We were up the street at the Laurel cafe and had recently met Nate from the Corn Cob Mojo band which was playing at the tavern. The atmosphere was friendly, but still a tavern, complete with pool table and dart boards. The bartender was pleasant and offered a taste of a beer we had never tried. The Mojo band was great, a rare combination of everything country, blues, rock a billy, Ahlman brothers and who knows whatever else. Wow!THE LAUREL ROCKED LAST NIGHT!!!!!!BLACK and BLUE brought the Rock generations together for a night of Classic Stones Favorites.The house was packed and drink service was FAST and FRIENDLY!It was great to see so many singing, dancing and shaking off the blues.We'll be back!

Friendly staff, cheap drinks, questionable clientele. A lot of old-timers, full-time drinkers, etc. I would go back for the service and price but it's just not a comfortable crowd, if that makes sense. Anyone that's under 40 or not an alcoholic will feel out of place.
