“This is such a cute place, we tried the wine and Gelato pairing event and we loved it. The place has a chill vibe with beautiful decor and the Gelato is very tasty. This is a versatile Cafe style place offering drinks, small bites, and of course a lot of gelato choices. It has a nice amount of seating, both tables and at the bar. We really enjoyed our time there and can't wait to experience the next pairing event.“

I’ve been there twice so far and have tried a few different drinks and they were all solid. Overall I wouldn’t say I’m a huge hard seltzer fan but I really love the cream soda one that they had on rotation at the time. Love me a cream soda, and it tastes so much like one, but with alcohol! In terms of beers, I tried the fruit sour beers called punchbowl, which had a couple varieties as well. If you’re into craft brews and maybe want to try something different with hard seltzers as well, I’d recommend giving them a visit. The staff is great and will let you try something before you buy the full size as well.“

“I avoided this place for a while because I assumed they just had hot dogs. I WAS WRONG! They have amazing sandwich and other options. I have had their Nashville hot chicken sandwich which is definitely a good choice. But honestly, my favorite thing is their fish fry sandwich that is only on the menu on Fridays during lent. It is by far the best fish fry sandwich in WNY! Luckily for us they are down the road from our sons' daycare so we order pickup frequently. When we order in advance and pickup on our way home, it is always ready for us and always warm.“

“Made a reservation here on a friend's recommendation when traveling to Niagara for the eclipse. We had the pleasure of speaking with the lovely owners, who provided a wonderfully hospitable service! The food itself was *incredible* - I had the Island Chicken Forever, with the croquettes and a bowl of gumbo on the side. Definitely authentic, and solidly in my Top 10 best meals I've ever had from any restaurant. My only regret is that I don't live close enough to try the rest of the menu; looking forward to a chance to return!“

“Overwinter is my favorite spot for coffee in Williamsville! The expresso is delicious, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well-trained. I can always count on getting a consistent cup of coffee. I encourage the owners to keep the space clean and well-maintained so that it doesn't turn into another dingy coffee chain (that's one of the reasons Overwinter became so attractive to me as a working professional in the beginning.) “By far one of the coolest bars in Buffalo! I've been wanting to stop by for awhile and was thrilled to finally be in the area and have some free time. I was pleased to find a tiny gothic literary themed spot with amazing and interesting drinks. You might have to be patient when ordering or getting a seat but it's well worth the it. This spot is decorated to the nines with Halloween-ish, gothic, spooky stuff and it's fun to check it all out. We tried the tepache which was alcohol made from a fermented pineapple and the watchdog cocktail. The tepache was super interesting and new to us. Was very sweet and pineapple-y. The watchdog was perfect for a cold dark night. It warmed me up and had hints of orange. Lots of neat and different kinds of drinks here and some bar snacks as well if you are hungry. Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu questions. They also serve absinthe and it's fun to watch them put it together. I also learned that this place serves as a community library. There are books all over and you are welcome to take or borrow some to read. They also make it clear they are LGBTQ+ friendly so all are welcome to come and enjoy.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches here and the baked bread selection is amazing. We always get a dozen pretzel and rosemary bagels to go and freeze them for later. They have a nice happy hour menu, I got a smaller portion of the cucumber salad that was seasoned well and a great portion for an individual app.For my main, I had gotten the burger which was DELICIOUS. The double patty with cheese gives you the perfect bun to meat ratio. Grilled to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The side of potatoes have a great crunch with a wonderfully fluffy interior and an even better side of chimichurri. Quite frankly I’d buy the chimichurri by the jar if I could.Lastly, for dessert I had the olive oil cake. It was nice and light, the brown butter applesauce added a nice balance. The fennel sugar smelled like fennel but was overpowering to the palate. And to top it all off I had a great stout with my meal as well.Overall, great atmosphere with great food to pair. “Rusty Nickel has a great variety of beers. Not 80% IPAs like most places now days. The outdoor space out back is really laid back and a cool place to hang out with friends. Was just there yesterday since the weather was nice. Highly recommend if you like good beer and a cool environment.“

Similar to a Fattey Beer, you can purchase beer to go out of coolers. There was no food menu, although they apparently allow outside food.Pricing is reasonable. They did have a mix of tables, chairs and a sofa. There are games you can play too, to help pass the time. I like that they have a sense of humor. The restroom by the door and the pictures inside are unique and fun..Give Bottle Rocket a try, it won't disappoint!“

“We went to visit during an art show, and the place is amazing. The murals are vibrant, and really take advantage of the space. It was surprisingly warm inside, even though it was 26 degrees out, and this was previously part of the food terminal, not a traditional commercial space.The tea was very nice and we'll have to stop back in and get more types to try.“

Sometimes the bartenders are a bit quiey but at least they pay attention and keep your glass filled. We also joined a party that rented the place out for a wedding and that was a great time as well.
