“My wife and I spent a week at the Asa Ransom House from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day. The location is perfect for us as our family lives very close, also you can walk to restaurants in the Clearance hollow and the town park. A short drive to Williamsville and Buffalo. The hospitality, cleanliness and spacious comfortably rooms (ours with fireplace) made this holiday week very special. The breakfast each morning was perfection on a plate that you won’t want to skip even one day, each day was something different and deliciously fresh. We plan to return soon!“

So helpful, kind, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She always got back to me quickly when I had a question. She's very happy to help you and make things as easy and seamless as possible. The food was AMAZING, and our guests just raved about it, from first bite to days later! Upon finding out the groom, as well as other family members have to eat gluten free, Carrie made sure all of the meat and side dishes we chose were gluten free as well. We chose the roast beef, grilled herb chicken, herb potatoes, fried rice, and salad. The gluten free dishes were a huge blessing for us! Everyone that had anything to do with our dinner was also outstanding, helpful, and kind. We have another dinner planned here soon, and I cannot wait to show the other family this fabulous restaurant, and eat here again myself. Family from both sides are still talking about our rehearsal dinner and how wonderful it was! They are planning on going back on their own to eat. “We will come back because it was pretty good. There are areas for improvement but overall it was a good time. Everything was a bit plain seasoning wise, and had a ton of butter on all of it. I got the chicken fried chicken. It was actually much larger than I expected and was a good tasting meat. I got broccoli casserole that I couldn’t find any broccoli in. It was all breading. The beans and greens were both fine. My family also got onion petals that were great, and the hot honey chicken that was delicious. The cornbread and biscuits were both great. The potatoes were just ok The service was phenomenal. Pleasant, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. The only real complaint was that we were sat at the front and were told the table was cursed, laugh, and sit down. We found out why, the hostess ran into our chair every time she walked by. The guests used the backs of our seats and our shoulders even. It’s fine, but not what we had in mind. The cost was excellent. I signed up for rewards and got a free appetizer and a $1 off ornament coupon. I also got a veterans discount. The overall cost for 3 adults with take home, under $70. We shopped a little and those prices were a bit steeper, but it seemed that everything was discounted there as well. I got a scarf and 2 ornaments and paid $20. The service at the sales counter was excellent as well. Great job Cracker Barrel!!“

“We contacted Blue Fire BBQ about a week before our event. Matt provided great information and accommodating service! He responded in a timely manner and was very considerate for what we needed! We had a party of about 11 people while each of Matt's serving sizes are about 20. We have leftovers upon leftovers and let me tell you, it was delicious! The quality of the food, the flavor, everything was great! The guests, including myself, couldn't get enough! I would definitely consider ordering for the first time as we did! “The staff was nice. The prices were good. The bathrooms are not clean. The fry old was bad. The fried shrimp and French fries are apparently all cooked together in oil that tasts like Ivory bar soap.

This is store is not a good representation of the chain. The Cicero location was much cleaner and better tasting fried items.“

“I've only had a handful of poor experiences here since the day they opened the (original) restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. Disappointing overall experience.“
