“Overall it was good. I rate it Overall 4 stars because it is overall generic tasting. The new larger burrito felt very much like just a promotional name and not really in quantity. Again everything was normal for mighty Taco. It's good but not if you're looking for authentic Mexican food.“

“10/10 for EVERYTHING. i loved the birria tacos, they were outstanding. the best ive had. me and my mom ate the whole thing. we also ordered the tres leches cake and it was one of the best ive had. not to mention the cheap prices? 14.99 for birria tacos AND a side of rice and beans. I had the carnitas dinner (it came with rice, beans and tortillas) last time i came here and it truly blew me away , it was outstanding. everyone is friendly and our waiter was amazing. “The most obvious word that comes to mind after a visit here: "festive", whether as a date night (saw a lot of those!), to families and large parties, to birthday celebrators (wearing Sombreros, naturally), to groups of friends...everyone having fun.The environment helps, with tons of hanging plants, artistic lighting, and lively surroundings. So do flowing drinks including a large margarita menu plus a neat mule with tequila, which I enjoyed. Food was great, and with many options not seen at typical Mexican places, you can try something you haven't had before (birria rolls, anyone?). I had the new flavorful mole Verde over Mahi, which is a nice addition to the menu.Service was excellent with speed and good recommendations. Prices aren't awful and we end up enjoying the night.“
“We ordered takeout today and the food was delicious. There was only 2 issues. I ordered 2 extra flour tortillas which I didn’t receive. No salsa for our chips. I totally understand forgetting both. Today is Cinco De Mayo and my son that picked up the food said they were so busy people were packed out into the parking lot. Other than those two things I would totally recommend this place. We will definitely order from here again or possibly dine in next time!“
“I had the carnitas it was delicious. It was served with rice, pico di gallo, beans and tortillas shells and it was excellent. My sister had the supreme quesadilla and it was delicious as well. My husband had the beef chimichangas and really enjoyed them. They where crispy and equally delicious. Our waiter was incredible and took great care of our table. We had a wonderful meal and excellent experience.“
“I was very surprised to see the ratings for this place! This was honestly the best pollo con crema I have ever had. Sometimes with Mexican restaurants it will just be quest and chicken. But this was so flavorful with a bunch of other stuff added. The drinks were good too, definitely a little pricey. Our server was the best ever! We came on the day of the eclipse, so it was super busy. However, she was the sweetest person, and everyone at the table agreed. Since this place is right on Elmwood, I would totally come back a agin for the pollo con crema alone!“
“My family and I are consistently up and down transit between Sheridan and Wehrle for our girls various activities throughout the week and we are always in the search for a great place to quickly stop and grab good food. We all love Mexican food and this place is our new favorite spot for quick Mexican cuisine because of the authentic experience. The flavor combinations were incredible and they somehow made salsa and guacamole taste different/better than I have had at any other quick Mexican take-out spot. We ended up dining in and listened to some great music and played fooseball before and after our meal. I can’t wait to go back for dinner because it really pleased the whole family and offered so many new flavors. This is how Mexican food is supposed to taste! “Every single time. Every time! We have the best food, best service, best experience. It is the perfect escape for lunch and dinner. You can tell I’m obsessed. The pineapple habanero, the quesadillas, THE FISH TACO! And duh, margs, top shelf, top experience, Grace Anne is my FAVORITE part. I can’t say enough about this place. “What a pleasant find! Atmosphere is festive and family; service great. Madisen was friendly and attentive. The Molcajete is possibly the best I have found after MANY samplings from Texas to Georgia to New York City. The unique addition of catfish made it sing! Beautiful presentation, as well. Highly recommend this dish! The chips and salsa are also worth mentioning -- quite good! This is a worthy stop.“

“All food was good. We enjoyed the chile relleno the most. Wasn't fried with flour and egg whites like most. Was a roasted chile with cheese and a light red sauce. Best thing to eat if you are watching your calories. I've actually started making them this way at home.They are quick, simple and very tasty. “Great atmosphere, great staff. Had the ribeye, asada and pork belly tacos and split chips, queso and elote. Asada taco was good, queso was a bit too salty and was the 1st thing we had so it may have stepped on the other food a bit. Best thing was mixing queso into elote and dipping chips into it. “It was a last-minute decision in the midst of hunger, teetering on the brink of hanger. But Lloyd saved the day. And not only did he save the day, but he did it with such a level of prowess & flare that even the taco gods would bow down in his honor. Needless to say, Lloyd Taco Factory knocked it out of the park. Service is efficient, having an order & seat yourself situation going on. They even had a kiosk to order on your own. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, & brags a unique decor style. And on top of it all, their menu is consolidated to perfection. I got the Dirty South taco (their modern hot take on chicken & waffles gone taco) with a side of Crack-ed Potatoes (Glory in potato form. I can't tell you about it. You have to take a bite for yourself.) and not that my picture does either of them justice, but there was a quiet, yet noticeable trend going on in their food. It's made with quality, layered flavors, & a rich decadence throughout. I left thinking about what I just ate, knowing it was special & should be appreciated as such. So, moral of the story? Lloyd's is a banger.“
“We sought authentic mexican food and placed orders from their dinners selections. Upon arriving it was warm and inviting and looks like a fun place to have some margaritas and great food. Service was amazing even for the take away. We were so glad we ordered complete dinners all the offerings were delicious, rice and beans and salad and tortillas and chips and salsa and super tasty entrees. Everyone in the busy dining room was smiling and enjoying huge portions and gorgeous drinks. We can't wait to dine in.“
“We didn't get to eat here as we just stopped in for a drink while we waited for some friends but I'm giving it 5 stars for one reason: Matty the bartender. We were visiting Buffalo for the UWBHF games and Matty gave us a literal list of places we need to visit while we were there. I think we made it to about half the places he listed but they were all great. And his margaritas and palomas were't too shabby either. “Went here for dinner tonight with my family. There was a total of 6 of us. I will say the service was amazing! Our waitress was patient and on top of everything. Her name was Andrea. All of the food and drinks were AMAZING! The menu had so many choices! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I honestly can not wait to go back!“

“We go there for lunch it's usually empty. The food is good for the price and comes out quickly. The staff is always polite and talkative. However, once we went for dinner and the amount of birthdays they had was insane. They bring the staff out to sing and there are some sparkler theatrics but it was constant throughout the entire meal. If that's not your cup of tea I suggest finding another mexican restaurant. That was my only gripe.“

“For the new kid on the block, El Punto certainly lived up to its hype. Waited three years, and now it had some time to establish itself. We decided to give it a try. Went on a Saturday shortly after 4. We got seated right away, but it was already filling up. They served housemade chips and a great house salsa. They have some Mexican cocktails that all look tempting ($12 avg price per cocktail). We started with empanadas as an app. You get two large beef filled empanadas. The plate had a great presentation, and taste did not disappoint. It came out before we even ordered our main meal. My wife & I both got the 3 tacos for &18. They looked fantastic and tasted just as great. My only complaint is that the music overall was just a little loud, and the time for the tacos took a little longer than I had hoped, but overall, we had a great experience with excellent food and friendly service. We will definitely be returning again.Parking: There's a lot behind the building on Manhattan St that offers plenty of parking if there isn't any available on Webster St.“

I got a tequila sunrise my daughter frozen strawberry margarita not only pretty looking with fruit added but nice flavor on both could taste the alcohol. “This branch of Chick Mex is located inside my college SUNY University at Buffalo's campus, in the UB Commons area alongside other good restaurants, clothing, accessories shops etc. Went here for the first time to get some dinner last weekend one night, two staff serving in the shop during that time were very polite, attentive, welcoming, and very friendly. Got a 'halal chicken over rice, which I would recommend with either any other protein as I would chicken. The staff did not mind adding more than one sauce on it when I asked them to. Also got a monster burrito, and both of them tasted so good and fresh. There were tables and chairs when I got to the shop several minutes before 9pm, so no customers were there, but I can guarantee the service and atmosphere in general would be very friendly, welcoming, comforting and relaxingly.“
