Was in the area and figured I would try the pizza here based on the good reviews. The pizza was fine. Nothing special given you can find amazing pizza in NY. Wouldn’t feel the need to write a review, but got violently ill from food poisoning. Unfortunately, will not be going back.

This is the best Italian pizza. I specially go from new hyde park to pick garlic bread, fresh bread and buffalo chicken rolls. The gentlemen at counter is a great human being and very respectful to everyone who comes at the shop. Keep it up.

I’m currently sitting here and eating the amazing pizza right now and everything about this was place was so good that I just had to stop and share this review to you guys. The owners (son and father) are amazing! We ate here on a Saturday night and we were so pleased to observe how many repeat customers walked in. The service was friendly, kind, and wonderful. We felt like family there.
We loved the antipasto and the special pizza. All was fresh and full of flavor.
Then we got the cannoli and cheesecake and savored every bite. We will come here again for sure!!

You would think in New York there would be plenty of Italian pizza places, real authentic Italian, but as I found out there really is only one in the queens area that gives you that old school Italian feel with amazing food. Francescas treated us like family the moment we walked in and on our first visit even threw in an extra garlic knot, the pizza is good pizza, the other dishes sound amazing but I haven't had the chance to really sit and enjoy them yet, amd the garlic knots are amazing, crispy yet not flakey on the outside with a soft and smooth center, and just enough butter to taste but not to soak your hands in. If you're in the area or struggling to find a worthy pizza place to call or go in, go to Francescas. The pizza joint ran with love and care from the kitchen to the front end.
