Al Punto Picante offers an amazing dining experience. This family-run place is a quiet spot that serves fresh, authentic, and delicious food. Popular dishes include carne asada burrito, carnitas tacos, and tamales. The service is personable, pleasant, and accommodating, with the owner, who is originally from Mexico, speaking English well. The Hibiscus drink is a popular favorite. Customers appreciate the very authentic Mexican food, with some calling it the most authentic and well done in the Capital Region. Dishes like steak quesadilla, enchilada Verde, salsa, guacamole, eggs with longaniza sausage, shrimp and chicken fajitas, birria quesadilla, and beef stew are noted as very flavorful and cooked well. Even the rice and beans are beautifully seasoned. While there can be a wait, especially during busy times, the food is considered well worth it. It's a place likely to become a regular stop for many.
