Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.

Guy greeted me warmly when I entered the restaurant for the first time as did the chef. I listened to jazzy gospel music while waiting for my order of dumplings, which were very tasty. Looking forward to trying the burgers I've heard great things about.

Good place to stop by for lunch in Great Neck! The Kai burger, double patties, is $18 but they make the patty fresh for each order. I loved the beef mushroom gyoza and can’t wait to come back for the other dumplings. The dumplings were crispy and juicy and my parents kept saying how the skin was perfectly thin. The salad and cucumber appetizers were super fresh too. Definitely a good spot if you’re craving burgers or dumplings!

The waiter spoke mandarin and was also very friendly and quick, my dad loved asking him about the chef and food hah.

If you'd like to have some burgers and you're meat lovers, I definitely recommend you to try 'Kai burgers'. I love how they cook the perfect meat and I like fries and crispy onion rings. Good foods with reasonable price here always It's make my day. Staff are friendly and ready to service with the foods come really fast. The restaurant also have enough space even you come with a large group or a couple and I like how they decorated with vintage style.

Had doubts when this first showed up in town with any combo fusion type menu, jack of all trades master of none. Daughter wanted a burger after Mathnasium so decided to give it a try figuring can't really mess up a cheeseburger too much. But wow, burger was really tasty and juicy on a soft brioche bun. Jaded from the bland burger joints we had in town, this a refreshing change. And that's just the burgers. Subsequent trips we tried their hometown dumplings and also in awe of their handmade pan fried dumplings. Nice thin chewy wrapper and crispy bottom. Meat fresh and hot frozen. Shoestring fries have a hint of McDonald's fry taste, and that's a good thing. Nicely salted. Bar always has patrons and they have a bogo happy hour that people seems to come and frequent. Glad to see them doing well and definitely hoping they survive the Great Neck food wasteland. We've made a regular spot to visit.
