“Sunshine Restaurant in Hicksville on 530 Old Country Rd is one of the Best and Most convenient place to dine in with family and friends. Food we ordered was Super Delicious. We feel that this restaurant has the Best food in Hicksville Area. Every item we ordered was fresh and d mouth watering. Prices are very reasonable and staff is very friendly always ready to help. This place is great for party and small family functions. Their catering service are excellent. I recommend all my friends and family to visit this restaurant, you will not regret it. “I had an amazing experience at NY Axe and would absolutely give it five stars! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable right away and took the time to walk us through everything—even if you’ve never thrown an axe before, they make it easy to learn.
What really stood out was how engaging and supportive the team was. They didn’t just give instructions and walk away—they stayed involved, offered tips, and made sure everyone in our group was having a great time. It quickly turned into a friendly competition, and we were all hooked!
The space itself is clean, well-organized, and perfect for groups, whether you’re going with friends, coworkers, or celebrating something special. It’s such a unique experience and definitely something different from the usual night out.
If you’re looking for something fun, interactive, and memorable in Huntington, NY Axe is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!“

“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!“

“We held a family fun night in their back room this weekend, about 30 people. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Thank you Amy & Jenny for such great bartending & waitressing!! Jeff had the turkey burger and I had the lobster roll I asked if he wanted to split our meals but he liked his too much lol I had to eat most of the lobster off the top so I could eat it like a sandwich Took the picture after I ate a good portion off the top Mark and his crew are the best! Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible, prices are very budget friendly, staff is accomodating and friendly, easy parking, classic games / pool table, light snacks, they have no/low alcohol options (beverages) ... a great place to meetup with a grouo of people. Diagonally across the street from the Paramount Theater on NY AVE. Overall, this cute little 'mom & pop owned' place is very well done. (thumbs up)“

I can’t speak for the drinks, the service, or the music—because the second I stepped into the bathroom, I knew I’d found my sanctuary.
We’re talking immaculate tile work. The kind of lighting that makes you reconsider your entire skincare routine. Soap that smelled like a lavender field kissed by angels. A full-length mirror. A working lock. Paper towels and a Dyson hand dryer. Someone even folded the toilet paper like a hotel.
I went in to pee. I came out reborn.

“Made a reservation here for our first night out since our second baby was born. As a parent, a night out is so few and far between when you have a toddler and an infant. We were really looking forward to eating here, knowing the restaurant had just recently open. While my drink was delicious, my husband's was a watered down old fashioned. Next comes the ridiculous part--when I was booking a reservation, I checked out menus thoroughly. On their website, I viewed their menu. Never saw a brunch menu. Our reservation was at 3. We got there 10 minutes early and were seated. Brunch menu still on the table. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back, I asked when dinner started (now I know 3pm is early for dinner, but we were hoping for apps). She said brunch is served until 5pm. We were at a loss. We ordered the breakfast pizzette to just try something. It came out at least 20 minutes later and it was cold. Eggs were cold. Pizza crust was cold. Barely any prosciutto and what was there was burned. No fondue on our pizza as described, and the arugula smelled awful--it was starting to turn. We couldn't get our check fast enough. Will not be going back. Definitely focus on food before trying to build a social media following with swanky decor.“

“Great bar! Love going there. Excellent bartenders and they have fantastic events and parties. And since they bought DiMaggios next door the food has taken a step up from their normally great food and specials. The place looks really nice, too! The people who go there are wonderful... stop in for a drink and food. You will not be disappointed and don't forget your darts.“
