“I've been going to this place for about a year even had my birthday end with a bang here because it's like home and home is where the heart is. I started coming on Monday nights to support a good friend of mine Levittowns finest, and another one of the best bartenders around the lovely Nicole! The at home vibe I get from this place is amazing. Literally everyone knows your name, what your drinking, and what teams you like to watch on the big screen. But the lost art of having a pool table at a bar does not exist at this dojo! Love taking a load off and playing a game of 8 ball with some friends brings me back to high school times when we use to live at the local pool hall. The tunes in this place are rad very 80s-90s feel and I always feel like I'm in an 80s or 90s movie when the juke box plays and I'm the guy having girl trouble Great tap beer selection, clean, and efficient, and to top it off for you pizza Connoisseurs out there, the bar pizza is some of the best bar pizza I've had in a while. So get here, come take a load off , rack up the pool table , I'll buy you a beer, and we can split the pizza and let's make some more times to remember here At Finnish Line!“
“Come to Fridays for a great time. Gary is the bartender to see. Wonderful personality great drinks he pays attention to detail and provides excellent service. You will enjoy yourself. Thank you for all you did Gary Michelle and Joe. The restaurant is beautiful you must look at the pictures while you are “
“Great beers on tap! Service was really good. The server was very good as well! She constantly asked if we needed something which was great! Our beer glasses were never empty for too long. We had the Cue Bacon Burgers and I was very good. I don't like when they just give a little ketchup cup. I prefer the whole bottle so I don't have to continuously ask for ketchup. But a fabulous place and a very large establishment!“
“Started going here a little while back for the Subculture nights hosted by Dj Cody and from the first visit knew this was a great place. Johnny the bartender is a great guy and a class act and a really attentive bartender. The service is great here and you never wait a long time to get a drink no matter how many people are there. Along with great service the atmosphere is pretty cool and the nights are always fun. Definitely worth the trip whether you live close or have to travel a bit. I will continue to go to The Rabbits Foot on a regular basis as it is always a great time.“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“This bar was originally under a different name then it closed and recently reopened with a new name. Inside it looks like absolutely nothing was changed. Same large bar area filled with TVs showing sports, pool tables, and a few high tops scattered around. They had a decent crowd on a Saturday night and you could tell it was mostly regulars. The bartenders are super nice and always remember what you're drinking. This is not the place to go if you want fancy craft beer or the best cocktail of your life. It's very much a dive with a friendly group of people and more of a local watering hole. Not a bad spot to kick back, watch the game, and enjoy a cold one.“
“The new ownership is just what this Mineola institution needed to refresh its brand. The staff is friendly/laissez-faire in that typical "Long Island" way (if you live here, you get it). The bar side can be a bit cramped on busy nights but the restaurant side is very spacious. The copious number of TVs make it ideal for Sunday football and they do occasionally rent the space for private events. The menu has been updated and upgraded but still retains that bar food charm. The wings are of the well-done variety, if you like that and are plenty spicy (although, your taste may vary). I enjoyed the addition of hot pepper flakes on their hottest wings. The baked clams, giant pretzel and quesadillas are perfect apps while the full menu is surprisingly extensive with meatloaf, pot and Sheppard's pie, and a triple meat blend burger that knocks it out of the park. Prior to my last visit, it had been years since visiting Cornerstone and I'm glad I found my way back to this solid neighborhood pub.“
“Came late on a Sunday night. Very friendly bartender and fellow bar patrons. Christmas vibe...1/2 price apps and 2-for-1 drinks. Food was a bit heavy and greasy.Parking: Across from Bellmore LIRR.Kid-friendliness: Good for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“Went with about 15 people. We sat at the bar. Tara the bartender was awesome and made great drinks. Food was really good. We spent a lot of money but not one buy back at the bar. When a group is spending over 1,000 to eat and drink it would be nice if you bought back a couple of drinks. Nice atmosphere“
“Came in for dinner with my kids(we are visiting from Massachusetts) we put them back at the hotel and we came back cuz the vibe was so great! Food was AHH-MAZING! Service was on point ! Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. If they are making money they will stay open. HIGHLY recommend!! Allof the servers and bartenders were great! Cant say enough about this place!! 5“
“Our GO TO pub in Baldwin. It's like walking into Cheers Bar - everyone knows your name and you are greeted with a hug and a smile. Shay is just the BEST and the staff is simply amazing. We love watching games, listening to the bands and playing trivia on Thursday night. Just a GREAT hometown place to hang!!!“
“Food and service was amazing. Owner/manager knew we loved the hot sauce and gave us a sample to take which I think was so kind. Sadly I left my take home box :( but that was my fault. CKT smash burger is huge and amazing. Love the balsamic vinaigrette for the salad as a side. daughter loved their huge chicken tenders portion. Wife loved the turkey burger. Excellent drafts and great cocktailChoices. Loved this place“
“The onion soup had lots if onions and the cheese was good, but could have used more. It was a bit salty, but if you like that then it's OK. The wings were excellent. Meaty and moist. I asked for garlic butter on them which isn't on the menu. Really enjoyed them. Quick friendly service.“
“Always a pleasure, my kids and I found this spot about 8yrs ago in LI but the location in Hempstead has since been closed so we now and then venture to the other location in East Meadow, great crew and food, would like to see more locations in NY especially in Westchester Rockland areas..“
“The wings are banging and the sandwiches are a good size so make sure you're hungry. Plus they have mozzarella sticks and corn poppers that everyone loves. And the drinks flow great. Very friendly atmosphere and great place to have a party.“
“We had dinner at the Farmingdale location on Sunday night (3/11/24) and I just wanted to acknowledge our server Katie. She was friendly, attentive and all around amazing. Probably the best service I've received in a long time. Keep up the great work Katie!“
“Decent local bar. Good company, live music, and NFL playoffs kept me entertained. Widow Jqne 12 year neat with a side of water was a nicely savored sipper. Our friend's star stealer was a gorgeous perfectly executed jumbo pretzel. Cheese sauce too thin, so that's a pass. The pretzel stands deliciously on it's own.“
“Bayview tavern is truly tucked away in Seaford. It's a pretty unassuming spot but pretty good. Our server Carol was very nice and had a welcoming energy as people came into the place for lunch. Now this place didn't blow me away but also was pretty good for a very casual lunch. They have specials almost every weekday that run I believe all day in addition to happy hour special which are 3-6. My dad got the $5burger. It's a plain burger and additions are an up charge, even cheese which I feel like could maybe just come on it. The burger was a little bland but cooked very well and the bun was nice and fluffy. We got the chopped baked clams. Those were good. They were kinda cheesy which I've ever experienced. I liked those. I got the clam chowder and it was actually very good. It was kind of a mix between a New England and a Rhode Island. It wasn't quite a clear broth but not super creamy like the New England. It had a ton of clams. The oyster crackers they gave me were incredibly stale but could've been an oversight. Not somewhere I would go running back but maybe for their HH or something.“
“Stopped in for one drink today because I needed it. The place was very nice, very clean. Two very nice young ladies behind the bar. I had a Manhattan that was very good! But I must say one thing, I had a glass of water and it truly was delicious. That speaks volumes to me. So many places don't put any effort into their disgusting water And it really offends me. This water obviously is filtered and looked after and I just want them to know it that I noticed and it's appreciated.“
“I enjoy good music. Platinum One Band & Oliver Smooth, you guys bring it ? ? ?? I love good food & a nice atmosphere. You get all of that here. Mike, the curry shrimp dinner, was on point last night, topped off w those tasty fritters & rum ?“
“You want to come somewhere to just relax in a family atmosphere and feel like you just walked into a family reunion? Come here. The owner Chris keeps a family type place with amazing bartenders. Food is incredible. Fun antics and and friendly people. Not a 10. It’s a 12.Billy “
“We usually go here on Sunday’s for a drink it’s a nice bar with Lotto in there, they even have live karaoke on Sundays after 9 pm, that’s when it gets crowded out there. Local bar in Hicksville. The owner Nikki is kind and welcoming.Parking: Lots of parking available“
“Stopped in after work on Friday Evening. There was a delightful new Bar Tender Rolland. He is an aspiring comic and had me doubled over with laughter. He isn't experienced but he is eager to please. Once he learns to make a stiffer drink he will rate a 10. But it was happy hour so booze was cheap enough. Looks like he could use the company. So grab a couple of friends and say hello. Only suggestion is women should get a couple free rounds to attract some arm candy.“
“I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are delicious and the team is welcoming and cooperative. always when we go to this place we enjoy a splendid time. I recommend this place with pleasure.“
“I recently dined at Madeira Sports Café with a friend on a quiet Tuesday night. The dual ambiance of a bar and dining area created a welcoming atmosphere. Our meal started with delicious beef pastries as an appetizer. For the main course, my friend enjoyed the pasta a la vodka, while I opted for the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables. We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine. The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. Mauricio’s timely and polite check-ins added to the overall positive impression. The food itself was exceptional, and we chose to forgo dessert. With Mauricio’s attentive service and the delectable dishes, I confidently give Madeira Sports Café a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. We’re already looking forward to another delightful dinner at this establishment and highly recommend it to others.“
“I was a long time patron at the bar when it was ringside bar. I would stop in from time to time for a quick drink after work because it was a block from my job at the time. It was dark, with disco balls and a ridiculous light show...i hadnt been there in about a year until last month when they changed managment and the name to Broadway 247. The remodel is amazing, the new owners brought that place back to life, and pulled the plug on that underground goth disco vibe it previously had. Bartenders were friendly, good drink specials. Ive met 3 of the owners thus far and they couldnt have been more professional or accommodating. I no longer work a few blocks away but have gone out of my way several times to stop in for a drink!“
“Great friendly local bar I've been attending for years .. friendly bartenders and mostly locals that make you feel welcomed :) I always thought it was nice they do Firemans night on Wednesday's amongst other specials like ladies night and free pool on mondays . Cool spot“
“The food is delicious, very nice, though the most delicious of them all is the DESSERTS MAN I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH THE CHOCOLATE DESSERT IS SO. DELICIOUS AND DELIGHTFUL ITS WHY I LIKE TO COME HERE EVERY-TIME also all the food is warm and served hot yes“
“After God created the heavens and earth, separated the seas and skies, gathered the water and grew the vegetation he decided to rest on the seventh day. What the authors of the Bible failed to document was that on that day, an overwhelming hunger manifested in him, one that could not be satisfied with only his writings BUT needed to also tickle the taste buds. So, "The Great" Umbertos Of Glen Cove was created to take care of everyone's hunger here on earth and we are all that much better and happy for it. Thru time "The Great" Umbertos decided to create NY's BEST BRICK OVEN PIZZA (meat lover) and BUFFALO CALAMARI and the rest as they say is history. Umbertos manages the appetite of my wife and mine each and every Friday evening and most definitely do an extraordinary job (to say the least) and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The owners along with their Umbertos staff are "The Tops" as Mel Tormae would say. Umbertos is to culinary arts what Glen is to carpentry -"A TRUE VISIONARY!"- So in conclusion, don't walk BUT run to Umbertos because you don't want them, you NEED them for all your belly filling needs.xoxoxoxoxoxo Jen & Dan Bailey“
“I was impressed with this restaurant. My friends and I were greeted warmly and seated right away. I ordered the quinoa burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was quite good and the fries were stellar. My friend ordered the BLTA salad and she said it was okay. The atmosphere was like a friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant where everyone knows your name. Overall, I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area to eat and enjoy a beer.“
“What a fun place with a great crowd!Whiskey Reds is definitely more of a neighborhood hangout spot but they keep out the bad crowd, retain the good crowd, and there are a lot of laughs in-between! The bar is bigger than it looks and expands to the back with a pool table. The bar area itself is the place to be with a great crowd and TVs showing sports. All sorts of drinks and beers are offered here with something for everybody. The bartenders (especially Charlie and Jen) are incredible. They offer a small food menu if you need something to go with your drinks. There is also a jukebox full of different types of music if you want to request a song or two.“
“I love the food and the prices. We go for the lobster roll and I used to get the fried clams quite often. Now, I'm switching over to their grilled items, and I know they won't disappoint. The atmosphere reminds me of a bar/restaurant that you'd see on television. Needless to say, they get thumbs up!“
“If you're a sports fan, this place is the spot for watching the fights or any big event. It's essentially a classic wooden bar with an open setting and a bunch of TVs.The TV setup is perfect, ensuring you won't miss any action no matter where you're seated. The staff(including the bouncers) are legit genuinely friendly and seem to enjoy their job, contributing to the overall positive vibe. While I haven't tried the food myself, I gave it 2/5 bc these spots aren't typically known for culinary excellence, you should set your expectations accordingly. My boy got the pretzel bites and they looked like Costco pretzel bites. Not saying Costco pretzel bites aren't great, they are(Costco doesn't sell low quality products) I'm just saying don't expect freshly baked salted dough from your Grandma's oven.Drinks- typical beers, and house cocktails. You're here to get blasted and watch the games/boxing/mma. This is the place for it.“
“We stopped in a few times in the last few months. We all enjoyed every meal we had. The service was good, the TV's are plentiful. Just wish there was a little bit of sound deadening, it's always too loud and echoing for my taste, but I am not such a young person. I would suggest giving the place a try, it's is worth it.“
“We were only in Long Island for 1 night before flying home.... went to Ali's as I'd seen it on Google maps. No fuss pub with a pool table great service and laughs. No draught beers but bottles and spirits. Travelling with a friend...we loved“
“We live in Manhattan, so we've been to a lot of good restaurants, but while visiting my sister's house, we had a satisfying dinner at this Irish restaurant in Rockville Center, Long Island, with fresh ingredients and a menu faithful to the original, with ample portions and prices. I really liked it because it didn't seem like frozen vegetables. My mom, my sister, and my cute little daughters, ages 3 and 7, had a great meal. I'm sorry the kids were making a fuss. Please look cute with plenty of tips :)The service was a little slow , there were no kids chairs for my 3 and 7 year olds, and the potatoes (my favorite) were so burnt that I am taking off one star. I hope I can give you five stars next time ~ :)“
“8/29/23 This bar is pretty divey but also cool. It gets pretty crowded sometimes and is definitely a tiny space. I usually come here on some Tuesday nights when my son is with his dad (I get most Tuesdays but there are exceptions sometimes) to come out to support my friend Dave G. who is currently running karaoke here. The staff is very nice, the bartender seems like an expert as far as serving up a busy bar crowd. They serve food but be aware if you order food you need to ask for it from the kitchen cook directly and you have to pay the kitchen cook instead of the bar for the food. Pop in on a Tuesday night for some Karaoke with Dave or just come by to visit!“
“Love this place. Love the people. Always attentive. Good food at a great price. Hibachi is excellent. The sauces are great. The rolls are pretty damn good. The drinks are really good. Adult Cherry Coke is the best!12 30 2023: as good as always. Seafood Fried Rice was amazing. As was the Tako appetizer.“
“Delicious breaded fried chuletta served with salad, rice and beans, and maduras. Service is good. Wish I knew I'd be charged $9 for hot sauce though. Was there on Thursday night unaware it was Karaoke Night so it was very loud. Food never disappoints.“
