“Was hungry after a long day of foraging. To my left I discovered common ground to my pleasure. A fellow Patron had shared the same unbeaten paths as I on the plains of Eastern europe.Lana, our hostess, what can I say about them. Complex and simple, willing to lend an ear, while, also attending to fellow patrons. If only the world could be so accommodating. At least Bridge 12 is. Keep it up.“
“Enjoyed a staff Christmas party here. Service was efficient, and they were able to cater to my complicated dietary needs. The atmosphere was great, despite the extremely loud table beside outs (though not the restaurant's fault). Would love to revisit once my dietary restrictions are not so... restricted!Dietary restrictions: I only eat meat, and they were able to cater to this for a very reasonable price.“
“We traveled to Ontario for the April 8 eclipse. Of the five evening restaurant meals we had, The Irish Harp was the best, besting others that were highly rated and much pricier. Hearty, delicious, hot, and a good value. The live entertainment on Monday a bonus.“
“This was our first time. Im not a beer drinker and they had a great selection of other options. Food was delicious and service awesome! Definitely a favourite local find!UPDATE: 2024... this has become our go to local spot for yummy food and great service. The various theme nights weekly are great. A huge patio in summer is really awesome.“
“Some of the best food I have had out in a very long time. I would highly recommend ordering the Taste Of Ireland which features smaller portions of menu items. I had a mini Chicken pot pie, curry, and a Shepard's pie. It was all phenomenal. Will definitely be returning on my next falls trip.“
“We love the squire! Great food and even better service. Lauren is awesome! Felt bad for the staff tonight as some customers (despite witnessing it for themselves) were oblivious to the fact that it’s Good Friday and they were PACKED. They were doing the best they could all while maintaining a great attitude! I was informed immediately when I arrived (8pm) that they were out of fish and the kitchen was behind. We had no problem enjoying our drinks knowing the food was going to be worth it! We will DEFINITELY be back!“
“Stopped by Saturday Night (which is a busy night) for the first time.......and it won't be the the last time. Scott and his staff run a great local bar/ restaurant. We decided to try a bunch of items based on other reviews and all we very tasty....Chicken wings with Med Sauce, 6 SL Pepperoni Pizza, Quirky Turkey with Buffalo Chips, Nashville Chicken Sandwich (with good heat), Hamborgini, Mac and Cheese and Philly Cheese Steak with House Salad (dressing is an awesome Homemade Basil Vinaigrette). Well worth the trip to this gem and to top it off, they have a smooth Jazz band playing on Sat's night (a great added touch).“
“Had the beef dip sandwich, it came with auju and a mound of fries. Couldn't say no to the carrot cheese cake thingy either. Needless to say, a delightful staff and wonderful food. If they could change one thing about the place, have Caddyshack playing on at least one TV at all times. 5 stars“
“Awesome staff!! Great vibe! Vegan wings are a 10, the pastrami spiced ones are the best! Awesome fries, sweet potato fries, great salads just omit the cheese, vegan cheese burger, and the smoked pastrami mushroom sandwich is great. Always excellent!“
“My husband ordered Monday's special, Chicken burger and fries but he made the fries a potine instead. I ordered the pork kabobs. The food was delicious and customer service was just right. The pricing is really good too. The place is clean and there is so many things to do. If we weren't limited on time we definitely would have stayed longer. Entertainment wise you won't be disappointed. They have like 4 or 5 big screen TV's, a pool table, darts and like 5 gaming systems. (Those slot machine like ones. Sorry, not sure what they're called.) They even have some type of golf game maching and of course a jukebox. We will definitely be going back. Our compliments to the chef.“
“The menu offered many great choices (from waffles to nachos), and the food was delicious. The food was beautifully plated, fresh, and generous portions. The prices were more than reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive!“
“Came here for St. Patricks day, Fallon was our server. She is friggan awesome! Bubbly, sweet, and just a peach ? Food priced well, big portions and tasty. Tonnes of beer on tap, and draft tastes better than other bars out here. Will be back again!“
“Amazing service and atmosphere.Great place to pop in for a quick pint or take your family for dinner.Prices are fair everything is more expensive now. That's just how it is.Kid-friendliness: The bartenders are amazing and very helpful with children“
“We went to Olde Angel for drinks, food, and music. The ambiance and the old world charm are fantastic! The staff made us feel welcomed and part of the local scene. We would consider this to be the top bar/drinking establishment in Niagara-on-the-Lake! We were fortunate enough to meet the owner and manager and they were both extremely friendly, welcoming, and committed to making sure we had a phenomenal experience at Olde Angel. We would recommend visiting to anyone who asked!! A go-to place! You will be sorry if you miss it!!“
“im in stcatharines maybe touch 3 years & just found this place, even the customers are, hay hello, but its a homely, enjoyable, & warming, when they no what your drinking you don't seem to be waiting on another & there onto it, in general the best out of 100, 99 for “
“Harry Potter Night!!! Yes Please! Our family was so excited to be a part of this tribute to the Magical Book series! The selection of drinks and food were all well thought out and themed! The service was exceptional! I ordered the refreshing Gillyweed salad and the Mrs Weasley's Bangers and Mash which were both delicious! My son, his girlfriend, my husband and I all ordered the House Elf Dumpling Stew (a beef stew with gnocchi) which we all found to be way over salted. This was not the first time I had had a soup at this venue. Both tasted like the water had been imported from the Dead Sea. You can always add more salt but you can't take it out. Unfortunately this left us feeling quite bloated and nauseous. I'd go back, but i'll avoid the soup in the future.“
“We used Trappers Sports Bar for a 60th birthday party for my dad for approximately 50 people. Tina and staff were great! No headache at all to get the date booked and food planned to our preferences. The spread they put out for our group was perfect. Tina allowed us to drop off our decorations and set them up for us! Everyone was well taken care of for drink service and the staff was so great to coordinate the food and cake. I absolutely recommend them as a casual party venue :)“
“My #1/Best spot. Short walk from the bridge. The staff and patrons treated me like family. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the bartender Kelly was amazing. Al introduced me to a lot of the incoming patrons. Todd, Billy and Fred and everyone else that help me enjoy this experience "Much Love".“
“They used to serve food and I heard they stopped. They had the best pub food in the city and I miss it ! Where else can you get a pint of Guiness, bangers and mash or steak pie? Or the best fish n chips or quality wings? Class toffee pudding and stunning chips. Sigh, come back please“
“Best restaurant/ Pub in st Catherines when it comes to service, literally walk into any other and you won't receive anything close to it keep it up!! Food's amazing too every we dish got was top notch not too light or heavy. Very customer driven and they definitely know what they're doing. Extremely satisfied ????“
“The food was amazing,10/10. But… the wait to get in was long even though there were only like two or three people in the restaurant. The waiter took a bit to come to our table but she was great! They were just short staffed but everything else was a 10/10.“
“Went there last night , super fun , super packed it was more like a club than a bar to be honest. Multiple serving bars (at the entrance, by the dance floor, downstairs in the game room, outside on the patio) it was sooooooo packed but I loved it. Staff was nice, drunk were good, food was good (only got fries ) . Watching drunk people get thrown off the bull was funny af. Only reason I didnt give 5/5 stars is because the line was huge to get in and the line hardly moved at all the whole hour we were waiting from 11pm until as soon as it turned 12 they let everyone in which right at 12 the cover fee changes from $10 to $20 per person. I don’t think it was a coincidence , seemed intentional.“
“This pace is a pub, not a restaurant. I don't like sitting at high tables. I was unhappy that no regular tables are offered, so we opted to eat at the bar. It's got a great atmosphere and it seems like a fun place to drink. However, we went there for dinner because it's a historical landmark and the the oldest continually licensed bar Canada. I was disappointed with the limited menu, and disappointed with quality of the food. In their defense though, a server friend later said to me, "You expected a good meal, but you went to bar that serves food, when you should have gone to a restaurant that serves alcohol." Stop in for the atmosphere and a good drink, but pass it by if you want a pleasant dining experience.“
“Excellent food and serviceUpdate March 23 2004New owner have done a great job cleaning up the bar and the food was great! I hear good things are on the way. Looking forward to seeing what they can do with this location! Best of luck to them“
“Busy Friday night. I didn't have a reservation, but got there early and they squeezed me in. I enjoyed a pint of Guinness while I waited for my fish fry (best I've had in years!). Swapped out the chips (fries) for homemade, delicious mashed potatoes and gravy. Fabulous meal, left full and happy!“
