“Our favorite Korean restaurant in Long Island. The food was amazing and the service thoughtful and efficient. The restaurant feels upscale, very classy with a modern style. Plenty of parking too.”

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?”

“I had the most fantastic dinner & cocktails at Swallow Kitchen Greenlawn this past Saturday w/ friends from out of town! First off, The Server was kind and took great care of us! The food was terrific, and the Cocktails were to die for! 🤩🥳😍 Mushroom toast with/ Marscarpone was AMAZING, Steak AMAZING, Mussels-The broth was So good! Tuna Tartare- the Lemon Aioli I'm still dreaming about, Grilled Octopus- grilled to perfection, Street corn- tarragon flavor really came out. My Husband Loved the Chicken Tostadas. We had no room left - but I want to return for the Nom Nom Noodles and everything else!!”

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!”

“I really enjoyed my lunch at Miss Sakura, a lovely family-owned restaurant. I was served by their son, Danny—he’s only 15 years old, but he’s already doing an excellent job: attentive, polite, and confident.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and truly authentic with a comforting, homey Japanese feel. What stood out most was how the family continually checked in to make sure everything was perfect—you genuinely feel cared for here.

As he was backing his car out I must have had my WTF face on as I was shaking my head. He lowered his window and started in with an insane rant. Told him he was rude and insulting and I didn't want to hear it. He continued even as I got in my car. This guy was crazy enough that he could have gotten violent. The sad part is, for years I have been patronizing Fiorello Dolce even though it is a 20 minute drive from home. I have also recommended them to several people as the best bakery around. You can be sure of two things: I will never go back there again and I will share this story with as many people as possible.”

“Hands down the best deli on Long Island!!!! Bacon is amazing, service is unmatched, and prices are normal. I’ve been coming to Huntington as of recently due to a new lady I am dating. I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. I was so surprised at the price of my egg sandwich amongst everything going up these prices were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly and it was the best egg sandwich I’ve probably ever had. Deff come here if you want a delicious egg sandwich without having to refinance your house!”

I’ve been a loyal customer since high school, and through college, living overseas and living out of state, Gold Mine is a must visit whenever I’m in town. If I were about to be executed, my last meal would be: Cajun chicken quesadilla, chips with melted cheddar, lemon chip sauce, and Dave’s pico de gallo. A little guac and sour cream on the side but honestly the pico and lemon chip are more important. The food is SO good that guac is an afterthought. Usually guac is the first thing people consider when having Mexican. My biggest fear is that Dave will retire. I wish he’d write a cookbook. My only “complaint,” if you can call it that, is that it’s primarily a takeout joint, although there are tables and you’re totally welcome to sit there and eat. I’m a sucker for ambience and I’d happily pay top dollar for waitstaff and charm out the wazoo so I can sit there with friends and have a full dining experience. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that it’s the best food in the galaxy.”

Next comes the ridiculous part--when I was booking a reservation, I checked out menus thoroughly. On their website, I viewed their menu. Never saw a brunch menu. Our reservation was at 3. We got there 10 minutes early and were seated. Brunch menu still on the table. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back, I asked when dinner started (now I know 3pm is early for dinner, but we were hoping for apps). She said brunch is served until 5pm. We were at a loss. We ordered the breakfast pizzette to just try something. It came out at least 20 minutes later and it was cold. Eggs were cold. Pizza crust was cold. Barely any prosciutto and what was there was burned. No fondue on our pizza as described, and the arugula smelled awful--it was starting to turn. We couldn't get our check fast enough. Will not be going back. Definitely focus on food before trying to build a social media following with swanky decor.”

“On June 1, 2025, my mother and I checked in about 4:30. They had a table for two available. We ordered the Porterhouse for two (MR), Brussel sprouts and mushrooms. DELICIOUS. The service (server Kelly) was top-notch. Quality high-end food in a comfortable atmosphere. The next time we're in Huntington, we will dine again. Thanks. The view was amazing too.”

“Visted establishment this past Sunday around 1:00 AM. Was looking for a top-rated burger joint in Huntington and decided to give this restaurant a try. I was greeted by a very pleasant young man, and I found the food to be excellent. I ordered the single burger, fries, and onion rings; everything was delicious, well-priced, and the portions were very generous.

However, a few concerns regarding the cleanliness of the dining area. The floors appeared as though they hadn't been cleaned in some time. Additionally, I noticed the staff member used Windex to clean the tables, which led me to take my meal to go rather than dining in.

I would have loved to leave a five-star review because the service and food were so good, but the condition of the restaurant was a significant deterrent. Hopefully they will improve the experience for future guests.”
