“Stayed at this hotel for a three day trip in two different rooms with my family. We were booked under two different reservations for different nights for an event. The evening we arrived, we checked in on the Hilton Honors app and chose our room for the night on the first floor. King Sized bed, fold out couch bed, it was a tired room- the desk was falling off of the wall, we encountered a centipede roaming around, there was a stain on the wallpaper, and the room needs a serious refresher and deep clean. The bathroom needs updating and deep cleaning- the shower head is lower on the wall so showering for a taller person was a bit awkward. That aside, the bed was comfy, and it was a good night's sleep. Nights two and three were booked on the 4th floor and chosen by the Hilton Honors app. We entered the room and it was the same setup as the other room but was in better shape than the last room. Again- comfortable beds provided a great night's sleep. We did take the time to use the hotel pool while there. The pool area was quiet most of the time and there were plenty of clean towels available for use. The lobby bar was staffed by friendly bartenders who were attentive to the needs of the guests. The hotel lobby always smelled and looked clean, the staff there is fantastic. Overall it was a great stay.“
“Ordered takeout a couple of times before and went to their Easter brunch event (which was phenomenal). The staff were lovely / genuinely caring and you can tell, really wanted all of the kids (and adults) to have a great time. Love this place and will be going back. Thank you Madison and team!“
“We tried brunch here for the first time because the menu looked good , and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with nice pillows and comfortable seats. The menu for brunch had so many good options I changed my mind 3 times, but was talked into the Gruyère burger with an egg on it. It ended up being one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were good too. Everyone was very happy with their meals . The drinks were good and the tres leches bread pudding was out of this world. Our waitress was amazing she was helpful and extremely nice.Overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back to try some other options on the menu.“
“I have really loved going there. The only complain would be the side salad. The Caesar dressing is awful and they have no ranch dressing. The steaks are good, but we are from Kansas City, so there's that. The meatloaf and other meals have been very good and we go on a fairly regular basis.“
“Kayla was our server, and supplied the vibe. She recommended the Speck pizza with hot honey, and that pizza changed my life. So damn good! I’m not kidding when I say that I loved it so much I ordered another one to go, to enjoy later that night. That smoked mozzarella ?. The Gnocchi was awesome and they even offer it in a bread bowl! The Italian sodas are also good, if you love natural ginger flavor, the apple ginger one for sure hits.“
“What a fun concept! This was so a fun and unique experience! Had to solve a riddle to get into the secret entrance inside of an ice cream shop! The drinks and staff were fabulous. We were able to hear live music in this cozy basement speakeasy! True history as well!Kid-friendliness: This is a bar in a small basement space. I would not recommend kids. I'm not sure if they are permitted. Get a sitter and go check it out!“
“This place is always spot on. Service is always with a smile, a place that remembers their regulars, consistent pours, consistently great food. Their HAPPY HOUR is an awesome deal also. The owner is always engaged with his patrons and encourages feedback.Highly recommended!!!“
“Delicious Cuban food and service! We had the smoked pork chops, boiled yucca, moros, black beans, oxtail, fried grouper, flounder in garlic sauce, and a salad. We also got ham croquettes and the extremes platter (Cuban antipasto) as an app. We cleaned almost everything on our plates due to how good it was, and also had some flan for dessert and churros and tres leches. The drinks were good and nicely spiked, we all liked the hurricane, mojito, and iced tea. Price was not bad for all that we had. Very good and will come back :)“
“Great experience and surprise! I loved my food choices recommended by one of the owners who is a ray of sunshine! Scrumptious warm baked bread with a spicy guava sauce! Shrimp Stroganoff with mushrooms rice and stick potatoes was delicious! Yucca fries were amazing. Cannot wait to come back!“
“What an adorable little place for a cocktail! Cute and cozy vibes. Friendly bartender. Interesting and moderately priced drinks. We stopped in for some pre dinner cocktails and were really impressed with this place. Will definitely be back!“
“This is the 2nd time I've visited MaBella, and it was another delightful experience! The chicken franchise was delicious, as was the warm bread. The service is impeccable, the water glasses are quickly refilled, and the servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We split dessert, and the NY Cheesecake was wonderful, as was the Affogato! We'll be back!“
“Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a crowd. There's ladies this dudes I mean I guess if that's what you're into hahaha lol. Great “
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at IMC restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. But it was the food that truly stole the show. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and artfully presented. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight for the senses. The culinary team at IMC has truly mastered the art of gastronomy. Moreover, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.Overall, I cannot recommend IMC restaurant highly enough. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an extraordinary meal, IMC is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
“Drinks served with PRIDE. Frank, Eric and Vin are the best. Bouncers and owners are very friendly. Vibes and atmosphere are immaculate. Service is great even on busy nights! Live music/ DJ on weekends. Trivia on Mondays. Great happy hour Private party room is perfect for events. If you are looking for a bar in the area their are many but if you are looking for a great bar Ridge is the place.Happy appy appetizers :)“
“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“
“Just had my sister's 70th surprise birthday here with 50 guests. Fantastic interior completely new interior open space with second floor dance lounge. Service and food were great. The owner has been in the bar - restaurant business for over 50 years in this area. Down the block from Long Island Railroad.“
“Great fried chicken had a wings/thighs combo and chicken sandwich. Spicy is excellent. Did 50/50 with spicy regular for another meal. Also.had fries, rice, broccoli all.very good. Place was really nice inside too. Good bar and restaurant. Parking ain't great but food more than makes up for it.“
“This bar was originally under a different name then it closed and recently reopened with a new name. Inside it looks like absolutely nothing was changed. Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars. The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“New favorite spot!Came for breakfast here and loved everything about it!Service was excellent! Our waitress was lovely and helped us decide what we were having. the menu has staples and not so average but delicious options- win! Even the fruit was so so sweet!Had the ricotta hot honey sourdough with fresh blue berries and omelets that were cooked to perfection.AND great music! We will be back for sure!“
“Amazing restaurant whether it's with friends or family! One of my best friends from college raved about this restaurant and it's easily a hidden gem! You wouldn't normally expect to have a Greek-Mexican fusion restaurant but this one is amazing! I highly recommend getting their stuffed poblano peppers (stuffed with Cauliflower as I'm vegetarian) - 11/10! They even have mocktails and I recommend the mango mule - which I absolutely loved! Will definitely be back here, but given today was Saturday, the restaurant was busy so you couldn't hear the conversation, but food and service are top notch! Also...Food Network...get here ASAP!“
“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.“
“Stopped in for a burger and a beer. This place is a solid 4. I normally laugh when a restaurant asks how you want your burger cooked cause it always comes out well done. I asked for medium, and it fame back medium. If I knew they could nail it, I would have gone medium rare. The burger was well seasoned and excellent flavor. Fries were good too. Great lunch I had.“
“Honestly, I went to this place two weekends in a row and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy it was. I love that I was able to order everything on lettuce wraps. Kung Pow chicken spicy, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and Vietnamese shrimp were among my favorites. I honestly wouldn’t recommend ordering the salsa here. It’s a little affected. One of my friends mentioned that it looked like alla-vodka sauce, and I agree he wasn’t wrong.“
“Went here on a Tuesday night with a group of 8. The food was great and the service was on point . Our waitress was attentive and polite. All the food was cooked correctly and tasted awesome. This was the second time here and won't be the last for sure !“
“Stopped in a handful of times and have never had a bad experience. Friendly group of regulars, attentive bartenders, and everything you want to drink! There’s bar games for everyone to enjoy, and they even have live music from time to time. If you’re in the area I’d give it a shot.“
“Came in for an open jam session, first time here. Haven’t been here in years. This place has changed so much for the better! Comfortable, almost homey vibe. Great fresh tasting food, and drinks. Amazing service as well. We were always checked on by staff. They have a cocktail menu too. Just wish they had a larger variety of wine, but spoke with maybe the manager/owner and he said he will be adding that as he is finishing renovations. Will definitely be back!“
“This is a great place and our server was fantastic, helpful and right on top of things. Very nice and large menu. Lots of tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“
“Attended a large party at the Irish Poet for my establishment's annual holiday party. For apps, there were chafing dishes of chicken tenders, wings, and pigs in the blanket. I preferred the chicken tenders as the wings and pigs got a bit soggy. Then we were presented with mains: salad, penne a la vodka, chicken franchise, and sliced steak (almost like pot roast), along with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. The highlights were the steak, potatoes, and vegetables. Most dishes were lukewarm at best. I like my salad dressing on the side, and a thicker vodka sauce. The salad had so much dressing it wilted the lettuce. For dessert, Italian cookies were served but there were hardly enough to go around. I realize a lot of people skip dessert but it wasn't a good look to be short. Overall, I think a few adjustments to the food should be made in the future. That being said, Amy was a fantastic server. In fact, all of the staff/bartenders were attentive, taking orders, and cleaning up.“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“Sandbar is reminiscent of so many beautiful seaside venues. The interior design does match the restaurant's namesake and it was pleasant to the eye. Even the bar area looked inviting. I could see myself stopping by to watch a game.As for the food, my friend and I shared the mussels to start. Go ahead and dip some bread into the sauce of the dish. It'll change your life. We had the chickpea fries as well but I wasn't a fan of those. Our main dishes included the Pappardelle Bolognese and the Branzino. Both seemed expertly crafted. I have no complaints there. They seem to have a solid wine collection so don't worry about finding the right libation to add to your dinner. There were some slight service glitches and some of the staff seemed less than warm, but that could've been a fluke or my perception. Don't let that deter you. I would come back for sure!“
“The Tipsy Barrel is a cozy neighborhood bar located in the heart of downtown. The dark wood décor and soft lighting create a warm, welcoming ambiance. The bar features an extensive selection of craft beers on tap, with a rotating selection that highlights local breweries. They also offer a curated list of wines and signature cocktails.“
“Excellent experience all around! The food was cooked perfectly, the drinks are great too! Right now during the Christmas season, they are decorated with wreaths and right outside is Wall Street (the closed off road with the large decorated tree, Christmas music, Santa)What we ate:Guinness Pot Roast(Outstanding comfort dish, so tender, flavorful)Finnegan Burger(Juicy, thick, cooked perfectly)Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich(Crispy, seasoned nicely, chicken cooked just right)This is a small Irish pub, there's tables(small and large), and a bar to sit at as well. They have a large assortment of beers (we had Stella and Corona), and cocktails(I had the Hot Chocolate Martini, tasted like an adult Yoohoo).Service was excellent as well, everyone is super friendly, everything came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly (even with a full house).“
“This is our “go to “ place for years! Wonderful atmosphere and great food!We recently hosted a party for 50 people and could not have been more pleased with the service and food. The upstairs party room is beautiful and well suited for private events.“
“I have been coming to the Little Lounge for over 15 years. I have established friendships and even consider the staff and customers as my family. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks are great and the prices are just right. The staff is personable and attentive to all customers and provide excellent customer service! Highly recommend for people to give it a try. You won't be disappointed. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner!“
“Bartender Dara was very nice and quick. 3 buck domestic and imported tap beer happy hour in small cups. Very tiny menu. I was there for an impromptu stand up comedy night. This bar has potential to be something more but falls short and is classified as a dive bar. However if you're looking for a nicely appointed dive bar, (which I enjoy) this is for you!“
“My 1st time here after hearing it was worth trying this spot. Came for brunch on Sat & was part of a group of 6. Our waitress was great! Very knowledgeable about the menu & was kind enough to take pics for us & even found 1 person from the group's missing earring back.Everyone totally enjoyed their meal. I had the brushetta avocado toast w/eggs!! Delicious ?Will definitely be returning.“
“Came here with my wife for karaoke on a Friday and we had a lot of fun. Sang a couple songs and sang along with the other folks singing. They had a solid crew of locals and regulars who come just for karaoke and the regular bar crowd. Everyone was very supportive and into it. The bartender was very nice and so was the two people running the karaoke. If you want to let loose and sing some music in a supportive, judgement free atmosphere then I highly recommend the neighborhood tavern in Farmingdale.“
“This is a great local Long Island bar. The owner Steve and son Greg really run a great show and all of the bar tenders are on point in terms of their customer service and drink knowledge. The drinks are always made the right way and they always remember your order and make it comfortable for you.Their beer selection is impressive as are their alcohol selections. Many great bands come through here and this place runs great shows. Come and get to know the place. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Cheese Pizza and Pretzels, chips. Decent Bar options.“
“Absolutely awesome Dead bar. The bar itself is made of tons of ticket stubs and the live music on the weekends is awesome. Great people, and the owner Beau is super welcoming. It was our first time and they made us feel like locals - a must go for jam band lovers.“
“Been going here for near a year with my family and we love it here. They just adjusted the menu and the chef does great work. Alex is a great server who always takes care of us and does an amazing job. Great prices, great food and great service. Also great music.Kid-friendliness: Everyone has been super friendly when our daughter is there, to include the patrons. Everytime were there my daughter leaves a note and thanks for Alex.“
“The bartender was very friendly and helpful. She was attentive to everyone.I thought I was going to walk into run down, hole in the wall type of bar. I was so wrong! This bar is very cozy and modernly decorated. Even the pool table is in great condition.I highly recommend JJ's Tavern if you are looking for a place to unwind and have some laughs!“
“We went here to have some fun and go bowling , this place is great dark setting for bowling with a bunch of lights going on , great for kids and adults , they have an arcade which has fun games in it too, the food is great, typical bar finger foods , they have a bar for adults to to get drinks while you bowl. Parking right in the parking lot of the place , staff is good nice and helpful. I really liked the Buffalo chicken wings they are very good.“
“My partner and I celebrated our anniversary and it couldn't have been better! Great food and drinks, with a quiet space in the back to get away from the more noisy bar at the front of the restaurant. The food was great for sharing, definitely a great experience!“
“Came in for dinner with my kids(we are visiting from Massachusetts) we put them back at the hotel and we came back cuz the vibe was so great! Food was AHH-MAZING! Service was on point ! Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. If they are making money they will stay open. HIGHLY recommend!! Allof the servers and bartenders were great! Cant say enough about this place!! 5“
“I ordered a Sicilian online with a chocolate pie and peanut butter pie piece. The pizza was a 7 out of 10. Hot, cheesy, and saucy. Could have a been a tad tastier. The desserts were very good. The driver made it under the time. He forgot forks, but came back to give us some....amazing!!! The Sicilian pie was a bit expensive at $30 in a regular pie box.“
“A very nice place to very good experience staff very professional The food is wonderful it's a great experience a good place to eat For some people it's an experience for other people it's enjoyment of enjoying a place like this because they are very professional and they make sure that you are taking care of properly with the food and satisfaction of just enjoying the place in general It is a good experience and a nice place to go for a bite to eat“
“So we went into corner Galley at 815 (close at 9 on Sundays) but they were done seating so we went to runyons... We decided if Matty was behind the bar we'd sit with him but it wasn't so we sat at a table with Sabie. Service and food were wonderful, we both did the pasta night. Wife had the carbonara and I had the eggplant. We also got an order of calamari, which was awesome but waaaayyyy to much food for just the 2 of us. Food was great, service was great, place was vibing with the Nfc championship game on and people in the bar having fun. Great overall experience.“
“A small, local bar with a big personality. My companion and I stopped by on a Sunday for the live music. The music was loud and good. Service was good thanks to the overly attentive bartender. We quickly received our drinks. The food? Well, it too a lonnnnng time, but the bartender was apologetic and kept providing us with updates.I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and my companion ordered the shrimp tacos. Everything was flavorful and the burger patty was thick and had an excellent char. I would order it again.“
“From start to finish we had a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris. We were pleasantly welcomed to the restaurant by the valet even though we had parked our car ourselves. We were seated quickly and immediately were given water and our drink order taken. Our waiter Tyler was so attentive and our food was absolutely delicious!“
