My favorite steak house of all times. Old time classic and service is great from bartender to server to front of house. Can’t wait to come back!

Called in ahead and notified there will be a service dog. Made the reservation two days ahead. When we arrived the front desk won't let us in. We had brought the same dog before with no problem. Will not be back again. Horrible manager today. Need to be more respectful about service animal laws

Went for dinner tonight with family ,from the moment we walked in felt very welcomed ,busy bar very nice bartender ,metro di was a gentleman, had a great time, can't praise enough how good dinner was ,steak was as expected as well as appetizers ,my son and I ordered the bacon slices and enjoyed it very much my daughter had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and it was really jumbo (U10 -12??),we also enjoyed their onion rings and potatoes (roasted mashed??) creamed spinach was a bit salty but no big deal.
Service was top , waiters very attentive ,you could tell they enjoy their jobs ,could notice team work .didn't have to ask for anything as they anticipated all our needs ,kudos guys ,well done.

Not sure why some people are down on this classic. We hadn't been here in 12 years, but the restaurant didn't miss a beat.

Food was perfect and as expected. Waiter Nick was as good as we've had serving us ANYWHERE!

I came to Great Neck Peter Luger not long after I went to Brooklyn Peter Luger. This place is much friendlier. I felt it again.

We traveled to this restaurant from Maryland, which is 4 hours away. Cashier lady and valet parking man are disrespected /rudeness.

Jumbo shrimps were NOT fresh, so I had to return it.

I spent $300 for my lunch there but it wasn't pleasured.

Never go back.

We had an amazing evening celebrating our Anniversary. The steak was Amazing!! The sides were okay. I would also suggest adding some kid friendly choices to the menu.
But our waiter was wonderful. I can’t thank him enough for making our experience memorable.

Step back in time, when food was exquisite, menus were simple, service was about, well, service, and payment options were either cash or house credit. That’s Peter Luger’s, New York’s première steakhouse since the 1800s.

This review is for the Great Neck location. Have eaten at this location at least 3 times over the past year. Very classy and accommodating.

The menu is short and sweet. Pick out your steak (steak for 1, 2, 3, you get the idea) and your sides, enjoy, order dessert.

This place has the best wedge salad in the US, piping hot golden fries, and excellent sides. Recommend the cream spinach, mushrooms, and the recently added to menu asparagus.

There are a few cuts of steak, but I’d say the most popular would be “steak for x number of people,” which will be a T-bone/Porterhouse - which is both filet and strip steak. The beef is top quality and dry aged in house for more than 20 days.

Recommend the Holy Cow Sundae for dessert, with a big helping of house made schlaag (heavy whipped cream, which also goes well on coffee.)

The waiters are present, prompt, attentive and friendly.

Valet parking is free - please leave a good tip. If you like great steak and service, come here. Cash, debit cards, checks and house credit accounts are the only forms of payment.

Shoutout to Alex and Andrew. Welcome to the new Maître D, also an Alex, and respect the recently retired Maître D, Kevin. Had the pleasure of dining here last month as well, coincidentally on Kevin’s last night.

We ordered the porterhouse for 4 and caesar salads and a few other things that I can't recall. Everything was as expected, even the drinks.
