“After telling my fiance I wanted to go on a date, he picked Nana's in Alden to take me to. We love mediterranean food and let me tell you we were not disappointed!! This place by far is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We live about 30 minutes away and drive here almost once a week now. The staff is incredible, too. You can tell the chef is passionate about his food and loves what he does. The food is always fresh and tastes incredible!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience every time”

Slytherin Sour with fruit puree was a perfect balance of sweet and sour. Strawberry “daiquiri” was spot on. Even found a stout that I enjoyed. My hubby loved the cream ale and the pineapple habanero. Looking forward to going again soon!”

“Dined as a party of 4 last week (2 of us had been previously, 2 were new)... in a word? Incredible! we arrived around 6:45 and were seated immediately. The service was top notch from the moment we walked in the door. We selected some regular menu items and some specials. Started with crab cakes and calamari for the table. Moved on to filets and bacon jam filets for the main course. Apple crisp and key lime pie to complete the evening. Everything was delicious! Not that we doubted it for a minute. That bacon jam filet though? Seriously amazing. Shout out to chefs in the kitchen creating these new dishes! 10/10 recommend and will 100% be back!”

“We just held a wedding rehearsal dinner here for just under 30 people, at The Hollow Bistro & Brew. Five stars across the board! If I could give more, I would! Carrie is amazing to work with. So helpful, kind, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She always got back to me quickly when I had a question. She's very happy to help you and make things as easy and seamless as possible. The food was AMAZING, and our guests just raved about it, from first bite to days later! Upon finding out the groom, as well as other family members have to eat gluten free, Carrie made sure all of the meat and side dishes we chose were gluten free as well. We chose the roast beef, grilled herb chicken, herb potatoes, fried rice, and salad. The gluten free dishes were a huge blessing for us! Everyone that had anything to do with our dinner was also outstanding, helpful, and kind. We have another dinner planned here soon, and I cannot wait to show the other family this fabulous restaurant, and eat here again myself. Family from both sides are still talking about our rehearsal dinner and how wonderful it was! They are planning on going back on their own to eat. If you are considering having an event here, or just having lunch or dinner, do it, you will not be sorry!!!”

“I ordered a fish fry thru Uber Eats, and when the food arrived on my front porch half of it was hanging out of the box. I contacted the restaurant after Uber Eats refused to refund my money even with clear photos of the unsanitary issue and Jina at the restaurant had a whole new meal delivered to me within an hour! She turned a bad experience into a better one and fixed my issue immediately! Thank you Jina!”

“I stopped on a whim as I'm not normally in that area. Staff was pleasant. Prices were fantastic. The coffee, omg, so smooth. While waiting I grabbed some Kcups for home. The coffee is so smooth and delightful. I haven't had a bad cup yet. Looks like I'll be making the drive more often.”
