Was working in Huntington the other day and had our lunch break over at Bay Deli, which has a good selection of sandwiches and a nice, young staff working there. I was looking for a chicken cutlet type sandwich and one of the girls recommended I get "The Slacker" which is a popular sandwich there. Chicken Cutlet, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, Cheese, and Hot Sauce (Nice touch) on a Poppy Roll, and it was a really decent lunch. Terrible service! About a month ago I went to buy a chicken sandwich ( slacker one ) which it would cost me around $10,00 but somehow when I gave my debit card to one of the staff he ended up charging me $90,00 for a chicken sandwich. By the time I noticed that, I tried to call the deli 3 times and one of the staff said that he would tell the owner to give me a call back which he never did. Second and third time that I tried to reach them out the same staff was extremely rude...read full review
I sent my 11 year old into this deli to get some sandwich's. I guess ripping off a small child was too tempting. They made him a ham and cheese with only 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese. Shame on you Bay Dell for taking advantage. Update they said it was a accident. I guess they slipped and fell and arm could only pull on the meat slicer 2 times. Add insult to situation, adults who got sandwiches at same time had normal amounts . So I guess they only rip off 11 year...read full review
