Katie Mc's Irish Pub Bar • $

“Nice little pub. Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible, prices are very budget friendly, staff is accomodating and friendly, easy parking, classic games / pool table, light snacks, they have no/low alcohol options (beverages) ... a great place to meetup with a grouo of people. Diagonally across the street from the Paramount Theater on NY AVE. Overall, this cute little 'mom & pop owned' place is very well done. (thumbs up)“

“Just love this place. Just visited them again after 25 years this past week. I have lived in Huntington most of my life and had a real nice experience here on that day. The people I newly met and the food I was served (which was a burger and O rings) was just cooked to perfection. And our bartender Lorinne was the sweetest. I will definitely make a trip back there.“

“The best local bar in town! Bartender is a sweetheart. Best spot in town for pool and darts. DJ starts at 11:30 and dance floor gets going. If your into a bar without a cover and line in a town that most bars have both.. definitely go to JTs“

Huntington Village Tavern Bar • $

“I normally don't frequent bars but came here with friends on a Friday night. It wasn't too crowded and I did enjoy the upbeat early 2000s music they were playing. There was a pool table in use in the back. Bathrooms were clean. Prices also seemed ok given the area and they seemed to have frequent specials. We had space to sit and talk. It did take some time to get our drinks ordered given the number of customers but the front of house staff were putting in effort. Overall the place has a nice homely feel that I would take over the bars I had been go on the past.“

“Made a reservation here for our first night out since our second baby was born. As a parent, a night out is so few and far between when you have a toddler and an infant. We were really looking forward to eating here, knowing the restaurant had just recently open. While my drink was delicious, my husband's was a watered down old fashioned. Next comes the ridiculous part--when I was booking a reservation, I checked out menus thoroughly. On their website, I viewed their menu. Never saw a brunch menu. Our reservation was at 3. We got there 10 minutes early and were seated. Brunch menu still on the table. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back, I asked when dinner started (now I know 3pm is early for dinner, but we were hoping for apps). She said brunch is served until 5pm. We were at a loss. We ordered the breakfast pizzette to just try something. It came out at least 20 minutes later and it was cold. Eggs were cold. Pizza crust was cold. Barely any prosciutto and what was there was burned. No fondue on our pizza as described, and the arugula smelled awful--it was starting to turn. We couldn't get our check fast enough. Will not be going back. Definitely focus on food before trying to build a social media following with swanky decor.“
