Everything was fresh and local and freaking delicious! Nothing was an afterthought - the bread that came with the soup was as good as my grandma’s dinner rolls ❤️ Even the lettuce on the burger was big, crisp and fresh. The tomato seemed like it had just been picked this morning. The coffee was delicious and fresh, made to order. Very generous portions, fat crispy bacon, ah! If you’ve never eaten a meal so delicious it brought tears to your eyes, you should come here. I would drive 400 miles again just to eat lunch here. The owners were super nice people!“

“The steak special was a grade 9 wagyu steak which is comparable to A5 Japanese wagyu and it definitely lived up to its name. It was very delicious insanely tender melt In your mouth steak with mushrooms and truffles grated on top. The hostess quoted 45-60 minute wait and it ended up only being 15 minutes so we were very grateful. I also love that we were contacted via text when our table was ready so we were able to take the girls back to the car for what we had assumed would be a 45 minute wait.The service was great—Mike was so good to our littles, talking directly to them and being patient, kind, and attentive. Food was great and came out super quickly. Including 2 apps, a beer, and 5 meals we were out for under $130 including a 25% tip. “My partner couldn't stop singing the praises of beef on weck. We were in Niagara Falls at the end of September, and we came out here based on the reviews. We did not realize that they are about 10 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. It was so good, we came back the next day. They are extremely well worth the drive. A nice simple place, you can order outside in the front of the building, or inside. They have seating both areas. Everybody was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They have won awards for their beef on Weck, and I can see why. You can get it with anywhere from 2 1/2 ounces for a lighter eater,, to a whopping 8 ounces of roast beef. The roast beef was tender and wonderfully flavored, the jus that they dip the top half of the roll in was heavenly, and I loved the kummelweck roll with the caraway seeds and salt. I can see why my partner is always singing the praises of this sandwich, and why it is a mainstay of the Buffalo area, For dessert, both times my partner had the frozen custard. The first time, I had the canoli ice cream. Delicious! It actually had pieces of canoli in it. The second time, I had the custard, and it was creamy and delicious. Much better than your standard soft serve. They are closed for the season, but they will reopen in March of 2024. . The next time we are in the area, we would stop by in a heartbeat. Thank you!!“

Boosting up to a 5 star now since the last 5+ times I've been have all been perfectBeen to this place twice now since Ive been told best wings in WNY. My first time was a major letdown, I did the Double Dip with Cajun and Honey Mustard, the wings were so overcooked that all I tasted was other leftover food from the char marks. I wanted to give them another try because I always feel like these types of bars have mediocre food during the days and then they step up at night when the rush comes in so I went in again on a wknd night and ordered the Cajun-Medium Double Dipped. Once again, I ran into 3-4 of the wings extremely overcooked but the other ones were 100% spot-on, flavor was killer and the chicken was on point. Only if I could get a full order of decently cooked wings then my review would be higher. Also docking a bit of a point because I was told their top shelf whiskey was Seagrams 7... I mean, I get its a local bar but really?Positives were that the bartenders were all super friendly and were flying around the bar. There was a large wait for bigger groups to get tables but that is expected on a Friday night in a smaller location like this. Parking lot was a zoo with people trying to find spots. Ample televisions on to watch the game and overall seems like a fun local spot.All in all, Id recommend stopping in if you are in the area. Everything was served piping hot. The pickle chips were crispy and crunchy, with a nice dipping sauce, a little spicy but all tasty. The fries were cooked the way fries should be. Crispy outside, mashed potato like inside. The gravy served on the side was not very good. It was clumpy and not very tasty. The pulled pork(recommended by our fabulous server) was delicious, but I bit into a bone that damn near knocked my crown off. The server was very apologetic, and they even removed the sandwich from the check. (kind gesture that not a lot of places would do) The roast beef was good, but it was a bit overcooked for my taste. “I stopped in for lunch with my daughter for the first time. The two ladies that were working were outgoing and welcoming, with fun personalities. You can tell the customers love them by how they react when they come in. It was fun to just watch them interact. The food was good. I had the reuben and it came on huge slices of bread with delicious fries. My daughter had loaded tots and said they were delicious, as well. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was too. Three people got the beer battered fish fry while I got the Cajun which is grilled. My fish looked so great that everyone at the table had a bite of mine! Each and every one of us absolutely loved and raved over our meals and drinks. Some of the freshest oysters and a delicious meatball to start our night, with espresso martini's and wine. I had the pork chop special with pear chutney and WOW, the biggest and moist cut of pork I've had with an amazing flavor profile. I had the fruit cookie for dessert and it was absolutely divine.
