“My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences ever last night. We’ve been to Lucia’s previously and if you’re not aware, it’s best to make reservations well in advance when you want to go. Anticipating our 32nd wedding anniversary, we tried to make reservations weeks in advance but nothing was available on Open Table however the stars aligned yesterday afternoon! Thankfully, we selected the notify me option and a spot opened last night!! When we checked in, we were warmly greeted by Jill with Happy Anniversary”! We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail at the outside bar. My wife had a lemon martini followed by a French 75. I had an Eagle Rare Old Fashioned. All perfectly crafted by highly attentive bar tenders. When we went to our table, not only did the person who seated us but the busser & server all acknowledged it was our anniversary! For dinner, we had crab risotto and lobster ravioli, both topped with an 8 oz perfectly grilled filet. An abundance of crab and lobster meat on both dishes. Thomas, our server, was extremely articulate, highly knowledgeable of each dish, their preparation and made excellent suggestions. He made the evening a delight! Lastly, we had creme brûlée for dessert! I can’t say enough, Lucia’s is a first class dining experience, top to bottom!! Kudos to the entire staff!!“

“Due to Covid restrictions Jovi's hadn't been opened for awhile. Went on a Friday night. The restaurant was at 50% capacity and every table was full. They have changed their menu, which I found very interesting. I ordered the special of shrimp and lemon ricotta pasta with tomatoes and red peppers $23. I asked for it to be served without tomatoes. When the server brought my food which seemed to take awhile, she said "oh, I forgot no tomatoes." There weren't any red peppers but a boat load of tomatoes. I didn't want to wait for my food while the other guests were eating so as to why I didn't send it back. The 4 pieces of shrimp still had the tails on which I thought was odd in a pasta dish, but the pasta was very good. It seems that Jovi's is working out some issues after being closed due to the covid restrictions. I'll probably give them another chance, hope they're able to get their flow going again.“

Absolutely the best food in Buffalo and our favorite hands down Italian restaurant with the best meatballs I ever had besides my grandma's, that I haven't had since she passed, so these are now the best I can get. The menu is great with something for everyone and whatever you're in the mood for from flatbread pizza to homemade pasta with the most amazing sauces, delicious salads, fantastic steak and the freshest Italian desserts. if you can save room. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. “Had the best dinner out in a very long time. Sea Bass special. Not sure I would have ordered it if the dish was written out. Too many things added in that I ultimately didn't know what they were. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. The green was a fantastic pesto tinged super flavorful sauce and the topping was a grand mix of sweet, savory and nut crunch, a fantastic meal.“

Everything went off without a hitch and that is not something you can say often when it comes to events like this. Tori, our server, was just as amazing. Attentive, kind, on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. She made sure we were taken care of every step of the way and brought such a great energy to the day. The food, the atmosphere, the service, all of it was top tier. You can tell this team takes so much pride in what they do and it shows in every single detail. “I used to live near there and ate there regularly. Moved away 10 years ago, but was back in the area and had to stop in. The food is as good as it always was. Hubby had to have the fried chicken, his favorite! The food was good, the service friendly and attentive...we'll have to go back again!“

“We ordered through GrubHub last night. Incredibly good food and the portion sizes are unreal. We did the BOGO deal with Fettuccini Tenderloin. Side salad, garlic bread, etc. We had a problem with the system, so I called for clarification. Whoever the gentleman was the answered last night (3/6/26 around 5:45pm) was awesome to deal with and very friendly. We’ll definitely order from here again and hopefully dine in soon, too. 🍝“
