“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?”

“Can’t say enough good things about Tommy Tacos. They catered a birthday party for us and the experience was 10/10. Tom was extremely easy to communicate with through both calls and text. He was in touch with me throughout the entire process, from planning up until after the catering order was delivered. Tom took the time to tailor the catering order to exactly what I was looking for and really made things easy for me.

And that’s not even talking about how good the actual food was. Everyone at the party was asking about who we used for the catering because the food was delicious. I was more than happy to spread the word about Tommy Tacos.”

“Vauxhall has been one of our favorite places for a burger or the fried chicken sandwich. Yesterday, 5//7/24… we went for a late lunch. I decided to try the new Double Smash burger. It was by far, the best burger I’ve ever had. My wife had her usual, the fried chicken sandwich. We’ve never had anything but a great meal and drink at our favorite Huntington haunt.”

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!”

I went in expecting a very limited menu, it actually took me some time to decide due to the variety of options. I was very impressed both cold and hot sandwich options. For my snackers, aisles of chips and small bite grabs. Not to mention organized and spotless!”

“Foods ok for what it is. I think I like the fries better than McDonald's. They put these huge speed bumps in the driveway to stop people from using it as a cut through. They are too high and I believe they can damage low cars even at slow speeds. I think it's a bad move.”

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Give them a try, you will be back for more!”

Diagonally across the street from the Paramount Theater on NY AVE. Overall, this cute little 'mom & pop owned' place is very well done. (thumbs up)”

As he was backing his car out I must have had my WTF face on as I was shaking my head. He lowered his window and started in with an insane rant. Told him he was rude and insulting and I didn't want to hear it. He continued even as I got in my car. This guy was crazy enough that he could have gotten violent. The sad part is, for years I have been patronizing Fiorello Dolce even though it is a 20 minute drive from home. I have also recommended them to several people as the best bakery around. You can be sure of two things: I will never go back there again and I will share this story with as many people as possible.”

I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. I was so surprised at the price of my egg sandwich amongst everything going up these prices were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly and it was the best egg sandwich I’ve probably ever had. Deff come here if you want a delicious egg sandwich without having to refinance your house!”

“Literally the greatest food I’ve ever eaten, ever. Full stop. I’ve been a loyal customer since high school, and through college, living overseas and living out of state, Gold Mine is a must visit whenever I’m in town. If I were about to be executed, my last meal would be: Cajun chicken quesadilla, chips with melted cheddar, lemon chip sauce, and Dave’s pico de gallo. A little guac and sour cream on the side but honestly the pico and lemon chip are more important. The food is SO good that guac is an afterthought. Usually guac is the first thing people consider when having Mexican. My biggest fear is that Dave will retire. I wish he’d write a cookbook. My only “complaint,” if you can call it that, is that it’s primarily a takeout joint, although there are tables and you’re totally welcome to sit there and eat. I’m a sucker for ambience and I’d happily pay top dollar for waitstaff and charm out the wazoo so I can sit there with friends and have a full dining experience. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that it’s the best food in the galaxy.”

We were really looking forward to eating here, knowing the restaurant had just recently open. While my drink was delicious, my husband's was a watered down old fashioned. Next comes the ridiculous part--when I was booking a reservation, I checked out menus thoroughly. On their website, I viewed their menu. Never saw a brunch menu. Our reservation was at 3. We got there 10 minutes early and were seated. Brunch menu still on the table. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back, I asked when dinner started (now I know 3pm is early for dinner, but we were hoping for apps). She said brunch is served until 5pm. We were at a loss. We ordered the breakfast pizzette to just try something. It came out at least 20 minutes later and it was cold. Eggs were cold. Pizza crust was cold. Barely any prosciutto and what was there was burned. No fondue on our pizza as described, and the arugula smelled awful--it was starting to turn. We couldn't get our check fast enough. Will not be going back. Definitely focus on food before trying to build a social media following with swanky decor.”
