“Melville Deli catered a breakfast at our elementary school for 150 people. Simaan was extremely helpful during the ordering process. The food arrived hot and exactly on time. “The owners here take the time to get to know their customers, it says a lot about a deli/convenience store that has "regulars"! On many occasions, when looking for a specific item, the owner would tell me he'll order it, he's also asked if there's anything else I'd request be carried in the store. The deli sandwiches are really good, and not at all expensive. “Went at 11AM on a Sunday. The parking lot was a puzzle of cars trying to get in and out and just parking anywhere they could. There was a minimal line inside. We had the steak, the chicken and the Cuban sandwiches. They were all AMAZING. The chicken and the Cuban melted my fat heart. I then ordered some to go for later on, since I live in Queens. I hope I'm out by this area again so I can order it again. Cash only, and don't look for cleanliness, just order and enjoy.“

“Hands down the best deli on Long Island!!!! Bacon is amazing, service is unmatched, and prices are normal. I’ve been coming to Huntington as of recently due to a new lady I am dating. I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. I was so surprised at the price of my egg sandwich amongst everything going up these prices were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly and it was the best egg sandwich I’ve probably ever had. We also purchased the Farfalle pasta salad and chicken Caesar pasta salad. I would say prices are kinda high but then again i like to get extra food incase a coworker doesn't have any food or to bring home for dinner. I do wish the bagels were a bit better. “My favorite bagel spot in the Northport area, bagels are soft and chewy and my usual order of sausage, bacon, egg, and pepper jack SPK on an egg bagel was always on point. The sandwich felt smaller than other places but when you compare the quality it's something that won't bother you.“

“The Blue Sky Deli is not called "Chopped Cheese Delicious" but the food and the staff have not changed. I wanted to have one of their Chopped Cheese sandwiches for dinner and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is now $8.00 so it is not as cheap as it was before. Still the sandwich, which is basically a chopped up double cheeseburger with spices on a hero roll that is pressed, is still excellent. It is a great sandwich and really filling. The sandwiches are made well with the usual Boars Head and they do not skimp on portion. The star of the deli is the wonderful breads. The rye is marble and delicious. This is the best deli Ive been to aside from Kitchen Cabaret on Glen Cove Rd. The only problem is the DAMN PICKLE ...I cant stand pickle flavor near my sandwhich. No matter how emphatic I am, I still get that damn pickle wrapped in the second piece of paper 50% of the time. I have gotten catering from them many times. Very good. Food is good and they wrap , label nicely. They close early as most deli's do ..... why not provide delivery of DINNER at the end of the day? I certainly would love to call in and have soup and a sandwich for me my husband, and a salad of hot food for my kids dropped off at the end of the day BEFORE I have to worry about dinner.“
