Back at our favorite restaurant, some surprise! Marissa who always took care of us has left, but not to worry, a very young and beautiful young lady named Ashley has taken her place and was absolutely terrific . Service was great as always. The food never disappoints. Consistently great. Appetizers Fried artichokes in a lemony glaze, fatouch salad and babaganouch and fried chicken wings and then a really good pasta with chilies and vodka sauce . Of course the fantastic frozen whipped halvah for dessert. Chef Lenny was away doing a yearly event in Hawaii but the kitchen didn't miss a beat. Great food and service every time!

Oh my god, this place is absolutely incredible. We ate there Saturday night with a party of 10. We ordered multiple appetizers and multiple entrees, and there was nothing on the menu that wasn't outstanding. I had the dock with foie gras. It was absolutely incredible. For a cocktail I had the mescal drink on the cocktail menu. It was great, the tahini and halvah desert now ranks as the best desert I've ever had There was only one bad part about the entire evening.The restaurant is in great neck, new york.And I live in chicago, my loss.This place is a must go to place

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Lola. The chef is excellent and the selections we made were delicious as well as memorable. They were prepared to Michelin star quality. In addition, the staff is both welcoming and attentive which further added to the enjoyment of the evening. Kudos to the owner; we will assuredly return.

I arrived first and was seated immediately, offered water (tap, still,sparkling) and opted for tap. It was brought promptly. When my friend arrived, we were offered wine, etc. and that was also served promptly. We shared a cold appetizer of roasted beets and strawberries seasoned with za'atar which was very good and we ordered the duck as our main course. My friend requested ‘bread and was informed that bread (a single small pita) would be an additional dollar. This really bothered me. In a restaurant in which duck with no accompaniment is $38, bread should be offered at no charge. (It had not been offered at all.) The duck was delicious and we decided to share a dessert of excellent Turkish coffee cake served on a chocolate ganache. Our bill before tax and tip came to about $160. I'm not complaining about the bill, but at that price, charging $1 seemed ridiculous. Otherwise, food was definitely 5 star.

I’m not usually someone who writes restaurant reviews, but this is truly an experience worth sharing. From start to finish, everything was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly made, and the service overall was outstanding. The only thing that stood out to me, and that I feel is worth mentioning, was that our server’s clothing appeared to be quite dirty. It was surprising given the otherwise high standards of the restaurant. I believe that with more attention to this small detail, the overall experience would be flawless.
