“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Visited for the first time with my mom on 1/31/26. Friendly, hard working host sat us within 10 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and chatted with the bartender, he was fluent in the menu and preparations. Our server was equally informative, she was very busy, only wished we had a bit more attention but, it was a busy Saturday. We ordered the Meatloaf Tower and the Shrimp and Scallop dinners. Both were very good, served with warm bread, salad and side. Meatloaf was a bit dense but good, Shrimp and Scallops were cooked to perfection in a garlicky butter and the vegetables with that dish were outstanding.“

There was a slight miscommunication that led to a delay in food. We were having so much fun that we didn’t even notice, but the staff were apologetic and kind in getting it to us.

“A step below a dive bar, but I didn't go for the ambience. The beef on weck was outstanding. So much so that I went back again the following week. One member of our party felt the same way about the wings. I may never get to try them because it's like going to Grover's and ordering anything other than a cheeseburger. They are so damn good, you can't pass it up. Of course next time I guess I can get the beef on weck and the wings. Both servers were first rate, attentive, personable and professional. And don't get me started with the beer prices or they might decide to raise them..“

“Pasta was overcooked. Sauce was sour. Had to ask for grated cheese twice before we got it. Same with water. The restaurant and bar were very busy but no excuse for the disorganization we experienced. Probably won't go back as Buffalo has many Italian restaurants with better food, atmosphere and prices. We went at the high recommendation of friends and were very disappointed.“

“Stopped in while in town for a football game as we were staying just around the corner. Wings and burger were great as was the service. The music they were playing was not great and probably why they weren't real busy. Might have been a patrons choice but it was downright horrible music and way too loud to carry on a conversation. Definitely not family friendly.“

“I went to raintree yesterday for the first time and I will definitely be back to try the food! I just went for a few drinks with a friend and I have to say the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a bit and had a few laughs. The people that sat next to us ended up being very sociable and had some great conversations. Its nice to know you can walk into a place and be treated like you been a regular. Thank you and I will be back!“

“Stopped in to get some food because the kids were hungry. I went in by myself first to make sure it was a family friendly place. The bartender was also the cook for the day and she assured me it was fine and seated us in the back. The food was fantastic and she was very efficient and friendly. The kids loved it and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time“

“Oh man where do I start. Over the years I've had a few really good fish dinners but this one by far was the 'best' ! They say don't judge a book by its cover, well the same goes for the building. Cozy inside and the staff is nice and friendly. I believe the fish dinner was only $14.00 and there was plenty. Hey I just realize something , there was no bread or a roll ! Stuff to have it all. I know one thing for sure, I'm going back !“

“Our family had Easter Brunch at Jack Rabbit and we were all very impressed, the service was excellent! Everything was served in a timely manner (even with it being very busy) our food was hot and delicious! We all had different entrees from Eggs Benedict, Steak & Eggs, Turkey Benedict, Pancakes and we all agreed that the Breakfast Pizza was the BEST we have ever had oh and don’t forget the Tater Tots! “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. “4 of us had dinner at WD on Saturday night. First time any of us ate there. The food was excellent. One person had the petite lobster and filet one person had the N.Y. strip and onion rings two had the short ribs. There were no complaints about the food. Everything was of perfect quality and generous portions. Our servers Shayde and Sharif were exceptional. Showed up with appetizers and entrees at all the right times.“
