“Decided to give it another try; New Ownership has done a wonderful job. Could be the best Bacon Cheese Burger I've ever had!(Started coming here on occasion ~ 4 years ago. Unfortunately the place (Plaice) has been a real disappointment my past 3 visits. Dry overcooked wings, poor quality burgers etc. Even the condiments for Burgers are served in takeout packets? In addition, the interior and exterior are in need of some serious maintenance. Told by locals the owners just don't care anymore? Oh well; there's 3 or 4 other Roadhouse places in town that deliver better value IMO.)“
“When we first arrived we were promptly given a table and our server immediately came and introduced herself as Matti. After taking our drink order I went back to the front and asked if we could be seated at a booth….no problem. We were re-seated in a minute.Matti saw what was going on and promptly brought our drinks over to the new booth. We ordered an appetizer and mains and settled in, amazed at the size of this establishment. It’s divided into 3 different large areas on multiple floors. Our appetizer was bought over to our table and it was delicious. After a short delay I noticed Matti speaking to a very large gentleman with a concerned look on her face.Within seconds the gentleman was at our table introducing himself as the general manager apologizing for the delay in our mains coming to our table. For such a large place it was so amazing they make sure you have and excellent experience. This level of personal attention is rare even in a small restaurant. We can’t say enough about Matti and the GM.We’ll be back.(Oh, and the food was simply amazing)“
“Let's face it. You don't go to Sportsmen's Tavern for the food -- it's all about the music! This is an outstanding music venue which continues to spread through the community. But you may be surprised to learn the food is very good! I'm not sure if the kitchen is always open but be sure to order food when at Sportsmen's for the full experience.“
“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“
“I have been to this restaurant twice and I really enjoyed my experience both times . First of all the menu is outstanding and reasonably priced . That is not counting the specials - new specials are posted on their Facebook page every day ! This past visit my aunt and I ordered two entrees - the chicken inferno (stuffed banana pepper, sweet chili sauce ) and crab stuffed haddock . Entrees come with fresh bread and a side salad. I was able to upgrade to a loaded baked potato for $3 (worth it ) . Food was as delicious as they appear in pictures I posted. Plenty for leftovers . Server was kind and accommodating . Dare I say Rust Belt is one of the best restaurants in the south towns ! Try it for yourself and see if you agree ....“
“Cozy neighborhood eatery and bar. The staff are friendly and make you feel like a regular on your first visit. The wings are great. Good buffalo sauce and crispy, blue cheese is really good, and I'm a buffalo wing snob. Atmosphere sings old buffalo with antiques and vintage photos.“
“The Best. Very clean and modern establishment with tons of TV's. Huge bar, and plenty of seating. The staff is absolutely outstanding from ownership down! Large selection of beverages. Now, onto their wings.... oh the wings. 50 cent wings for dine-in and they are OUTSTANDING. Big, crispy, juicy wings. I highly recommend the Cajun Garlic Parm and the Hot Garlic Parm flavors. They are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!“
“This place was crazy fun, the atmosphere was amazing, and the conversations were enthralling. The bartender is a hoot... and a cutie ?, and the people there will have you wheezing.Besides that I gotta give compliments to the chef. I got the Angus burger and let me tell you, you gotta try it. They add something sweet to the burger (I skepticize it to be some sort of jam) but the contrast that it makes.with the savory burger is amazing. Not to mention the Fry's cooked to perfection; exactly what I needed. All around the place was very clean, definitely up to date on everything; and from what I've seen of the kitchen there's not much to worry about. The bathrooms were spiff and span and the mirror was cool.Which brings me to my final point, The layout. I had to say the design of the bar was very classic, you come in and are treated with a bar and a few tables and a booth wall. The kitchen connects behind the bar and out of the bar and a kitchen window. Then a small hallway that leads to both genders bathrooms and some other off limit stuff I presume(Didn't snoop around too much XD). I really like the bar and how the spirits were backlight. To summarize, id give it a 5/5 if you're looking for a good time. Thanks if you actually read all this.(PS, Sam, nice tattoo)Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with a door wide enough, no automatic doors but I'm sure a bartender or a fellow citizen would help.“
“We loved Union before but now it is even better in the new location. The bar is awesome and there is a full dinning room now to come and enjoy a killer meal. I love the French onion soup, wings and of course Transit log!! Awesome downtown place!“
“Yes . I was greatly impressed on the local little Hot Spot or what may come of the future . I know what it's like to get 8t on track .I managed my own business, I it was more than I expected. Good Luck I'll be back soon .Smoked Wings ?“
“As a middle-aged dude for whom sleep has replaced sex as the ultimate goal in life, this place has reinvigorated me. Met some friends here for drinks and had a great time. Emily the bartender was on point all night. A brilliant host, her sarcasm and wit were superior to mine, which pissed me off at first but eventually I conceded defeat. Worth every penny. Will definitely be returning as often as I can! Also, they have dart boards!“
“Had my daughters bridal shower brunch there today. Everything went perfect! Diane was very easy to work with, very accommodating and everything went as was planned. The room looked great, food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you again for making it easy to have a joyous celebration without any headaches. Would definitely book an event there again!Parking: Free parking.“
“I stopped in after work recently. I ordered the wings and had 2 bottles of Labatt's Blue. I usually go for the regular Buffalo style hot wings on my first visit to see how they handle the basics, and these were very solid wings. Large, crispy outside, juicy inside and the hot sauce was hot but not REALLY hot. Just hot enough. I must have arrived during happy hour because the single order of wings was $12.50. I was expecting more like $15. It was a good deal considering the high cost of chicken wings at most establishments. Bartenders were friendly as was the cook who delivered the wings. It's a typical neighborhood pub, but I didn't feel the suspicious eyes of the patrons when a non-regular enters that you sometimes encounter at neighborhood taverns. I kind of remember this location being called "Stony Point" back in the 80s. It probably hasn't changed much since then other than the large flat-screen televisions, but it doesn't need to change. It's great the way it is.“
“Great music, usually no cover. Typical bar food menu. Tables available but service only at the bar.Parking: Free parking, but not a lot of spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking spot in front. No steps or impediments to getting into the bar or men's room. No handicap stall in the men's room.“
“If you're looking for something off the beaten path this place is great! Great prices, great staff, and great food. Try their house recipe "hot" buffalo sauce. It's got a great flavor. Their chicken "tenders" will feed a small army.“
“Ordered 3 different sauces on wings and some fingers too. All were excellent. Ordered extra crispy wings - cooked perfect. Were attempting to go to a " Wing Trail" establishment but they were closed. This was a recommendation so tried them out. SHOULD be on the Wing Trail list. Service was good, just short staffed like everywhere. Comfortable atmosphere with lots of space, no wait. Will certainly be back againKid-friendliness: Family friendly environment with dining area separate from bar“
“Valerie developed her own beer batter, and they have $2 off the fish fry during Friday happy hour this time of year! Also, the dance nights are some of the best I've found. But whatever you're into, Hot Mama's probably has a night for it, karaoke, trivia, pool, sports, etc. Those are just my favorites.“
“lol this place isn’t “allen st bar & grill” or whatever, it’s The Pink. and i’ve heard their food is great (never eaten there because i’m a vegetarian). but one time when i was there i asked if there was any vegetarian food & the bartender served me some pickles, which was great. and drinks are cheap. great place to end a fun buffalo night. also if you’re a femme, you’ll make temporary best friends in the women’s bathroom every time. can you even say you’re a buffalonian if you haven’t been to The Pink? no. the answer is no.“
“The wings here are great. Perfectly cooked and soooo many styles to chose from. Great service from the bartender and everything from the table to the bathrooms were spotless. Beers ranged from your standard macrobrews to some craft (Hayburner, Jai Lai). Will happily return.“
“Intentionally stopped here with the assumption that it would not be busy but in hopes of finding a place to watch the basketball games. There was only one staff in the front but the place was not very busy so it was fine. Ordered food and drinks at the bar and seated ourselves. We ordered a chicken taco salad, wings and drinks. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted great. The atmosphere is of a clean dive bar but it did smell like a combination of dirty dishrag and weed.“
“As chicken wing aficionados, we had to visit the birthplace of the buffalo wing and were not disappointed, flew from the UK especially to try out the wings and they were delicious and worth the journey. Staff were great and parking on site made it easy to just pull up, get a table and dig in to some amazing food.“
“The service at jack rabbit’s is incredible. There are so many friendly people taking care of you. Also the Bloody Mary is perfect and so is the brunch. Love this place. Here all the timeHad to edit this cause they added some pineapple thing to the Bloody Mary? Now it’s sweet and no horseradish flavor? We gotta fix this guys“
“Had the Garlic Parm traditional (10pc) wings. Nice size, lots of meat. The bar / restraunt itself has character, with lots of memorabilia on its walls. Service was good, no complaints and ya have the bragging rights for dining at the original birthplace of the buffalo wing.“
“Love this place. Great service, and the food is always hot, delicious and fresh. Great crowd and I love how the lights are dim and its just a nice vibe. If you go earlier its very nice to be out with your family. My one and only concern would be pleaseeeeeeee put a baby changing table in the bathrooms. Us parents have enough to worry about when out with our little ones. Ither then that, we will be back.“
“What makes this place is the super friendly service. Staff are over the top nice. Asked about a beer, got a sample. Kids at the next table were given Twinkies for dessert. Offered up 10% off as we were going to the Bandits game. Best service I've had in a long time. Burger was solid but the Philly Cheesesteak was the better option - beefy, cheesy and a bit spicy. Love the old school crinkle cut fries!“
“Stopped here on a recommendation from a few different friends. The atmosphere is nice, bartenders were friendly and the bar is nice and clean. The appetizer we had wasnt the best but it wasnt horrible either. We will be back again to try out some other food. “
“My husband and I went out to eat here on Friday to try their fish fry and it was excellent. The breading was unique and crispy and it didn’t taste like it was old gross fryer oil. The bar attendant was friendly and attentive. It’s a somewhat small place, I don’t believe their is actual waitresses, just order at the bar and they’ll bring you the food if you’re at a table. Overall a decent place for bar food with a great fish fry.“
“Sam at the bar is a fantastic and friendly bartender.Food is much better than you'd expect at a place called a Junkyard, in fact probably some of the best Bar Food around.Cleanliness is high-tier, seems to be highly cared for by the owner and staff.“
“My personal go to dive bar. I feel safe at the dome, which is important to me. The bouncers are genuine, the bartenders ??and fun vibe. It’s worth a drink or two on a Friday night. The bar was remodeled and I just saw it for the first time a couple months ago.The new owners brought they’re “A” game, with the new bar. I am very proud of my local dive bar, and after 10 years of fun, I’m hoping they aren’t sick of me. ?As far as the big dill??? There isn’t one. Every time I go I am denied a pickle. Whyyy??? So no rating for the dome. 0/10 #nocrunchtime“
“My only disappointment with this place is in myself because I've driven by it hundreds of times over the years and never stopped in. Went with a friend who frequents for the Bill's home opener and had such a great time. We were able to snag a seat at the bar during pregame and stayed through halftime. No matter how busy it got, the bartenders were phenomenal. It is definitely a local crowd and everyone was so much fun. Make sure you read the bars story on their website before you go as well, I found it super interesting. But what really surprised me was the food. I was assured it was good, but you know, it's still bar food with a limited menu. I went with the chicken quesadillas and my friend got the boneless wings with the Chef's sauce. Both came with their house cut fries. Everything was absolutely amazing. Both of us only finished about half and eagerly took our leftovers home. I can't wait to go back to eat in or at least get more quesadillas to go, they are THAT good!“
“My husband and I have been meaning to try this place and sorry we haven’t sooner! Came for breakfast, food was good and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Great atmosphere, very clean. Loved the paper on the tables and crayons, we definitely doodled lol and the water with the fresh lemon wedge was also nice, it’s the little things :)Husband here - I had the skillet breakfast with scrambled eggs, onion bacon and sausage all mixed together and baked beans on the side. Portion was huge :-)We will definitely be back!“
