“I've been coming here for years. I don't know what people issues are with this place. it is exactly as it is advertised, a local, hole in the wall dive bar. Your feet are supposed to stick to the floor a little bit in these places. Their not serving serving chilled champagne on ice here. Been here hundreds of tines, never seen a single racist employee or anything there.“

“We tried brunch here for the first time because the menu looked good , and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with nice pillows and comfortable seats. The menu for brunch had so many good options I changed my mind 3 times, but was talked into the Gruyère burger with an egg on it. It ended up being one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were good too. Everyone was very happy with their meals . The drinks were good and the tres leches bread pudding was out of this world.Our waitress was amazing she was helpful and extremely nice.Overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back to try some other options on the menu.“

The service is impeccable, the water glasses are quickly refilled, and the servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. “Went to Katie's of Smithtown about a month or so ago to see my cousins boyfriends band. The place is really tiny, and the stage took up a good chunk of the room. They had Guinness and maybe one other beer I recognized but other than that there were newer beers. At least new to me. The service was good. Even though it was crowded with for the band, the bartenders got my beer out in just a few minutes. The bathrooms were at the other side of the stage, and the woman's bathroom was tucked back almost behind the stage, which was a bit annoying to get to“
“Just had my sister's 70th surprise birthday here with 50 guests. Fantastic interior completely new interior open space with second floor dance lounge. Service and food were great. The owner has been in the bar - restaurant business for over 50 years in this area. Down the block from Long Island Railroad.“
“I came here with one of my church friends and one of my guy friends that I've been friends with for about 14 years now. I don't drink alcohol but my one friend loves breweries so I go with him to visit them sometimes. I love most of the breweries I go to.They didn't have a non alcoholic beer for me to try but they made me a mocktail which was pretty good. My church friend had wine and my other friend was the one who got the beers. The service was as attentive as it could be for a crowded Saturday night, it was still good.The place is small, but it has more of a classier, upscalish decor than other breweries I've gone to.They didn't serve food just chips but they allowed you to order food from nearby restaurants and delis and have them bought in which is nice. I wish breweries served more food but I'm learning they don't really serve much food. Some of them have food trucks nearby.I liked this brewery and had a good time there.“

The bartender did a ??♀️??♀️we don’t have one? Idk I’d think a bar on one of the most famous Long Island lakes would be a little more high end. The landscaping and overall care of the building is lacking. Rocks everywhere / Old chairs and cushions kinda thrown in the corner and dirty. Despite many signs asking smokers (and I’m a smoker) to use receptacles. There were cigarette butts lodged in between the deck boards outside. This place has SO MUCH potential. The beach view is beautiful and the set up for the band outside looked really nice m- but we were leaving then. The bathrooms were also filthy. The bartender made me a nice drink, good amount of alcohol and around 10 bucks.But come ON guys. You have so much potential for that place.Overall I would return because of the view and the staff were nice.“

“Used to go here for metal shows when it was Finns. Glad to see the local scence is still alive and well here. Love their stage room. The black lights and the black light recsssive images along with the color changing lights pointed at the pictures make an awesome effect. The sound quality is very good. The art everywhere is great. “They don't really have food but man is this place to go on a Wed night for Karaoke! Shout out to the owner Brendan the owner! My business holds its network meeting their the 3rd Thursday of every month and what he does to give back to the community is amazing. One if the greatest guys you'll ever meet! You can also hit it up for events like the car show they have on certain Sundays, bingo night, and awesome DJ's! Def lookout for Barb the DJ! She's the best with the classic party hits ! “I had my husband's 40th birthday at Shanahan's and everything was amazing. Deana was great to work with in terms of setting up the party and planning the menu. She was super helpful and answered all my questions throughout the process. The day of the party the space was set up and ready when I got there and Deana helped me put out the decorations and balloons before the guests arrived. Deana and her staff were friendly and attentive the entire time during the party. The food was delicious and plentiful for the party size. I would highly recommend having a party here. It was such a great evening and everyone enjoyed themselves.“
