“What a fun place with a great crowd!Whiskey Reds is definitely more of a neighborhood hangout spot but they keep out the bad crowd, retain the good crowd, and there are a lot of laughs in-between! The bar is bigger than it looks and expands to the back with a pool table. The bar area itself is the place to be with a great crowd and TVs showing sports. All sorts of drinks and beers are offered here with something for everybody. The bartenders (especially Charlie and Jen) are incredible. They offer a small food menu if you need something to go with your drinks. There is also a jukebox full of different types of music if you want to request a song or two.“
“Brittany is the best bartender. She is very attentive and takes very good care of everyone who comes thru the door. Very professional and pays attention to all the details. Will definitely be back next week. If you have the time definitely check this bar out.“
“Cool spot. Classic bar and grill food. Really tasty food. We tried the honey bbq wings (small is 8 nice size wings), pulled pork quesadilla (enough for 2 people), onion rings and drinks. Our server was nice and attentive. We sat outside where they had tables and a corn hole set up.Will return for sure.“
“Started going here a little while back for the Subculture nights hosted by Dj Cody and from the first visit knew this was a great place. Johnny the bartender is a great guy and a class act and a really attentive bartender. The service is great here and you never wait a long time to get a drink no matter how many people are there. Along with great service the atmosphere is pretty cool and the nights are always fun. Definitely worth the trip whether you live close or have to travel a bit. I will continue to go to The Rabbits Foot on a regular basis as it is always a great time.“
“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“
“This bar was originally under a different name then it closed and recently reopened with a new name. Inside it looks like absolutely nothing was changed. Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars. The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“
“The new ownership is just what this Mineola institution needed to refresh its brand. The staff is friendly/laissez-faire in that typical "Long Island" way (if you live here, you get it). The bar side can be a bit cramped on busy nights but the restaurant side is very spacious. The copious number of TVs make it ideal for Sunday football and they do occasionally rent the space for private events. The menu has been updated and upgraded but still retains that bar food charm. The wings are of the well-done variety, if you like that and are plenty spicy (although, your taste may vary). I enjoyed the addition of hot pepper flakes on their hottest wings. The baked clams, giant pretzel and quesadillas are perfect apps while the full menu is surprisingly extensive with meatloaf, pot and Sheppard's pie, and a triple meat blend burger that knocks it out of the park. Prior to my last visit, it had been years since visiting Cornerstone and I'm glad I found my way back to this solid neighborhood pub.“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“Came late on a Sunday night. Very friendly bartender and fellow bar patrons. Christmas vibe...1/2 price apps and 2-for-1 drinks. Food was a bit heavy and greasy.Parking: Across from Bellmore LIRR.Kid-friendliness: Good for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“Always a pleasure, my kids and I found this spot about 8yrs ago in LI but the location in Hempstead has since been closed so we now and then venture to the other location in East Meadow, great crew and food, would like to see more locations in NY especially in Westchester Rockland areas..“
