My son and I spent a couple of nights there this weekend while in town for a concert. The restaurant and bar were fantastic! We didn't get to see the room service robot (so cool!) in action but Patrick was kind enough to give us a thorough demonstration. Thanks again, Patrick!
Had some service related issues during my stay. I am presently in touch with management for a resolution, will update review once resolved.
The location and service are first-rate. The room needs some work. All of the electrical outlets need to be replaced. Had trouble finding outlets that would hold our plugs securely. The hot water in the shower ran out fairly quickly. The desk chair was squeaky. There was no heat in the room. The room was chilly and they only offered extra blankets. (Evidently they don't turn the heat on until October 15; we were there October 10-12 and it got a tad cold.) No ice bucket in the room and no ice maker on the floor; they did bring ice to the room if you called the front desk .
Great stay — no complaints! Chris, the bartender, was amazing — great personality and energy at the bar. Jennifer was also very pleasant and hospitable at the front desk. Great customer service all the way around with a great room!
Not a very friendly vibe. Room decor was okay, but smelled rather dusty. Location is okay if you like Great Neck, but it's right near the train station and our room was adjacent to the train tracks. They said there was triple-pane glass. It wasn't terribly loud, but we could hear the train in the morning.
I live around the area and come by often..
Chris is great! Amazing service all around.
Highly recommend!
We were really disappointed with this hotel. The staff was indifferent about concerns and the rooms are very dated. The AC was a huge issue...the room stayed at 75 the entire time we were and the room didn't cool down at all. For $250 a night it was not worth it. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. Amenities were lacking, no ice machines available, no refrigerator in the rooms and the outlets were terrible and not up to code.
The room need to renovation because some outlets are not working. Hair Dryer doesn’t have cold air button and only hot air. I didn’t expect hair dryer w/ hot air only at 4 stars hotel.
Housekeeper didn’t clean the shower tub before we check in.
I found someone’s long hairs at shower tub’s wall at day that I checked in.
I had the pleasure to have my mother's 85th birthday at the Inn at Great Neck. It was truly a wonderful experience. The food (Jamaican menu) was amazing, the service was great, and Jennifer Noguera who helped me organize the event was fantastic. I can't wait for my next event.
Go see Benjamin at the sushi bar. The freshest sushi you will ever have.

I stayed here for a few nights with my husband and I have to say it was such a great experience. The manager Nick and staff here are wonderful - they are so nice and professional, and they really care about making sure your stay is perfect. They got us booked with a beautiful balcony room. The room was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable- we got the best sleep in this hotel. The food was so fresh and everything was absolutely delicious in the restaurant. Marco Polo's really has such a unique menu, and the cocktails were amazing (I'm very picky and thought they were some of the best I've had). I can't say enough good things about this hotel and I can't wait to stay again soon.
Where do I start? From the service to the comfortability of the rooms the Great Neck Inn is where to stay and dine! The food is amazing. I highly recommend the Bruschetta flatbread, but you won’t be disappointed if you pick something else. The bartenders are what make the dining experience even better. They are social and fun and of course make great drinks! The front desk is always helpful and professional. I never mind valeting my car because the drivers always take good care of it. The hotel is in close proximity to the train station, so easy to get into the city. Then after a long day their rooms are unmatched! It is like sleeping at home and the rooms are as clean as can be! Definitely recommend booking your next stay at the Great Neck Inn.
We recently hosted my mother’s 70th birthday celebration at the Inn at Great Neck, and the entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Jennifer and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly. Patrick was especially attentive, regularly checking in with our guests to make sure everything was perfect.
The event space was elegant, beautifully arranged, and created the ideal atmosphere for a warm and memorable evening. The food was outstanding — delicious, artfully presented, and thoughtfully tailored to our group’s preferences. Service throughout the evening was impeccable: courteous, professional, and genuinely accommodating.
From planning to execution, the staff made the process seamless and enjoyable. If you're looking for a venue that offers elegance, excellent service, and a truly memorable experience, I wholeheartedly recommend the Inn at Great Neck. It was truly a night to remember.
My husband and I stayed here the week of our wedding, including over 40 family and friends. Gabriella and Jennifer were amazing, helping us figure out contracts and guest needs. I deducted one star because the night of our wedding we were promised decorations and a bottle of champagne. It was not set up when we returned, had to ask the front desk who forgot and then just dropped off cheap champagne and glasses, no decorations.
I would have deducted more points, as it did really bother me, but the two aforementioned women were so great that it overshadowed their mistake. If you have a wedding close by, this is a great place to stay. Very welcoming.
I just had my daughters wedding in the Great Neck area and had my guests from out of town stay at the Inn at Great Neck. I can’t say enough how many compliments I received about the hotel. Jennifer and Gabriella were extremely easy to work with and kept me updated on my room block. All the guests received the boxes I left for each guest. The hotel is in a great walkable location for guests. The rooms were clean and the restaurant was very nice. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.
