetable the second time. Not a lot of vegetables throughout (mostly on top, as you can see in the photo), but it was really delicious! Both times the lo mein noodles were the perfect firmness and had great flavor. I want it again and again!

Matt didn't enjoy his sesame beef. The batter is too thick, and the beef gets completely lost. I like that they will do sauce on the side. We like to toss it ourselves last minute so that it doesn't get soggy. Better for leftovers, too. They do charge an extra $1.50, but they give you a lot of the sauce.

The wonton soup is amazing! A small is only $3.95 and it comes with five big pork wontons. Makes me happy because I get wonton soup cravings. I'll definitely be getting this again.

The General Tso's Chicken is spot on. The pork egg rolls are good, your typical egg roll. The crab rangoons are also quite good.

Their prices are great and the service has always been friendly. I'm so glad we tried again, they're really close by, makes it very convenient.

“I've been going to China Town for some years now. I used to frequent another local Chinese Take-out but an ownership change brought with it meats I was unable to identify.

I found China Town and haven't looked back. I hardly ever vary my orders, but never tire of the food. The BIG take-away from this place is first, you CAN identify what it is you are eating. That's a huge plus for me. Additionally, they provide a good proportional amount of veggies to their dishes, with generous slices of carrots, full broccoli florets, peas, water chestnuts, etc... So healthy is a thing (and yes, you can, and I have, request less sauce in the food).

Tonight I went against the grain and ordered the boneless ribs and white rice, and VERY satisfied. I usually order Cashew Chicken, which is a top notch mixture of meat, veggies and rice.

The owners may not always have time to be social, but they are hard working and seem to really care about putting out a quality dish. I've never used their sit-down area which is a bit on the sparse side, but that's no reflection on the restaurant.

All told I intend to be a customer as long as possible, and will order from them once or twice a week.“
