“I met Luka (not sure if I spelled that right) while I was walking in Huntington. We got to talking about G Taste. I love crepes and used to make them for my children when they were young. I had just walked past their sign a short while before meeting Luka. I promised him I would come by & check them out. Yesterday I was walking in Huntington again and saw their sigh again. Remembering my promise to Luka I stopped in. It wasn’t time for dinner yet & lunch was already eaten so I decided on the mixed berry crepe to take home for dessert. While it was being made I had a cup of coffee & chatted with the young man who works there ( I apologize, I forgot his name) he was a true pleasure to chat with! When my crepe was ready we walked outside & I finished my coffee and we said our goodbyes. The crepe was absolutely DELICIOUS! I cannot wait to go back again. The coffee was very good too and best of all, everyone is so very friendly! Definitely a place to try!”

“Lots of fun visiting this location with my family. The café team was very nice and understanding as we were with a 6-year-old and 4-year old. They helped introduce the kids to the cats, even putting out treats so the cats would come out by them. After it was time to visit the cats we were able to enjoy the food and drinks from the café. Lots of fun to get my coffee while in support of a business helping animals in need.”

He reluctantly agreed came in on a busy Saturday night no reservation. Initially told an hour wait but they were able to seat us in this look nook area within minutes and I absolutely loved this little intimate cozy spot. I love margaritas initially I wasn't going to get one and was going to stick to wine but my husband ordered one as I stepped out to get something from the car. This is now one of my fav places for a good marg! I ended up having 4 usually it's 2 max! We started with a app special burrata, artichokes and peppers and yum yum so delicious! We decided to split a pasta and meat yikes incredibly good! I mean just outstanding pork with eggplant, prosciutto and mozz over a Marsala sauce oh my just incredible! Pasta another hit too perfect amount of cream just a touch and those mushrooms yum! We ended up going back a week later and I went with their bolognese another amazing hit! I also had their creamy burrata with prosciutto just so good. My goal is to try everything on their menu! Their pizzas look amazing too so looking forward in trying them.”

“It may still be awhile before Huntington has satisfactory Tex-Mex or Cajun or Southern comfort food, but at least we have this terrific South Asian restaurant. I had the lamb curry and my partner the Butter Chicken and both dishes were fantastic. The lamb was, well, like butter; it was possibly the best braised lamb I’ve ever had in any cuisine. I hope the chef tries his/her hand at other lamb dishes—Korma or Passanda.The atmosphere is low key and just right for the area; the service friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to Bombay Grill, and ordering plenty of take-out.”

“Duck Island Bakery is Quacking Good . This bakery is a stone throw from the village of Huntington located in Southdown. This spot offers delicious pastries and fresh bread that is perfect for any gathering. Everything is made fresh and the people working here are really nice. When you walk inside it smells so good. I recently got the chocolate croissant block which is a looker and a crowd pleaser with the flaky and chocolaty goodness. There is some outdoor seating but this is more of a grab and go spot and with a parking lot this is a huge plus as the village of Huntington has gotten too busy. In short: - Delicious pastries and breads - Grab and go spot with a parking lot - Some outdoor seating”

I loved that the deviled eggs weren't typical. The yolk that's usually inside was spread underneath the eggs so you could eat it with a spoon or scoop into the egg yourself. The French onion soup was middle of the road but the birthday sandwich was great. I really loved the bacon jam or whatever was on it. The service was great. We shared saganiki (a melted cheese and grilled tomato dish) it was warm and flavorful. It had warm feta w tomato on top w melted Greek cheese. Came w pita a good start to share. I had octopus well cooked and lots of flavor it came w onion and green peppers under it. My friends did salads one w gyro meat and they took off what she didn't like and add more of what she liked. My other friend had salad w souvlaki she like the marinade meat but the chunks need to be cut smaller for her. She like the tzatziki sauce. One friend order for her husband to take home and rice pudding. She said he loved his dish and the rice pudding was good tasting. They don't make ice tea but do have refillable soda. So all good. Portion due was enough to take extra home for another day.”

The sandwiches are made well with the usual Boars Head and they do not skimp on portion. The star of the deli is the wonderful breads. The rye is marble and delicious. This is the best deli Ive been to aside from Kitchen Cabaret on Glen Cove Rd. The only problem is the DAMN PICKLE ...I cant stand pickle flavor near my sandwhich. No matter how emphatic I am, I still get that damn pickle wrapped in the second piece of paper 50% of the time. I have gotten catering from them many times. Very good. Food is good and they wrap , label nicely. They close early as most deli's do ..... why not provide delivery of DINNER at the end of the day? I certainly would love to call in and have soup and a sandwich for me my husband, and a salad of hot food for my kids dropped off at the end of the day BEFORE I have to worry about dinner.”

“Spent the most amazing evening with friends - spontaneous get together!!Our friends suggested the time and my husband picked the venue - Besito Mexican!The ambiance is cosy - some might find it a little dark and music tad on the higher side - but it did not bother me as such.To begin with we had the chips and Guacamole - we requested them to make it a little on the spicier side.The different mocktails that we order were delicious and spot on!Now for the main course - I had the Shrimp Jalisco - this dish was very well presented and TASTY.. a little on the sweeter side, but Tasty!The rest of the dishes on the table were El Dorado, Chicken and Veg Tacos - everyone enjoyed their food but I think the Shrimp Jalisco stood out !!Let's talk about Desserts now - we ordered the Chocolate Pudding, Tres leches and the Churros - which we polished off during an hour long conversation - it was almost closing time - it was an amazing evening, time just flew by with delicious food, wonderful company in a beautiful place!!Thank you Lord!”

The best grilled cheese I've ever had. I dont know what the cook puts in the grilled cheese sandwich but its definately the best one Ive ever had in my life. Special treat is on Mondays, they have a gentleman that creates balloon characters for kids for free. Its definately family friendly and a true hidden gem in long island.”

“I got the $1 tacos for a promotion they were having. The wait was a little long because it was kind of the peak time at night but the food was delicious and the price was really good for the food. Would come back for more tacos!! Their yellow sauce was good but would have liked to try the green sauce, which they ran out. Will try next time.”
