“This is an order-at-the-counter type place. It was packed with folks picking up takeout and some door dash folks. We were one of the take out orders. Got street tacos and they were legit. Also ordered the chicken mole, rice and beans. My socks were knocked off by the rice and beans and the chicken was delicious. We went back the next day for more. They also had an assortment of vittles (savory and sweet) at the counter.

Update: been there three times and have never been disappointed!! Ordered the chorizo burrito. Good heat level on the sauces that come with it, delicious chorizo flavor. Rice and beans are AMAZING as well. Picked up another couple of tamales de pollo for lunch as well. Great place!!

Vegetarian options: Not sure if there’s animal fat in the beans.

Parking: Lots of space in the lot. Strip-mall look.“

“On our way back from Lake George, an opportune place cropped up in our searches for Mexican cuisine - namely Sabor Azteca. Located in Clifton in a regular plaza right by the highway (convenient for our on-wards journey), we decided to stop by for lunch.
Upon entering the rather large establishment, we were greeted by a bubbly waitress and walked by a buffet with bottles lined along the top before being seated. It appeared that there was a sizeable patio too, which I reckon would get busy enough during evenings for dinner.
We were then handed salsa with warm tortilla chips which were great. In addition we ordered guacomole that was served in a stone heavy base from which it was crushed and prepared. We ordered a variety of dishes including crab torillas, quesadillas and empanadas. All of which was authentic and excellent in flavour. This was accompanied by a fruity and strong alcoholic beverage recommended by the waitress that my wife enjoyed.
All in all, a lively and colourful interior matched with good food and drink made for an excellent stop for lunch!

“Had a late lunch/early dinner yesterday. I ordered the “Langosta El Mariachi”. OMG!!! It was beyond delicious! The lobster tails were stuffed with shrimp and scallops with a creamy white sauce and cheese... the green beans seasoned perfectly with fresh garlic, the rice was cooked to perfection. The meal was perfectly plated and resembled a piece of art. I enjoyed every morsel. The lobster,shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a wonderful and warm ambiance and it is very clean. I highly recommend everyone to experience their own dining experience here. You won’t be disappointed. “AMAZING oxacan cuisine. Amazing green green salsa and thicker tortilla chips . It's very spicy with lots of flavor. We had chicken mole y chicken quesadilla. FANTASTICO . great Mexican flavors . Rich mole que ricoooooo. Will definitely come again. Waitress was beyond nice and inviting. Good quality togo containers, too, for the large portions. The coffee is very unique and has chocolate taste. For the price, you get a LOT OF FOOD . Great munchies for later. Rice and beans cooked perfecto. I didn't even get a picture because we ate it up so quickly. I would say the quesadilla is more on a drier side, but it didn't bother me, really. It still had good seasoning and flavor. I also got corn tortilla, but you can get flour. Very fresh ! Looked homemade. The chicken was beyond tender for the mole. Stewed just enough to stay on the bone but literally fell apart with the touch of the fork. I'm so glad an amazing Mexican place took over the Troy kitchen spot. It's a well-deserved restaurant for how amazing Troy Kitchen was. The only thing was it was a bit cold, and the lighting was dimmer, but they also just opened it. It really doesn't bother me that much bc the food was just 10/10. The decorations are very traditional, and the napkins are folded cutesy into triangles. A lot of love is put into the whole restaurant, and you can tell. It literally made my morning to walk in at 10 am and get delicious oxacan. I do wanna say if you are not used to more authentic Mexican, you might be very surprised what you get . This way, it is more traditional and not Mexican American.“

“I run a social group for adults with developmental disabilities. We went to the Cinco de Mayo Buffay at ponchos restaurant. The owner and staff there and over backwards to give us a good time. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was phenomenal.“
