Sue's New York Deli owned and run by Claudette and Albert is only open Monday through Friday but is the primary reason to come to Buffalo, NOT the Passport Agency OR Niagara Falls! Constantly looking for good vegetarian food since my surgery, I was heartened to find Sue's. The humus over salad was good but the vegetarian chili with red beans, lentils and carrots is better than in Beirut! I took two quarts home to Cleveland with me. Do yourself a favor and get lunch here. Everything on the menu is great. They have my favorite souvlaki downtown. Nice convenient location too.Vegetarian options: You can get specific veggie items here including a delicious veggie burger.

Excellent hidden gem on the Main strip. Like any NY deli, expect to wait for your order, especially during peak lunch rush- but not longer than 10-20 minutes. Food is consistently fresh and delicious with lots of vegan/vegetarian options at a good price. And their baked goods are so tasty. Sue’s is the best!
