“Genuinely the best Greek food on Long Island. Moving out here from Queens and being used to the Greek food in Astoria, we were honestly worried we wouldn’t find anything as authentic out here - but Twisted Greek completely changed that.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly tastes homemade. Everything we’ve had has been excellent, from the gyros to the souvlaki to the sides, and you can tell they really care about quality. It has that authentic Greek street/comfort-food feel that’s hard to find outside of Astoria and keeps me coming back.

On top of that, the service is amazing. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. They’re attentive, quick, and always make the experience feel personal, which makes the food even better.

We’re so happy to have found this place and it has quickly become one of our go-to spots. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real, delicious Greek food on Long Island with great service to match.“

“We recently went there for Mother’s Day. It was super busy! This place is so far the best Greek place I have been too. It is a hole in the wall but it is an excellent hole in the wall. We ordered two salads and they were both excellent. The one with figs actually had a good amount of fig pieces in it. Their soups were fresh too, not heavily salted. Their entrees were sumptuous, healthy and very tasty. We ordered two entrees and they were both excellent. Post lunch they gave out Greek yogurt deserts with fruit and they also gave a small cup of chickpea salad after we sat down. Everything was fresh. The pita bread was warm and fresh. After a couple of days, it is still fresh, unlike the store bought ones that harden. This was our first visit and it won’t be our last. The owner was warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive and caring. People waited a while for pick ups and that only goes to show how popular the restaurant is. The best part: prices were reasonable! 😂“

“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. The food is always spot on and most of all we are treated like family. I would recommend "It's Greek to Me" without hesitation.“

“This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations! The tacos were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and the drinks were just as amazing. Everything was packed with flavor and absolutely worth trying.

My only minor complaint was the wait time for both the food and drinks, but honestly, once everything arrived, it was completely worth it. The quality more than made up for the delay.

I have send a review for the restaurant Greekville. The name says it all. Nice to know there is a great spot to get Greek take out , and this is one of the best. The food is fresh and delicious and they give you large portions , From the chicken gyro to the spanakopita ( spinach pie). The soups lentil and chicken lemon (avgolemono )are good as well .“

“I dined at this restaurant with three other friends on Sunday, 8/17. We had food off of the $37 menu. It is a three-course dinner. I had the Fried Calamari, done perfectly, Filet Mignon, also done perfectly, and chocolate ice cream dessert. The food and service were over the top. They also have a party room that can hold 70 people. I highly recommend SYMI for your dining pleasure. Enjoy.“

“The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

Food is delicious and all staff, front and back of house, are friendly and professional. Nice view of the town and calm atmosphere. Most of the wait staff hired are in high school or college, making this a good place to go to if you’re looking to support neighborhood kids. “I was here yesterday, ordered Chicken Karahi, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka with Naan. Everything was delicious and closer to the perfection. Raita and special Spicy Onions made things more delicious. I will definitely visit again to try other dishes. One more thing which i liked, there werr no mandatory service charges, you can tip whatever you want to. Beautiful small space with Quality Food. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“Was in the area working and decided to have lunch here. The place has a very large menú to chose from so I was a bit hesitant on that. Usually places with large menus tend to have a hard time keeping items fresh, but no not here at hell's kitchen the food was great flavor and taste are great. I ordered a chicken gyro platter. The gentleman behind the counter insisted I try the empanadas so I did and it was very good. The crust was very crispy and flaky just like a traditional empanada and it was stuffed with spicy chicken. I wish I would have ordered a few more. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.“
