I like trying new restaurants and have always had a good experience with Cuban food. So, for my grandfather’s 82nd birthday I decided to take him here. The staff was very welcoming and our waitress, Camila, was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped made my grandfather’s birthday special. I hope to be back again soon.
This place never disappoints were the words of my wife. Even my "picky eater" boys were satisfied. We have been going here for years and were frequent eaters at their Jackson Heights location prior to this place opening. The food is as authentically Cuban as you can get without leaving Long Island. The service is super friendly and accommodating. Delicious Cuban food and service! We had the smoked pork chops, boiled yucca, moros, black beans, oxtail, fried grouper, flounder in garlic sauce, and a salad. We also got ham croquettes and the extremes platter (Cuban antipasto) as an app. We cleaned almost everything on our plates due to how good it was, and also had some flan for dessert and churros and tres leches.
