“Made a reservation here on a friend's recommendation when traveling to Niagara for the eclipse. We had the pleasure of speaking with the lovely owners, who provided a wonderfully hospitable service! The food itself was *incredible* - I had the Island Chicken Forever, with the croquettes and a bowl of gumbo on the side. Definitely authentic, and solidly in my Top 10 best meals I've ever had from any restaurant. My only regret is that I don't live close enough to try the rest of the menu; looking forward to a chance to return!“

“First of all, the employees are excellent - terrific personalities and great customer service. Second, we asked one employee's recommendation about the Beef on Weck - spot on delicious. We had a couple with curly fries and onion rings. Third, we were not going to try the custard but again, the employees were customer service excellent. “Today I decided after visiting Gail’s smoke shop I would check out the bbq joint next door ,it always smells so delicious !!! I walked in and I have to say they are under construction building a dining room however the two men that were working I assume the owner greeted me right away they were very pleasant and welcoming, I grabbed a menu started looking it over when he asked if I had ever been to the establishment then asked if I would like to try the candied bacon I said sure and omg it was amazing !!!!! I was sold! I ordered the CBLT candy bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich it came on an organic pretzel bun and had just the perfect amount of mayo! I will most definitely will be back for another the sandwich changed my life lol I’m definitely satisfied“

“We visited Camp Cataract since it was recommended to us during our recent visit to Niagara Falls. It is a great bar with a cool vibe, delicious drinks and awesome people. The owners, Brian and Courtney, treated us like family and made sure we had a great time. Kyle was an amazing server as well! In fact, we had such a good time the first night, we came back again the next night! I highly recommend visiting Camp Cataract when you're in town!“

“I avoided this place for a while because I assumed they just had hot dogs. I WAS WRONG! They have amazing sandwich and other options. I have had their Nashville hot chicken sandwich which is definitely a good choice. But honestly, my favorite thing is their fish fry sandwich that is only on the menu on Fridays during lent. It is by far the best fish fry sandwich in WNY! Luckily for us they are down the road from our sons' daycare so we order pickup frequently. When we order in advance and pickup on our way home, it is always ready for us and always warm.“

“Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight at Savor. Food was delicious-there were four of us—two of us had the pork chop and the other two had the Swiss burger. Well prepared, juicy, tasty. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. “By far one of the coolest bars in Buffalo! I've been wanting to stop by for awhile and was thrilled to finally be in the area and have some free time. I was pleased to find a tiny gothic literary themed spot with amazing and interesting drinks. You might have to be patient when ordering or getting a seat but it's well worth the it. This spot is decorated to the nines with Halloween-ish, gothic, spooky stuff and it's fun to check it all out. We tried the tepache which was alcohol made from a fermented pineapple and the watchdog cocktail. The tepache was super interesting and new to us. Was very sweet and pineapple-y. The watchdog was perfect for a cold dark night. It warmed me up and had hints of orange. Lots of neat and different kinds of drinks here and some bar snacks as well if you are hungry. Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu questions. They also serve absinthe and it's fun to watch them put it together. I also learned that this place serves as a community library. There are books all over and you are welcome to take or borrow some to read. They also make it clear they are LGBTQ+ friendly so all are welcome to come and enjoy.“

I would highly recommend to the parents who are looking for a really nice place to treat themselves to a delicious and “grown up” meal while having their infant with them. The staff were very warm and welcoming and we were offered a high chair right away. The washrooms also have a diaper change table.The atmosphere is classy and rustic, offering a bright, comfy setting. The food was delicious and the cocktails were made to perfection and very well balanced. I recommend the PEI mussels. I could’ve drank the sauce but luckily there was plenty of toasted sourdough to soak it up. Nicely paired with the Sauvignon blanc. The sticky toffee pudding is the perfect finish to a delightful treat.“

“They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches here and the baked bread selection is amazing. We always get a dozen pretzel and rosemary bagels to go and freeze them for later. They also have a nice selection of cream cheeses and other goodies like fresh eggs and pickled red onion in their cooler. Definitely recommend ordering online because there usually is a 20 min wait for sandwiches if you get there after 9am.“

They have a nice happy hour menu, I got a smaller portion of the cucumber salad that was seasoned well and a great portion for an individual app.For my main, I had gotten the burger which was DELICIOUS. The double patty with cheese gives you the perfect bun to meat ratio. Grilled to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The side of potatoes have a great crunch with a wonderfully fluffy interior and an even better side of chimichurri. Quite frankly I’d buy the chimichurri by the jar if I could.Lastly, for dessert I had the olive oil cake. It was nice and light, the brown butter applesauce added a nice balance. The fennel sugar smelled like fennel but was overpowering to the palate. And to top it all off I had a great stout with my meal as well.Overall, great atmosphere with great food to pair. “Went for the first time last week and the food was delicious. But I was especially impressed with the fact that they used coffee ice cubes in my iced coffee! I do this myself at home but have never been out to a restaurant that does it! Means as the ice cubes melt the coffee doesn't get diluted with water, because the ice cubes are just more coffee! “Been here a few times while using our WNY Beer Trail Pass. Always a good selection of beers on tap. Sometimes the bartenders are a bit quiey but at least they pay attention and keep your glass filled. We also joined a party that rented the place out for a wedding and that was a great time as well. Parking is a bit tough sometimes but never to the point where we cant get in. We will be back again once the weather warms up.“

“I was there Saturday night when the clock sprung forward who ever the bouncer was that night was amazing and made my night mentally peaceful I am injured and on crutches and he let me in told me to be careful. Through out the night he came and checked on me a couple times and after when I was waiting outside came over and talked for a bit ! I think we made it to about half the places he listed but they were all great. And his margaritas and palomas were't too shabby either.
