“Went here for lunch w friends. The place is small but hopping. Lots of people Picking up. We opted to eat in. Wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made good suggestions. We shared saganiki (a melted cheese and grilled tomato dish) it was warm and flavorful. It had warm feta w tomato on top w melted Greek cheese. Came w pita a good start to share. I had octopus well cooked and lots of flavor it came w onion and green peppers under it. My friends did salads one w gyro meat and they took off what she didn't like and add more of what she liked. My other friend had salad w souvlaki she like the marinade meat but the chunks need to be cut smaller for her. She like the tzatziki sauce. One friend order for her husband to take home and rice pudding. She said he loved his dish and the rice pudding was good tasting. They don't make ice tea but do have refillable soda. So all good. Portion due was enough to take extra home for another day.“
“First time at this restaurant, while in town for a movie. We've been to the Avli in Bayside and this one is as good as, if not even better. We shared a Greek salad and chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. It came with soup so we had the lentil. Excellent! The portions are large so now we get to also enjoy it for lunch. Service was friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back.“

Gyrolicious is consistently serving up some of the best Greek food I've had outside of Astoria, and the staff is always very welcoming. The portions are very generous, and never lack in flavor. “Amazing restaurant whether it's with friends or family! One of my best friends from college raved about this restaurant and it's easily a hidden gem! You wouldn't normally expect to have a Greek-Mexican fusion restaurant but this one is amazing! I highly recommend getting their stuffed poblano peppers (stuffed with Cauliflower as I'm vegetarian) - 11/10! They even have mocktails and I recommend the mango mule - which I absolutely loved! “One of the best Greek restaurants around. There are a couple tables inside and you can also take out which we do often. The food is always delicious and fresh. “Since we went on Easter Sunday we expected a mediocre dining experience ourselves was THE BEST in a long time. The service was exceptional. We were 7 of us. We had lamb chops to Bronzino to sesame tuna to filet minion skewers to a burger. Everything was so delicious prepared to perfection. We will be returning and recommend this restaurant to everyone. We ordered the grilled calamari, chicken kabob dinner, chicken souvlaki sandwich, lemon chicken soup, Greek fries, and a side of sautéed spinach. Every item was fresh and flavored perfectly. “The food is always good. The service was good but they were so overbooked and busy that they could not possibly be as excellent as they usually are. I Hate to not give them an amazing review because I am a regular and always have great service and excellent food there but last night was crazy busy. We waited a very long time to sit and we had reservations for 4 at 7:40lm. We waiting again a long time to get our food order in and then they were out of bronzino so it wasn't the same as usual. But I do highly recommend this restaurant and as I've said, I usually have an amazing overall experience there.“

“My husband and I found out about this place through a neighbor. It's located right by the Bethpage LIRR so street parking can be a little tight. If you have a LIRR parking permit or visit after rush hour, then parking shouldn't be an issue. We ordered their Chicken Gyro and Chicken Souvlaki lunch specials. The lunch specials came with a cup of soup and a Greek salad. We are big fans of their tomato orzo soup but they only had lemon chicken soup or mushroom barley soup that day. We tried their lemon chicken soup and thought it was surprisingly good. The lemon flavor was subtle so it wasn't too sour and the soup was served warm. The Greek salad was a decent portion and came with a lot of toppings. My favorite part was the stuffed grape leaf! We decided to order a Combo of Three (garlic dip, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves) as well. We were blown away by the hummus and thought the garlic dip was more like a pureed potato salad. It was good but wasn't great. The Chicken Gyro was good but I felt the Chicken Souvlaki looked tastier. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu as everything was prepared well. It's just a matter of personal preference. P.S. You get free pita bread and tzatziki with your orders!“
