“I brought friends here on Dec 27th for dinner. Both are preety picky about where they eat, and I had assured them they would like it here. Very happy that I was not left disappointed. We had a wondeful dinner with them enjoying the turkey dinner and adding yorkshire puddings to their dinners( not sure, but they are infactuated with YP) I had the trio with shephards pie, chicken pot pie and steak and ale. It was great. They are still talking about this restaurant, so we will be back on the next trip to the falls. Thanks so much.“

“Spectacular food. We started with spinach artichoke dip. So yummy. My girls had sandwiches and fries. So big and fresh. I had the Philly steak. I am not sure what the did to make the cheese so good and the whole thing just was perfection.“

“What a fabulous pub, the food and drinks were great but the staff are outstanding. We went for dinner/drinks 2 nights in a row when we were in Niagara on the lake celebrating our anniversary. The second night” our 41st wedding anniversary at the end of our meal Kaitlin brought us a dessert and an anniversary card signed by all the staff that Mieriam our waitress the night before had left for us, it really ment the world to us. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all the next time we are in Niagara on the Lake.“

“Went to Taps this evening with friends. Wife and I had a busy few days with renovations and just didn't feel like cooking tonight. Taps didn't disappoint. They have a very good selection of food choices, the food is always good, and the service is excellent. Though they have a good selection of beverages, I really enjoy their craft beer. We've been to Taps several times this summer, and we will definitely continue going for the food, the prices and the very friendly, courteous, and attentive service. Well done Taps. “Last night I had dinner with 2 others. I am 95% happy with the food and service. Sorry nothing is perfect. The food was great, the beer was fizzy, the app was hot and tasty, the service alway great. Until I got the bill. I was actually shocked to see how much a glass of rootbeer was charged. $3.99 before tax each! WTF? I didn't ask if that was bottomless for that price. Just a heads up for those families with young children.“

“Trappers is a near-perfect example of the classic Canadian "dive" sports bar. It's clean but not shi-shi, it's 100% local but you feel like a regular as soon as you walk in. Within a few minutes you know the name of your waitress and the guy sitting next to you if you're sitting at the bar. My chicken wings (sold in orders of 12 or 20) were excellent. At 2pm the place was pretty much all retired regulars drinking bottle beer and the atmosphere was fantastic. Classic rock played on the sound system but you could hear relaxed conversations all around you. Trappers is a real gem in my opinion.“

“I had the gnocchi poutine for appetizer and the social burger with house salad for my entrée. The poutine was certainly different, but it and the entrée tasted good. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Very friendly staff, and great service. Will definitely return.“

“As an older resident of St Catharines the only complaint I would mention is the God awful noise ...The younger generation love this I assume but I dont .We try and go at off times so its a bit quieter or sit in the back room . that helps ...BUT food and service always excellent !!“
