“Took my wife for her b-day lunch and I invited my daughter and grandson. The food was outstanding. Made fresh and it was delicious. The servers were great, took special attention to my grandson and to me being handicapped. If you love sushi, this is the place to go. We'll be back for sure. I give them a solid 5 stars.”

The restaurant and bar were very busy but no excuse for the disorganization we experienced. Probably won't go back as Buffalo has many Italian restaurants with better food, atmosphere and prices. We went at the high recommendation of friends and were very disappointed.”

“I recently stopped here for the first time a couple weeks ago on a Tuesday night for karaoke with Okie Rich of Sooner Tunes Productions. What a nice place this is! The restaurant was full for karaoke and the customers really enjoyed the singers. I had the chicken wings and they were delicious! I met the owner Dena, and all of the employees were just as friendly as she is. 290 Slide Sports Bar and Grill will be a regular stop for me. I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I LOVE this Just Pizza location, it’s the only one I go to even though I live right down the street from the nearest one. Rabeen, Ayham, and Zaid are awesome guys and so are the rest of their team.

They always look out for me and ensure my pizza and wings are ready ahead of time. I even get extra wings for free from time to time since I tip generously and was also in the customer service business so I know how hard these guys work.

Thank you guys so much for all that do and I appreciate you making the best pizza/wings so my family and I don't have to settle for papa johns anymore! Plus I get to impress my family when they travel from Albany since they LOVE Just Pizza.”

I just went for a few drinks with a friend and I have to say the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We chatted for a bit and had a few laughs. We bought a beautiful handcrafted teapot and immediately went home to eat their freshly baked bread with tea -- delicious! Highly recommend. Shop small, support local.”

We had excellent service, kids said it was the best cheese pizza ever! We also had the chicken tender sub with blue cheese it was on point! It was easy to see why this place has been around since 1982! Family owned business with multiple locations in the area! “The food was very good and came out very hot (the way I like it!) I would def recommend trying anything on the menu esp if you never had a dip sum experience before. We had the crab dumplings, bbq pork bun, chicken fried rice, vege dumplings, pork dumplings. However the service was a bit lacking and there was no ice for drinks. We got there at 1pm and were probably finished eating at around 3pm. But it took forever to get someone to take our order and then no one ever checked on us or came to cash us out. We had to get up to the register and ask for our bill.”

I’ve been there twice in the past decade and was for/after the death of my Grandfather Kenneth Hartel Sr, and Kenneth Hartel Jr his son whom died only months later. I came in and was like a family I’ve never met. They took care of my family and I. I hope to take my daughter up there soon.”

“Met the owner and his staff on business; saw the juke, the pool tables, the darts, and had a great vibe about the place, even though it wasn't super busy. Checked it out last night for the first time and wow was I impressed. Justin was our bartender, great service, great conversations. He makes a good Diet n Bourbon too. Place wasn't super packed but buzzing with good vibes of folks just enjoying their night. No knuckleheads, no creeper types. I sampled the Texas Hots and the Mozz sticks. Both great. The Hots were 95% spot on to the original Texas Hots in Wellsville NY. Between food n drinks my total bill (without the generous tip) was less than $30. Can't go wrong there. I'm sure I'm bound to become a regular there.

Parking: Parking's part of the plaza the bar is located in. Nice quiet safe environment. General area is well kept and maintained

Kid-friendliness: The vibe was definitely calm enough that if I wanted to bring my two teenage sons in for lunch sometime I would have no qualms.”

“Good selection of NY Style Pizza slices, large but a little on the expensive side.
I ordered a Turkey Sub today through the Slice App. The Sandwich was ready in a timely fashion and they even accommodated my request for additional Banana Peppers ( Strangely enough not a selectable item on the app ).
Sandwich itself was fine, nothing special and they Turkey they use I think is a little lower quality than some other Sub shops but filled the need.

CHEESES I got The Reuben, The Lobster and The Rodeo. Let me say they're all delicious, but THAT RODEO is by far my favorite. And I ordered a SMALL, yeah it's kinda like a LARGE SMALL. “they have declined since Covid and being fair to them and other's there prices are still a lot better for the food you get but i miss them being open until 1 to 2 am everyday. Again since Covid its hard to get workers who stick around for more then a couple months. The last thing I would like to say is not being able to pay cash for delivery orders anymore just plain sucks.”
