“My Go-To Takeout Sub shop that always exceeds my expectations for a no-surprises always-tasty submarine sandwich. My favorite is the Tuna, always tastes freshly made. They prepare their tuna salad in-house so a new batch will always be waiting, never a fishy taste from sitting unused.Of course Jersey Mike’s is well known for slicing their cold cuts in front of the customer. For that reason I also enjoy the Original Italian and the simpler Turkey & Provolone.How do you adorn your sub ?The “Mike’s Way” combination is an excellent starting point. You can add or change or delete any option. I have my Tuna on white bread Mike’s Way with extra tomato but no onion, no salt.Same for my Italian and Turkeys, just add yellow mustard on the bread. You can add a small amount of sliced pickles or banana peppers on the side to take with you ! I have not tried their hot subs but I hear they’re sizzling good.Not only is the food scrumptious but so are the preparers pleasant. “I accidentally placed an order for pick-up using the Checkers app. I could not pick it up since my roommate was borrowing my car. I called this location explaining the situation and the employee I spoke with said he would deliver it directly to me since he was about to leave anyway. “This is my favorite subway to go to! I go every lunch and dinner and the employees welcome me and make my subs perfect every time! Honestly amazing how they can handle a rush understaffed and with a smile on their faces :)! I am a little upset about the teriyaki sauce changing I really missed the original but thats not really in their control. That being said If you’re hungry and want a quick sub and a positive presence you gotta go to this subway !!“
“We happened to be in the area coming home from Niagara Falls & I needed DQ !! I have a feeling our location on Elmwood is not reopening this year. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. I placed an online order for three blizzards at 100 Niagara St. When we got there, I had Jim go in and he was gone for the longest time. I guess they were writing on somebody's ice cream cake, so it took a long time before they could get to him. The prices are a lot higher at this location, then on Elmwood and on Kenmore Avenue. The Blizzard's also seems smaller. The cups see more narrow. I could be wrong, but I don't know about that. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm sure they're good. It's just good to know that there is a place to go. That's not too far away to get my ice cream when my location is not open. It's in the plaza with other stores, so it's a very small location, but at least I got what I wanted, hence the four stars. I didn't go in, so I can't comment on what it looks like inside.“
“I can't believe what I'm reading on some of these reviews and think it must be a Buffalo problem. Blaine, Joella and all the folks in the Tempe location are first rate. They treat me right every time I come in, and the hot dogs are the best anywhere. Love the rings. My daughter loves the shakes. And even the fountain drinks are spot on with carbonation, which these days is saying something. Big hat tip to Tempe Ted's.“
