“I went to raintree yesterday for the first time and I will definitely be back to try the food! I just went for a few drinks with a friend and I have to say the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a bit and had a few laughs. The people that sat next to us ended up being very sociable and had some great conversations. Its nice to know you can walk into a place and be treated like you been a regular. Thank you and I will be back!“

“Best fish fry in WNY!! The french fries are fresh cut, NOT frozen, which is always a plus, and the side salads are delicious. Service is friendly and personable. The beef on weck is delicious too! My only complaint is when table's are being cleaned, they use a spray bottle with Awesome cleaner and if you're close to a table being cleaned, you can taste it.“

“I recently stopped here for the first time a couple weeks ago on a Tuesday night for karaoke with Okie Rich of Sooner Tunes Productions. What a nice place this is! The restaurant was full for karaoke and the customers really enjoyed the singers. I had the chicken wings and they were delicious! I met the owner Dena, and all of the employees were just as friendly as she is. 290 Slide Sports Bar and Grill will be a regular stop for me. I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Met the owner and his staff on business; saw the juke, the pool tables, the darts, and had a great vibe about the place, even though it wasn't super busy. Checked it out last night for the first time and wow was I impressed. Justin was our bartender, great service, great conversations. He makes a good Diet n Bourbon too. Place wasn't super packed but buzzing with good vibes of folks just enjoying their night. No knuckleheads, no creeper types. I sampled the Texas Hots and the Mozz sticks. Both great. The Hots were 95% spot on to the original Texas Hots in Wellsville NY. Between food n drinks my total bill (without the generous tip) was less than $30. Can't go wrong there. I'm sure I'm bound to become a regular there.

Parking: Parking's part of the plaza the bar is located in. Nice quiet safe environment. General area is well kept and maintained

Kid-friendliness: The vibe was definitely calm enough that if I wanted to bring my two teenage sons in for lunch sometime I would have no qualms.“

“Unfortunately they forgot my sausage in the seasonal special which made the dish very bland. They brought it out when I asked, but it took away from the dish. The shrimp was also overcooked and a little burnt. They did discount my meal (some Cajun pasta special feature), but I would have preferred the dish came as advertised. The other dish we got was great - the chicken pot pie. Highly recommend that in cooler months. Overall was a fine place that filled us up without breaking the bank while staying in the area.

It’s small so not much room, and only if you want to watch the local games. If you are in the mood for ‘not your typical wing’ because they are breaded it is a nice alternative. “I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“It's a very chill atmosphere. It's cleaner than a dive bar, but eclectic with decorations. They have stage space but it's small and cozy and not usually too crowded. You can see the owner in and out of the kitchen. She was very nice to her staff.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar. No kids please.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps into the place, however call ahead and I'm sure they would make arrangements, so that you feel welcome. It's the vibe that I get from the people there.“

I found out about this place via a Reddit post. And they nailed it. Very local, very dive bar atmosphere and that’s exactly what we wanted. If you have thin skin like I’ve seen in another review go elsewhere. But if you want some true authentic wings in Buffalo, go here. The wings themselves were awesome. Traditional wings with sauce. I did go with their house made hot sauce which was great. Not too spicy but full of flavor. Not a buffalo sauce, it’s their own thing.

I also saw another review complaining about the beef on weck. It must have been their first one because Kelly’s was perfectly cooked and prepared.

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“lol this place isn’t “allen st bar & grill” or whatever, it’s The Pink. and i’ve heard their food is great (never eaten there because i’m a vegetarian). but one time when i was there i asked if there was any vegetarian food & the bartender served me some pickles, which was great. and drinks are cheap. great place to end a fun buffalo night. also if you’re a femme, you’ll make temporary best friends in the women’s bathroom every time. can you even say you’re a buffalonian if you haven’t been to The Pink? no. the answer is no.“

“This is a small corner bar. The bartenders stay on top of your drinks! They have pool tables, darts & a jukebox. They sometimes have live bands or a dj. They do serve food as well. I recommend the cheeseburgers & frys! If your in the area check it out!“

Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. “I understand the reputation Elmo’s has when it comes to wings. They were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy but still sauced just right. I do want to try and find just the right combination and they do their double dipped. I think finding just the perfect style to your own makes a huge difference. “Very disappointed in the duck soup. I have been eating it for years and the last batch I purchased at the Polish Festival had carrots in it!! Too thick and gray.Must be someone new making it. When I asked about the carrots, they said they've been doing it like that for years. Huh?!“

“I had my daughter's birthday party at Northtown center during an open skate on short notice. The Skybox owner was very accommodating, and set us up in their private party room for pizza and cake. It overlooks the main ice rink which was great. The staff was very helpful and the pizza and wings were tasty. Thanks again!“
