“I can't imagine how many times I have driven by the Eagle House, but it's been a lot. Well we finally had the chance to go for an 80th birthday party. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The Eagle House has a proud history dating back to the 1800's. Much of it's charm remains, as it is warm and cozy (especially by the fireplace). The portions were great, the food was reasonable and staff were pleasant. We had a party of 9 and they were able to accommodate our request for a private room on the 2nd floor. It was perfect for the occasion! It may not be sleek and modern, but that is part of the charm. It's lasted this long for a reason...“

“We will come back because it was pretty good. There are areas for improvement but overall it was a good time. Everything was a bit plain seasoning wise, and had a ton of butter on all of it. I got the chicken fried chicken. It was actually much larger than I expected and was a good tasting meat. I got broccoli casserole that I couldn’t find any broccoli in. It was all breading. The beans and greens were both fine. My family also got onion petals that were great, and the hot honey chicken that was delicious. The cornbread and biscuits were both great. The potatoes were just ok The service was phenomenal. Pleasant, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. The only real complaint was that we were sat at the front and were told the table was cursed, laugh, and sit down. We found out why, the hostess ran into our chair every time she walked by. The guests used the backs of our seats and our shoulders even. It’s fine, but not what we had in mind. The cost was excellent. I signed up for rewards and got a free appetizer and a $1 off ornament coupon. I also got a veterans discount. The overall cost for 3 adults with take home, under $70. We shopped a little and those prices were a bit steeper, but it seemed that everything was discounted there as well. I got a scarf and 2 ornaments and paid $20. “We hired Blue Fire BBQ to cater my daughter’s high school graduation party, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the first phone call to the final empty tray, the entire experience was fantastic.

The food was phenomenal. We went with pulled pork, beef brisket, grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze, roasted potatoes, and their creamy mac and cheese. Every single item was superb, perfectly seasoned, cooked with care, and full of flavor. The beef brisket was the undisputed star of the day. It was so tender and delicious that guests were raving about it nonstop. The grilled vegetables had just the right char and that bright balsamic finish, and the mac and cheese was the ultimate crowd-pleaser.

Matt, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with. He was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our event perfect. He personally delivered everything right on time. The setup was quick and seamless and the portions were generous. We had plenty of happy guests and very little left over.

“Tia and The Irishman are the people and place to work with if you want to host a large party for some drinks and great food. Tia made sure to make our experience unforgettable. “Good evening! I could not go to bed tonight without acknowledging the fabulous service my two friends and I received at the Acropolis on Main Street. Our server Anthony C was outstanding! All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. You are blessed and lucky to have some like him on your team. We do a monthly dinner on Main Street and are already planning on coming back to Acropolis for our September dinner (if we can find out when Anthony C is working!) “My wife and I went here on a Sunday afternoon. It had a nice crowd at the bar and in the dining room.

Our server was a nice young lady named Taylor. There is a popcorn machine and a barrell filled with peanuts to snack on.

To start I had a cup of homemade New England clam chowder and my wife had a cup of Buffalo chicken wings soup. Both soups were very delicious.

For entrées, my wife had the Buffalo Sampler Platter, and I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich with chips. My wife enjoyed the sampler platter with the wings done with sweet chili sauce. I enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich and I took home half the sandwich, because the portion was big.

It's a nice relaxing pub suitable for all groups and families.

Bar had multiple taps for different styles of beer. There are even two dart boards too.

The dining room was clean, as well as the restrooms.

We enjoyed our time here, and we will definitely visit here again to try more items on the menu.“

This is store is not a good representation of the chain. The Cicero location was much cleaner and better tasting fried items.“
