Moonstone Modern Asian Cuisine & Bar

Moonstone is by far the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. It is gourmet as compared to the ubiquitous take out places and the prices reflect the quality. It is well worth it for a night out. Great bar. Fabulous food. Elegant ambiance and great service.

I went to Moonstone for the first time. Dinner with a group of currently working and retired teachers. This is a beautiful restaurant and the service was A+. The two ladies at the front desk are awesome and friendly. We ordered a combination of apps and entrees. All delicious!!! Spare rib app, steamed veggie dumplings, wonton soup, sesame tofu, tangerine chicken, and shrimp in lobster sauce. NOTE: The prices are a bit higher than other Asian Fusion restaurants. I would consider this a "special occasion' restaurant. The table of 10 next to us, was celebrating a birthday. Some families and many couples. The restaurant must be worthy because it was a Monday night and there was a good crowd. Upscale. Beautiful. Delicious. Make the trip to Moonstone!!!

Beautiful atmosphere, relaxing music, spacious dining area with comfortable seating and romantic yet bright lighting. Great for gatherings with family and friends or a quiet dinner for two. Service was top-notch, attentive and polite, very professional. The fresh noodles and duck sauce on the table was fresh and delicious as was our choice of appetizers and entrées. The shrimp fried rice was enough for four people to share. Shrimp was fresh and tender. Sushi was equally as delectable. They offer lunch specials, and takeout too. Prices are average for the area and their convenient parking lot is large.
We will be back!

Great place to eat Asian food. First time here and we are happy to take the ride from Nassau county on a Saturday night traffic to try this restaurant.

This Asian restaurant is beautiful and the staff were all wonderful. We had a great time and the food was fresh. We drove from Merrick and it was worth the drive during traffic. No regrets. We will be back and we highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Delicious food. I ordered noodle soup with duck and veggies for my main meal and had yellowtail sushi for my appetizer. Everything was so fresh and tasty and nice presentation. Will certainly return. Atmosphere was peaceful and eloquent and service was top notch. Went back to order the Peking Duck very tasty but too salty.

Delicious food with extensive menu. The service was excellent. They go out of their way for you. Highly recommended!

We always can count on a calming and pleasant dinner here. The service is prompt and attentive. The food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared and served. We stick to fish and vegetarian, and there are a number of delicious choices. We tend to go on Sunday evenings or sometimes during the week, and when it's a bit quieter than Saturday evenings. But I would enthusiastically recommend it at any time.

Always delicious food, excellent service, and very clean. Well worth the money! We always get two meals from whatever we order.

Food was very good but the kitchen is tied to a computerized ordering systems, so you cannot deviate from the ingredients described on the menu. We requested pea pods instead of broccoli on our shrimp dish. Guess what? All broccoli and not a single pea pod. Very disappointing.

This is our third trip to Moonstone. So far we have not been disappointed. They have an extensive menu which might lead you to believe that the cuisine is average... think diner, but it's a cut above and very good.

Came to Moonstone with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. Our server was wonderful, very attentive and the food was delicious as always. At dessert they brought me out dessert and sang Happy Birthday. Moonstone helped make my celebration a great one.

WOULD RATE THIS PLACE A 20 IF I COULD ... AMAZING SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE WOULD HIGHLEY RECOMMEND ... WE WERE A TOTAL OF 10 PEOPLE AND THE SERVER ALEX TOOK CARE OF US LIKE WE WERE A TABLE OF 5 ! AMAZING FOOD ! FRESH AND CLEAN !
