Colbeh catered Shabbat dinner for 70 people at my home. It could not have been nicer. Pejman arranged everything. The staff came early and set up beautifully, even making sure my tables were set properly. They had great suggestions how to set up appetizers and mains and desserts and beverages. And the food was amazing. It was plentiful and delicious and and a fantastic assortment of Persian and Jewish American dishes. And Colbeh’s humus and Mediterranean spreads are as good as they get. They sent a spectacular Challah and left no detail out. Their cleanup was also perfection making it easy for me. Just wonderful and thank you.

We had food delivered to Great Neck to celebrate the Holiday. I can’t praise this restaurant enough. Some of the most outstanding food we’ve eaten. They were so thoughtful, adding extra treats for us to try. Everything was eaten. Please come to Westchester!! We’re addicted.

What an absolute mess this restaurant is. I called to make a reservation for a big party AFTER shabbat. 3-4 weeks in advance. they confirmed it was available. After inviting my entire family for my fathers birthday , I decided to confirm with them today for tomorrow to make sure they remembered because when speaking to them on the phone I could tell they didnt have their act together. Guy tells me when he took my reservation that it was a MAYBE. seriously? they decided not to open after shabbat tomorrow without informing me. What would happen if I haven't called? WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT

As I write this review, I am unsure what is more full...my stomach or my heart! Several weeks ago, I attended an event in the Great Neck restaurant: an engagement celebration that took place in the beautiful, private back room. It was beyond phenomenal!!! The food was delicious...I could not believe the variety and quantity! The service was extraordinary! This week, I was planning a dinner for approximately 25 people. I recalled how wonderful the Colbeh experience was, so I reached out to the catering manager to inquire about pricing and menu options for my offsite event Within minutes of sending my email, I received a phone call back. And within minutes of finishing that phone call, I received a customized menu with pricing. I was concerned about contracting with Colbeh, as the event was important AND it would be my first time catering from Colbeh. For decades, I have used other caterers in NYC, but I was eager to have my guests experience the same culinary delight that I enjoyed weeks prior, so I booked Colbeh...AND IT WAS A GREAT DECISION! The food arrived hot...the guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything tasted...AND THERE WAS SOOOOO MUCH FOOD!!!!!!!! I have soooooo much leftover! I could have another party : ) The catering manager and ALL of his colleagues were extremely gracious. In fact, the gentleman who delivered the food went above and beyond any possible expectation...he helped set up our chafing dishes and display all of the food! He even gave a bracha! There were additional items in the order that we did not order...they were sent as special treats for us to try! I spoke with the catering manager today to thank him. He is a person of his word...because before I booked Colbeh, he assured me that I would be thrilled with my decision to choose Colbeh...and he was correct! I enthusiastically urge you to choose Colbeh for your next meal and/or your next lifecycle event. I am confident that you will write a similar review! We arrived with three adults and had a great time. The food and service were excellent. We ate mostly Persian food and it was a pleasure. The meat dishes were large with the addition of rice to choose from. The orange rice with sweet orange zest was great and the green rice we ordered with beef was also excellent. The waiters pampered us with extras at the expense of the house and we felt that this was the host place with a generous hand. Recommended for everyone and especially for kosher keepers.
