And since they bought DiMaggios next door the food has taken a step up from their normally great food and specials. The place looks really nice, too! “People it's me again and this time I'm in the Applebee's Restaurant and Bar in Hicksville NY (South Broadway Rd next to the Lowe's and I have to say that everything that I've eaten here and the beers is best the food is amazing all the meats are moist and have flavors like nothing you would expect the people here are great and I'm telling you all to come here and believe me you will never stop bring your family and friends and everyone will enjoy it they have TV's all over and you know now the world cup football (soccer) is on well you can watch it without having to distress yourself because there's so many screens you can watch it on and every other sporting events... But the people there are great and the food is best so I'm telling you go....

I was worried that I would not find something to eat because I am trying to watch what I'm eating, but I had a amazing salad with salmon that I can't even explain how good it was -- - totally more than I expected! It was delicious and something I am going to go back for as a staple! The service was great and the manager stopped over to say hi and see how everything was going. Totally appreciate that. If you haven't been to Applebee's in a bit, check out the Farmingdale location and get the salmon salad!“

“Had my office Holiday party here in the past as a sit down luncheon and food and service was wonderful. Yesterday had a retirement party for my colleague and everyone was so accommodating. All my guests loved the food and atmosphere, service was again wonderful and the staff was so nice. Thank you“

“We were at Croxley's on a Monday afternoon for lunch. The place was empty. Our waitress, did not get her name, was wonderful. We told her we were not in a rush and were there to catch up with friends. She was extremely attentive yet allowed us to have our space & privacy. Since most of the restaurants in Farmingdale on Main Street are either closed on Mondays or do not open til 4pm, it's good to know my GFs and I have a place to meet without being rushed.“

“Place has a very local dive feel. Came across this place in search for good wing spots in Nassau, a journey I've been at for a while now. Price for the quantity and quality was very fair ($15 for 10 wings.) These were some of the best wings I've had in a long time after many places tried. The bartender told us we'd like them and he was not wrong. Spicy BBQ were really good and not overpoweringly BBQ flavor. Wings were a nice size and delicious. Seating is limited but the place is a small storefront and the Knicks playoff game was on. Will definitely come back here!“

Umbertos manages the appetite of my wife and mine each and every Friday evening and most definitely do an extraordinary job (to say the least) and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The owners along with their Umbertos staff are"The Tops" as Mel Tormae would say.
